Silence noticed the hostility Stoneclaw was showing Maple and narrowed his eyes. Once the tom backed off he padded over and stood above Maple.
"Mind if I lay with you?" he asked, his icy eyes welcoming and kind, completely different from the hard, cold look he gave the two quarreling cats.

Maple hissed angrily and shoved Stoneclaw off herself, calico tail swishing violently. She took a seat again, preening her now ruffled fur before looking up at the newcomer. "You don't look like a rouge... But okay" she said, having nothing better to do.

With a soft chuckle he moved to lay beside the she-cat. His lean body was warm against her side as he observed the other cats. He was obviously protecting her to a certain extent.
"I was born a kitty pet and ended up becoming a rogue when I was still a kit," he informed, licking his paw and swiping ot over his torn ear. He was rather thin and had scars marking his body, revealing glimpses of his past.

His ear flicked at hearing the clan cat's mate was a rogue.. he looked right at Bumbletail, a little surprised. "Really? I thought that was against the warrior code.." He said, he remembered the code.. he just couldn't settle in clan life anymore. He looked towards Frostflight, then looked back to his brother. "You are a stupid tom you know that.." He said harshly to Nightfang. There was no reason behind it but, it was his brother.. and frankly he was surprised that he wasn't retaliating.. at all. This wasn't like him.. he looked back to Frostflight, "you really have gotten to him.. wow pretty kitty, good luck with him" He said, not really meaning anything.

Bumbletail gave Talon another warm smile. "Yes it is but I just really like Boulder." She said looking back at stoneclaw who was laying down asleep as usual. "He is kind, bold, and brave." She said laying her tail lightly on her brother. "Although my brother still doesn't like Boulder." She said looking back at Talon. "You see Drake had attacked me giving me my many scars and ripped ear, and he thinks Boulder had something to do with it." Her eyes saddened a little. "I don't blame the rogues for doing this. They have been in darkness for far to long." Her eyes sparkled in the moonlight.

He listened to the cat and wondered why she was so forgiving.. he did all that and still she didn't blame them.. he could see where her brother had come from though.. he wouldn't trust any rogues if they had done that to his sister or his brother. "I see.. well, Drake is just a pathetic cat that followed orders.. that is what he is doing now if you think about it.." He said, implying something. "Besides.. most rogues might be in darkness but, I left Nightclan for it.. our parents are gone and our sister is somewhere out there. Nightfang the stupid idiot let her go shortly after I had left. Once a rogue.. always a rogue young lady.. so be careful.." He said, warning her like he was a friend even if he was a rogue. He looked towards Stoneclaw, "He sure sleeps a lot.. huh.." He said light heartedly, meaning nothing bad. For a rogue he was kind and still had the heart of a clan cat. "I know I'm never going back.. never content here anymore.. I'm surprised my mouse brained brother is still here.. in all honesty, I thought I would come and take him." He said truthfully, nothing to hide actually. He looked towards Nightfang who now had his eyes locked on him. He knew that Nightfang was trying so hard to hold his tongue and he found it amusing.. the She-cat had a hold of him without either knowing it was happening.. it was frankly, very funny. He turned his attentions back to Bumbletail, "some chose the path, others resorted to it.. some were born into it. Just think about that. "

Bumbletail listen to Talon talk, it felt good to talk to a resonable cat. "Stoneclaw sleeps cause that all he can do to keep himself from tearing into all the rogues." She gave a soft chuckle as her brother stirred. "I also believe that every cat can choose their own destiny." She said looking back at Talon, she smiled once more. "So there is someone who rules over Drake they must be powerful." She said curiosity sparkled in her eyes as she locked them on Talon.

Although she enjoyed the tom's company Maple wondered how Drake would react if he saw her pressed up against him. She listened contently, her back going ridged at the mention of kittypets. "Yes, I too was once a kittupet. I would never go back to my old life, my humans were horrid. Quite a few seasons ago I ran away, I happened to stumble across Drake and the other rouges, this was shortly before Bloodfang..." She paused, not wanting to go into too much detail
"Long story short, although I loved my friends and family back in the Twoleg place; I loved Drake more, and I still do. Nothing will change that." She said firmly, resting her head on the ground.

He looked sort of amused when he heard that he was sleeping so he wouldn't tear the rogues apart. "I wouldn't be able to hold back either... if I wasn't a rogue myself." He said, not hiding anything. His ear flicked as she mentioned Drake and some powerful cat above him... "Yea.. he is just a mouse brain that follows orders.. but seeing as how he is done with you, want to come with me to go see the stupid fur ball? He seems so low key that he might know something that no cat does.." He offered, "I could go by myself" He smiled. His gaze flicked towards his brother who was still staring daggers and them gave him a coky smile. He wondered why the cat was hiding his tongue back while the She-cat was around.. the one who called herself Frostflight.. he looked towards her and then back to his brother while he waited for Bumbletail's answer. "Pretty kitty got the Tom's tongue" He teased them both openly.

Shifting on his paws, Shadestep found himself not being able to concentrate on the exchange going on. His gaze drifted to outside the medicine den. Maybe I could go for a hunt... We still need food, after all. Shadestep's attention drifted back into the medicine den once more and he looked from Bumbletail to Maple, his tail begging to softly flick. He just wanted these rogues gone.

Frostflight pursed her lips and narrowed her eyes, willing herself to not retaliate. With a nervous gulp, she turned to Nightfang, "well... Your brother seems uh nice." Her face fell a little upon seeing how annoyed Nightfang looked, he would probably never look at Frostflight the same way. Not that she liked the way he looked at her! She was just upset and confused, she didn't know what Talon was talking about, although it seemed to bother her a lot more than it should.

Maple huffed "that they certainly are, I was lucky to escape, my sister wasn't so lucky. I tried to go back for her, but the family moved and I haven't seen her since. Personly I couldn't bring myself to help a clan cat, they call us monsters?! They are mistaken, these clan cats hide behind fake reputations, someday I will expose them for who they truly are."

He stood up at Frostflight's words, he was very irritated and got right up into his brother's face. He narrowed his eyes at his brother's smirk and growled, "leave her alone.." He said simply before padding towards Frostflight, "Yea.. just the greatest.." He said as he looked sort of at her, he couldn't help but want to look away.. he had made her uncomfortable and was still thinking he was. "Um.. I'll see you around.." He softly said before padding towards the camp exit.

He smirked as his brother growled at him, said something to the cat and then left. He let out a little laugh, only at his brother, it was what he did to his only brother. He wondered how their sister was doing.. she would have probably broken them up if they started fighting again.. he smiled at Frostflight and then his attention to Bumbletail as he waited for her to say yes or no, either was fine.. he could talk to Drake and ignore the fact that he may be hostile. He still thought these rogues were stupid..
