Speckledclaw

She waited for her leader on the other side of the water, her ears were waterlogged. She shook her head and scratched at her ears but the annoying feeling locked on. She mumbled hateful things to the ache until her leader was beside her and they walked back to camp.

She swam in the river and got out on the other side a little bit down from where she had went in. Shaking her fur free of water and padding towards camp. Her ears were pinned down onto her head and she looked like she was thinking hard. She didn't know what was going to happen but she knew it wasn't going to be good..

He was standing guard outside the camp when he saw his leader and the smaller warrior."Ah good to see you back Icestar, I was beginning to worry. Are you alright," he stood at the sight of his leader. He could tell that she was troubled," I caught.a nice thrush today maybe we could share it and let you simmer your thoughts?" He tried to sound polite and be helpful, he hated seeing his beautiful leader worried or agitated.

"Thank you for letting me go Icestar," she bowed to her leader and gently ran her tail across her leaders back to show her gratefulness before she rushed off to the medicine cats den so she could organize the herbs she gathered.

She looked at Speckledclaw and nodded, still thinking and then looked to see Bramblefur. She listened to the tom before considering.. "I'm ok.. We just ran into some important matters I guess.." she stopped walking as she stood in front of Bramblefur, still considering his offer and then nodded, "sure that would be great" she smiled. Her deputy had left.. Cloudspot was gone and now she doesn't know what to do.. She will think of a new one soon but right now this prophecy was more important and threatening.. she stretched and headed into camp, a few paw steps into the entrance and she turned, "are you coming?" she smiled.

"Oh that's understandable I guess. But you can't put all the serious pressure on you.I know it's probably harder since Cloudspot has gone Awol on us," he zoned off while he spoke while thinking about how hard it must be to be without a deputy. He then heard her accept his offer and smiled," oh yeah I am I'll go get the thrush," he hurried off as fast as he could and being the clutz he is, stripped up a bit before regaining his footing. He shook and slowed down as he went toward the fresh food pile. He was very proud of his catch it was the most plump thrush he had ever seen. He grabbed it and carried it over to his leader." I think this is going to taste great! It's all nice and fat, you can have the first taste." His tail flicked with amusement, it wasn't often that people would eat with him.


(I'm gonna play one at a time since speckledclaw would be by herself anyways)

She smiled as she watched him trip slightly, she walked in and sat in a sunny spot. She thought about what he had said, she agreed that it was hard without a deputy.. She had to make the right choice if a cat were to become leader after her, they would have to be what she is looking for in a cat to be her successor.. She soon look up to Bramblefur had come back and she smiled, "ok thank you" she took a bite and nodded, "that is delicious" she purred and pushed it towards him so he could try it. She smiled, she never really made friends with most cats.. she respected and was respected so it was good enough for her.. her clan trusted their lives in her paws and she wasn't about to let anything happen to them.. she had always thought about taking a mate but, she never really got around to trying to get one because she couldn't ever find the cat.. it didn't bother her though. She wanted her own kits but, she was ok with just the company of her clan mates.

He smiled at her delight," I'm glad you like it." He purred as he took a smaller chunk from its side. He didn't need much for for he had grown accustomed to eating little for his clan." I guess I was right it is very good," he noticed Icestar's eyes were distant, she was thinking about something. He took a wild guess," the clan wants to protect you as you do them Icestar. You can't be everyone's protector if you don't trust them to protect you." He gave her a serious expression making sure they made eye contact so she would understand how serious he was. He twitched his nose after saying something so serious to clear the air of tension. He was attempting to cheer her up," you don't talk to many of us. I've always wanted to have a chat with you, I knew it would be n interesting conversation." He smiled and pushed the thrush over to her.

She tilted her head slightly and nodded in agreement. She guessed he was right about that.. when he said he always wanted to talk to her she gave a small smile, "I always thought having a conversation with you would actually be interesting as well. I just don't really talk to many cats because I help hunt and such. I am always in my den if any cat needs to talk or just want to chat. I don't shut any cat out, just trying to think about what to do about what is going on.." she looked at the Thrush, she wasn't very hungry and gently nudged its back to him. Her icy blue eyes went back to him and she smiled.

" That's nice of you to say, but a lot of us were told to once leave you so you could focus on clan duties. And well I'm not too smart but I could probably give you some advice, even if I'm just a warrior," he sighed and nibbled at the food. It was almost gone anyway, he unconsciously nibbled when Icestar was talking. He pushed the carcass away and played on his back with his stomach to the sky." Ah it's so nice to lay on your back in the sun after you eat. It makes me feel warm and relaxed instead of heavy," he purred and stretched out and playfully pawed her nose.

She wondered who told them to stay away but, she didn't mind being alone. She preferred it as an apprentice and she did as a young warrior. She never minded company either though.. it was fun when you could talk to some interesting cats.. she tilted her head slightly to the side when he offered her advice and then let out a small giggle as he explained why being in the sun after eating was great and then he playfully pawed her nose. "Oh really? What kind of advice?" She gave a friendly purr, pawing at him playfully in response to him being playful.

He was glad to see his leader in a good mood," well there's a lot of things I could give advice on, how to keep pesky beetles from hitching rides on you, how to catch butterflies, the best way to sleep, or eat, or maybe on the situation that you're worried about, so there's a lot I can help you with," he looked at her while he was upside down, his eyes were playful and amused. He purred and licked her paw playfully when she nudged him back.

She looked at him, ear twitched slightly sometimes. "Hmm.. sounds interesting actually.." she laughed when he licked her paw and let out a playful meow. "Ahhhh he licked me" she giggled and tapped his nose, smiling. "Advice is great.. Cloudspot used to help me out with these dreams.. but he had left so I don't know anymore.." she still looked happy though.

"You just need to find someone to help you. No one can replace cloudspot but they can take his position as someone giving you advice," he chuckled as he saw his leader expression brighten. " Although I'm not up to date I can help you or find someone to," he rolled around.soaking in the sun.

She smiled, "I think any cat can give good advice if they are given the chance.." she looked around and then stood up. She stretched, her muscles flexed under her light grey pelt, her claws flexing in and out of her paws as she did so. Her icy blue eyes hidden behind her eye lids and then shown again as she stood up once more. "Do you have any advice for me?" She smiled sweetly,;being pretty friendly as usual.
