She licked both kits on the tops of their heads as she purred. When Pebblekit fell asleep she looked at Tigerkit, "please try to get comfortable.. you two can share the prey that Stoneclaw dropped off ok? Just please don't worry.. I will be right back" she whispered so she didn't wake Pebblekit. She turned to the prey that Stoneclaw had left and she flattened her ears to her head, she disliked that cat.. she picked up the prey gently and put it beside the nest. Then she proceeded out of the nursery and looked at Boulder, who was all alone.. she felt sympathy.. she was once all alone and she felt like that even now. Her mate was gone and she had only Pebblekit.. she thought of Honeypaw as a daughter and if Tigerkit would allow her, she would think of him as another son. She padded up to Boulder and smiled; "mind if I join you?" She said kindly, "no cat deserves that kind of treatment.. I don't care who you are" she said gently, meaning it, he didn't deserve to be alone.

You don't seem like a bad cat.. frankly at first glance, I wouldn't have thought you were even associated with Drake.." He said honestly, trying not to sound weird.. she looked towards the nursery to see if any cat was entering or leaving and then looked back to Boulder.

Shadestep nudged Frostflight in a friendly manner at hearing Bumbletail reply, happy. "I'm just glad you're well," he told Bumbletail, purring and coming closer, leaning down to lightly brush his head against hers. "Or at least, more so than you were before." He grabbed the jay before he settled beside his friend, laying. "Hm, seems I judged your brother too quickly, he seems to have good taste in prey." She looked concerned, listening to the Tom and looking at him as he spoke. She sadly smiled as he joked, "if a group of us ever decide to chase him out, we would protect you.. at least I would.." she said honestly. "Drake killed my mate.. I watched him die and I will never forget it.. he will get it.." she sighed but smiled sadly, "how did a cat like you end up in a cat like that's group?" She sounded sad, like happiness was so far out of reach and she was scared no cat would be happy.

Boulder flattened his ears. "It was a big mistake, but I was 6 or 7 moons old, and Drake tricked me into thinking that he would help me....He did but I had to re-pay him of course" He sighed. "I was young and stupid...." He opened his left amber eye. "Then....I did something he didn't like...And..." He shivered a bit. "He slashed me at my right eye, but it was too harsh and hard, that he...He got it blind, I ran to the forest...And got it out, that's why now I now close this eye" He meowed, his breath fogged up with all the cold.

Her eyes showed every emotion she was feeling.. she was sad, angry, upset and sympathetic.. "that is awful.. Drake is the worst cat I have ever met.. but he is better than what his brother was.. you see, Riverwhisker once was in Drake's group.. when Drake's brother was alive that is.. once Riverwhisker had left them, Bloodfang would stop at nothing to get back at Riverwhisker for being what he called a traitor.. in what he thought would be easy, the fight costed Bloodfang his life and Riverwhisker lost his to Drake.. so really, Riverwhisker killed Bloodfang and then Drake killed Riverwhisker.. now, I guess Drake wants us to pay for what Riverwhisker had done to his brother.. I'm sure you already know this but, the difference is, no cat was there to save him.. but if you want to come with us, I will be there to back you up ok?" She smiled sadly, the thought of Riverwhisker's death still gnawed at her.. she didn't want much to do with anything now.. not food, water, or even socializing with a lot of cats.. grief was what she was never good at handling..

Stoneclaw was bored and decided to go mess with Resplendence. She was the only one he liked talking to, she didn't try to push herself or over power him like all the others.

She sighed as she stood up and stretched, "Yea.." she looked in the direction of Stoneclaw and she didn't seem as happy.. she hadn't meant to look at him, she just had.. she turned her attention back to Boulder. She smiled sadly, "I will see you around I guess" with that she padded off and disappeared into the nursery and laid in the nest, cuddling the two sleeping kits close to her. She let out a purr, they were so adorable..

"I wasn't brave, I couldn't even fight back all i did was scream for help and cry." She tried her hardest to hold her smile a as tears rolled out.
