”Mush”Please don't be intimidated by the amount of words, we welcome you! Welcome to Mush, an Rp based on the lives of sled dogs. I have been absent from many Rps lately, and frankly have been every inactive for the last month or so to be honest. All of my past rps have died out, I may try and restart some if possible… But recently I've been thinking of starting a new one, and figured it would be fun and get my mind off more stressful things xD. Sled dogs have been my “Thing” lately, and if you are into them as much as me I would hope you would find interest in joining this Rp =D. The StorylineIn the freezing and barren place of Alaska there is a small town called Nocome (No-come) near a frozen lake that melts over the summer, but is still too cold for any human to swim in without falling ill or freezing. Recently, the town spokesman has invited any and all near by mushers to bring their best team to a 500 mile race. The trail stretches across many open snowy lands, snowy forests, and even a touch of green fields if the team is lucky. The track has several stopping points along the track for rest and food. Many mushers try to get there and leave as quickly as possible, without and delays. During the race, three of the mushers went neck and neck after racing out of the second inn. While pushing their dogs to do their best, the mushers hadn't realized that the ice and snow cliff they ran along was cracking. The ice collapsed and crushed all three mushers, much to the teams’ horror. All three teams, still hitched to their sleds, made desperate attempts to free themselves and their mushers, digging and clawing at the snow. Much to their dismay, it was no use. As the moon rose above the sky, the dogs dropped of exhaustion and grief. They were all fine, maybe a little bruised from the debris, but their mushers were gone for good… the next morning is when the Rp will pick up, let's see what happens. Will the teams keep their competitive nature with the other teams? Or will they bond together and make a full strong team? Will they make it back to the town? Or will they even get free from the sled? It's up to you now, finish the story. =D Somemore info C=Almost all sled dogs are born to their mushers, in their kennel. All mushers have their own traits they look for in a dog, whether it speed or sure footedness, they may differ drastically between mushers. All sled dogs live in the kennel for life, and are often taken out for training or just a good run once a day or so. All dogs have their own relationships with every other dog at the home kennel. Within Nocome, there are also many pet dogs, not used for sledding, more just for companionship. Other dogs include strays, strays are very common around the outskirts of Nocome. They came in all different breeds and sizes, though they are all breeds capable to survive in the freezing weathers of the area. Sled dog titlesLead dogs- One or two lead dogs are at the head of each team. They follow the musher’s command, find the trail, and set the pace for the team. Swing dogs- Swing dogs follow the lead dogs. They help set the pace for the team and turn the sled around corners. Team dogs- Team dogs provide the “horsepower” of the team and help turn the sled. Wheel dogs- Wheel dogs are placed directly ahead of the sled and tend to be the strongest dogs on the team. If you are still having trouble with them? The TeamsThe three teams that are in this disastrous situation are differed in many ways, its up to you to choose which team your character will participate in. The Comets: This team is made up of Alaskan Malamutes. The musher and breeder of this team bred them for their strength and ambition to learn. Dogs of this team are large and powerful, always willing to learn from anyone, but they are sometimes considered stubborn and frustrating dogs. This team has two lead dogs, adding strength to the team. The Competition: This team is made up of Siberian and Alaskan huskies. The musher and breeder of this team bred them for their speed and surefootedness. The dogs are intelligent and always ready for anything, never missing a beat. They are easy to work with, and very flexible personalities. This team has one lead dog. The Storm: This team is made up of Greenland dogs and Canadian Eskimo dogs, a good mix. The musher and breeder of this team bred the dogs for their intelligence, swiftness, and ability to pace themselves. These dogs learn very quickly and have no trouble pacing themselves. Every dog takes it easy until the final stretch when the run their hearts out, leaving every other exhausted team behind them. This team has one lead dog. I think that it was just if you wanted the breed combination you put earlier, it can't be a sled dog. It could still be a pet or stray though. If you want to have a sled dog character, it would have to be one of the approved breeds. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Both his parents were wheel dogs and were very obedient. He had siblings, both brothers. One, a sled dog in another town, the other was sold to city people and was raised as a pet rather than a working dog. :Personality: Forest is a well tempered dog. He his gentle, but can be aggressive if himself or those close to him are threatened. :Strengths: He can keep calm in difficult situations and enjoys socializing. :Weaknesses: Once threatened he has a difficult time controlling his aggression. "To Fall Is To Die" Appearance: Zenyatta is a gentle gray in pelting with dark black splotches coursing through her body. One of her eyes is a musky brown and the other a vibrant blue. She is missing a tassel with only a little stump in place. This dog has strong bones but is extremely tall. She has always been slender since the day of her birth.Large scars ripple across her chest. Her mother had fallen in love with a male Australian cattle dog from the city whoms name was unknown. Zen was born without a caudal. She grew up in a pack of wolfs, All the other pups had teased her along with bites and scratches creating the scars laying along her chest. At 1 year of age she had left this pack feeling overwhemeled by their harassment, her mother making no effort to stop her. :Personality: She is kind hearted and always ready to help. :Strengths: She is very agile and has a incredibly strong bite force :Weaknesses: Heat drives her insane. She is sometimes to confident for her own good. Her body is constantly growing wich causes her a lot of pain and makes her lose her balance easily. Zenyatta accepted! =D she reminds me of the racehorse Zenyatta xD One other thing, i was wondering if anyone would be interested in playing Ivy's former friend. If not its fine, i was just curious C= If you read her bio it has more about the dog X3 It can be any gender or breed, just have something about her in the character's bio and relationships if you do take it up. 0 players like this post!
