The slim black cat blinked. His amber gaze quickly grew warmer and he licked her ear. "Hey, it's okay. Not fighting back isn't a bad thing, I'd much rather have you here alive with me." Shadestep let out a soothing purr, rubbing his head against her. "To the Dark Forest with those rogues," his voice grew quieter, "I've been thinking of some plans, would you like to help me with them?"

Resplendence Mentions: Stoneclaw
Res' eyes widened slightly. She hadn't expected him to jump at her. At all. Her claws instantly shot out before she realized he was playing, and they falteringly slipped back into her paws. Res was instantly filled with delight as she grabbed hold of him and gave a considerable push out from under the NightClanner. "So, you want to go, Nighty?" she cackled, now standing and shaking out her pelt. Res got into a fighting stance, leering at Stoneclaw, before darting forward and swiping with the intention to knock him off balance.

Stoneclaw was surprised at how the she cat knocked him off his feet. "Oh my she knows how to fight." he chuckled grabbing her before she got out of reach. He nipped at her ears unable to control his purring. "You taste so yummy." he teased her glad that she didn't get serious.

Shadestep beamed back at Bumbletail, glad to see her brightening. He raised his voice slightly- loud enough for Frostflight to also hear but not audible enough for any cat outside the Medicine Den. "Since they outmatch us we can't take them all on. I was thinking we could hold one hostage, you know, threaten to kill one..." He hummed, his mind running off in deeper thought. "But Drake may not care about their life, he is a rogue after all. Maybe plan to get Drake himself?" Shadestep moved against Bumbletail, sighing. "Or I thought we could.." he paused for a second, wondering if it was plausible, "...poison their food." I don't know where any Deathberries or anything like them are. I wonder if we could pull it off? Who'd know where that kind of stuff is...

"So, originally, were you truly not joking when we first arrived? Are you really a cannibal, not the mere Clanner I imagined you to be?" Res gasped after she spoke this, cackling shortly after the gasp. She pulled her ear roughly away, adrenaline shooting through her. "Finally some fun," she hissed, tail flicking. I even got him to purr. Wonderous. She tried to push herself out of his grasp but found it too exerting, instead deciding to seize him as well to begin tussling.

Maple//Rouge//Mentions: Drake, Sunfang, Pebblekit, Stoneclaw

Maple's heart warmed as his purr deepened, she had never heard him purr before. It was unique, unlike any other cat's purr, and Maple loved it, just like she loved Drake. Stoneclaw had tried to persuade her that he was a monster, but he was wrong. Drake wasn't a monster, at least to Maple he wasn't, the she-cat knew he loved her with all his heart, and Maple felt the same about him. Her purr stopped suddenly, she rolled onto her stomach and sat up, turning to face her mate. "It wouldn't be right would it?" She meowed softly
"to have kits... Not in this environment." She watched Sunfang and Pebblekit outside, almost in a longing way.

Frostflight yawned, she could feel the herbs starting to make an effect, she listened half heartedly to Bumbletail and Shadestep's conversation.

Frostflight's head shot up at the sound of that, she blinked, getting the sleep out of her eyes, "there is one cat Drake cares about..." She said, trailing off. Frostflight paused,
"that wouldn't effect the other rouges though, and capturing Drake himself is useless, he could easily kill us all. I say we poison their food."

"You know who I heard my brother talk to a female name maple on his way back with herbs, he was saying something about her monster of a mate." she tried to remember but it was still pretty hazy. "Then I heard her yell back at him something but it was kind of hard to hear."
Her placed a paw on her ripped ear, it was in alot of pain but didn't know why. "I bet i look pretty roughed up huh?" She tried to make herself laugh, but it began to shake with anger and sadness. "He bit my ear off, i wonder why i couldn't move it." She began to tear up in frustration.

"Why would I lie about that, If I couldn't prove it." He chuckled as they began to roll on the ground. He let her go, pouncing over her and started to nip her hind legs softly causing the she-cat to trip. He was happy to finally find some on to tussle with.

Drake
Mentions: Maple

He looked at Maple as she sat up and spoke of kits, he looked in the direction was looking in and for once smiled. He looked back at her, "kits here.. I don't want to risk it.. these cats would do anything to get us out of here.. I want kits as well but, honestly I don't think I would be a great father.." He smiled, sort of weirdly in his opinion.. "they probably think I'm a monster.. I second it actually.. I really am one. One I never wanted to be but, I don't know another way of life." He said honestly, he would only be extremely honest to her.. "my family didn't like how I acted so, they clawed me, I was a good cat and they broke me.. I can't get out of these ways and frankly, I'm trapped... do you really want to be trapped with me?" He looked at her, for once his eyes were showing sadness. He loved her so much but, to him she was perfect and he wasn't..

(Needed to get a little more of his conflicting personality in there XD he is a sweetheart but a Savage.. lol)

Maple could feel her eyes filling with tears, she had to look away in order not to cry, this was no place for kits, she was stupid to think that it ever could be. "you're not a monster Drake" she whispered. Maple waited for him to finish, when he had she stood, and gave his head an affectionate lick. "You're my everything Drake... But right now I'm just a little confused." Maple bowed her head and ducked out of the leader's den, she scanned the NC camp, her eyes finding Stoneclaw right away. She marched over to him, ending his fun with Resplendence. Maple had some unfinished business to settle with the tom.

Stoneclaw watched as the Maple approached, "Resplendence you sly cat how did you make this so much more exciting?" he laughed hopping of of Res. He sat next to the she cat waiting for Maple, "Looky looky what the rats brought in a lost kitty pet." He gave her an evil smirk. "Why don't you go back to your mate, leave us to our fun." with that he pounced on Resplendence again. "Is this more fun for you Resplendence?" he chuckled evily "But I guess we must stop, she might tell her kit killer of a mate." He flicked Res's ear and ran into the bushes.

Boulder padded back in camp, his amber eyes cold and solid with loneliness, his muscles bunched up, and his pelt bristling a bit as he looked around for more rogues. 'Please, no rogues.' He sighed, seeing rogues all over the NC camp, he groaned, padding towards the fresh kill pile, and picking up another scrawny mouse, taking it with him to the middle of the clearing, his ears perked as he began on eating.

Shadestep nodded along with what Frostflight said, then added what Bumbletail contributed to the equation. "Maple... We could go after her. She would be Drake's weakest point," voice still low, Shadestep continued, "though I agree we should poison their food. We'd only take Maple hostage if we don't succeed at contaminating their meals. Do you know anyone who would know where to find something poisonous?"
Shadestep purred and nudged Bumbletail's face with his muzzle at her latest words. "You look tough now. After this is all over if we encounter rogues again you'll send them running." He smiled at her encouragingly. "If it gets too painful let me know and I'll clean it for you."

Resplendence Mentions: Stoneclaw, Maple
Res had been so absorbed in the scuffle- adrenaline filling her body- that she didn't notice Maple approaching until Stoneclaw released her and moved away. She smirked and flicked an ear towards Stoneclaw in acknowledgement to his words from where she lay, her gaze on Maple. Before she made up any decisions Stoneclaw was on her once more. "Yes, I do enjoy our activities," she grinned. At his running off into the bushes, she stood and shook herself out, glancing off at where he disappeared. "You're here for vengeance? Are you not?" she asked Maple in an inquisitive tone, turning to gaze at her, eyes gleaming.
