She nodded and got a little close to the Tom, she didn't do it on purpose.. her kit was out far enough that she could grab a gold if his scruff. He picked him up gently and nodded to Boulder, then disappeared into the nursery with her kit in her jaws. She didn't know what to say to the Tom anyway.. so, she just left with her kit.. she put Pebblekit into the nest and gave him a small lecture then, she made sure Tigerkit was in the same nest and cuddled them both close.

Maple smiled, It meant to much to hear him say that, she hated Stoneclaw for saying he was a monster. Maple wanted to say that he was her everything too, but it seemed like an understatement. Drake was her world, without him here, quite frankly nothing would matter. Maple licked his throat, she knew it was useless, Drake never purred, not after what his brother did to him. She rested her head on his paws, letting her purr deepen, blood trickled from a wound on his left paw, Maple gave it a few intensive licks. Stoneclaw would pay for what he had done.

She licked Tigerkit's head, trying to make him feel better as he looked sad. "What's wrong Tigerkit?" She asked gently. She would adopt the little kit if she could.. honestly if she could, she would adopt all kits without parents. She loved them all the same, hers or not.

He smiled a little bit at her licking his throat, it was kind of tickled.. but he wasn't going to let her know that.. he pressed his head to hers and winced a little bit as she licked his bleeding wound. He so badly wanted to purr for her.. she did for him all the time... he attempted a purr, which sounded a little like a growl and a little tiny bit like a purr. He was disappointed in himself.. his brother tried to knock all of the love his heart had out of him. Sighing as he waited for Bumbletail to respond, Shadestep glanced out of the den, frowning. "Will we ever get out of this?" he murmured to himself. Shadestep eventually looked back to Bumbletail, hoping she'd become coherent soon. "It's surreal how we just seemed to be living our boring ordinary lives not so long ago," the black tom muttered to Frostflight, chuckling dryly.

Stoneclaw returned with two squirrels, a jay bird and a pheasant. He walked straight towards the medicine den, dragging the pheasant with his tail. "Here you are going to need your strength." he said to Shadestep, Frostflight, and Bumbletail. He turned back out and padded his way towards the nursery he tossed the pheasant and left, he knew Sunfang wanted nothing to do with him and was fine by him as long as she was safe.

Bumbletail got up slowly it felt as she had stones in her bones. She looked at Shadestep, "Don't mind my brother, the fact that he is so calm tells me that he is planning something very sinister." She laid down to eat the squirrel unable to bend her neck. "Those rogues will get what's coming." she laid her crooked tail lightly on Shadestep. A warm smile on her brusied up face.
