two packs have lived in the forest for many generations. These packs are known as the sun pack and the moon pack. A time has come when food is scarce. Winter has hit the packs hard, and they have begun to fight for food and invade each other's territories. Many wolves are left with wounds or starving bellies. The packs have turned on each other, they have gone to war for the food. Will the packs make it through the winter? Or will they destroy each other, blinded by hunger?

Akshika | Sun Pack | Eta | Fae | 4 years Location: The Sun Pack camp Mentions: Mishka Akshika inhaled softly, letting her eyes close for only a brief moment before she blinked them slowly open again."I hope your right.."Akshika mused aloud, she really did want today to be a good day, gosh she can't even seem to remember the last time she had a solid good day in the last few months of winter. Fluffing up her thick coat slightly she let her gaze rest upon the hessian once more."I'm guessing under would probably be the answer to that" she chuckled slightly. Roose | Moon Pack | Zeta | Hessian | 4 years Location: The Moon Pack camp Mentions: Aeron & Meira The large hessian inhaled deeply, nodding his cranium slightly in agreement at the hessian's words,in all honesty it's probably where he'd end up in the end too if they didn't have anything better to do."Couldn't not say I'd not be in there either" he replied, clearing his throat slightly before he rolls his shoulders back slightly in a feeble attempt to ease the stiffness in his muscles from the continuous cold weather.Lifting his hazel gaze at the sound of approaching paws he'd observe with a rather plain expression as Meira approached the two of them before she comfortably plopped her frame down in front of them, simply staring at them. Irises narrowing slightly he cocked his brow in silent question at the fae's peculiar actions. "Need something from us?" he questioned her bluntly. (Roose is a lil arse) ![]() Edited on 24/07/16 @ 11:13:17 by Ella (#92690) |

Nomia // Beta // Sun Pack // Mentions: Veyron and Rishima Nomia stirred at the sound of Veyron and Rishima's voices outside the den. She had slept later than usual. Her restlessness at night granted her little sleep. She made sure to sleep near the edge of the den so that when she made her rounds she wouldn't disturb anyone. It was almost a habit now, the way she rose a few times at night to check on her packmates. She would go to each den in turn, looking for the warm clouds of breath and feeling the warmth of the den. It was harder on the body when it was cold, but so far everyone was faring as well as could be expected. Rising to her feet with a sigh, she shook out her brown fur and slipped out of the den. Veyron and Rishima both looked amused, and from the excess snow on her fur it looked as though Rishima had taken a tumble. It was clear Rishima didn't mind, and it made Veyron smile. Watching the two of them enjoy each other was grand entertainment. Not wanting to bother them, she looked on from afar, ears pricked and a smile of her own twitching at her lips. Kohl // Iota // Sun Pack // Mentions: none Kohl entered the camp, cold to the bone and covered in snow. Unable to sleep, he had been out to look for herbs. The snow and cold was unforgiving, and their stores were dangerously low. How could he expect to keep his packmates healthy when there was nothing to use? If he wanted to have a chance at getting anything, he had to dig. It was cold, hard work, but he had no choice. The deep snow covered everything. Even then there was no guarantee that he'd find anything. The best luck he had was usually buy the river, under the shelter of the trees. Some things managed to grow there sparsely. He had managed to clear out a few areas under the trees and churned the dirt in an attempt to get something to grow. With the snow continuing to fall, however, it needed to be done at least once a day to keep it clear. It was endless. He hadn't managed to find anything this morning, and as he shook his fur out he looked around the camp at his rising packmates. He sighed and attempted to put on a good face. Today would be good. It had to be. ![]() Edited on 24/07/16 @ 12:12:24 by DressageQueen {DQ} (#601) |

Fae | heterosexual | Arctic Wolf | 3 years |Upsilon Location: Moon Pack Territory edge Mentions: Tyrael When Morra had finished she buried the bones in the numbing cold white. She would need to kill once more, she would need to kill for the pack of the moon, weak though they might be. The she-wolf raised her head. The air was crisp and the ground was cold but the air was full of scents. She closed her eyes and let them fill her mind. Each one told a story, held a truth to tell. Here had been a fox of red with her cubs now grown. Here had been an elk so tall that it's crown reached the sky. Stories of prey were mostly old not new but yet she still followed one path that lead towards the open sky where trees were replaced by an endless sea of grass. Now it was nothing more than an icy waste. She moved quiet and swift, weaving her path through the ancient trees so tall. Soon they gave way to open grass land, there she lost the sent and what remained was only memory. Morra was just about to turn but than stopped in her tracks. She wasn't alone, Morra turned her gaze away from the shadows beneath darken trees towards the meadow. Far away yet close stood there one of white and brown, one eye of sky and one of emerald green, hunched over the carcass of a rabbit that once had known the sky. He almost twice her height and had fangs like knives, but curiosity pulled her closer and her body followed, creeping low over the ground. ![]() Edited on 24/07/16 @ 12:24:01 by Morra (#90939) |

Azazel|Sun Pack|Delta|Brute|5 Years Azazel watched the blind fae step out of the den. He waited until she was a few tail lengths ahead to make his own exit. He felt the intense need to run like he had in his dream, but knew he had to wait for Veyron to give out orders. The trees that grew around the camp had few needles on them, the only large clumps growing at the very top. Most were so close to each other that the sad branches wrapped around each other. The clouds overhead looked thick, and they were obviously heavy with snow as the brute felt more sticking to his pelt and tickling his nose. Most of his packmates were mingling with others, but he decided to go towards the edge of the camp. No one was around him, so he sat down and began thinking of places to run to if he had no assignment for today. Meira|Moon Pack|Lota|Fae|4 Years The brutes before her were rather blunt, but she didn't let that deter her. Instead she ignored their tones and decided to answer them. "I was just curious what you two were up to really." The fae's words portrayed her now bubbly attitude. Don't let them get you down, they're both just grumpy old bears that must need a positive attitude around. She told herself this as Roose narrowed his eyes at her. Meira shuffled her paws in the snow sensing the tension, but she decided to just steer away from it. "Did you both sleep well?" A smile pulled at her lips as she, almost frantically, shifted her gaze between the two. Why she had decided to try and talk to these two she wouldn't know. Though, her best friend from her old pack was a big grump so perhaps she just liked the introverted type more. Maybe she just liked the attention she could get from one because of their lack of other friends. She would never admit it to herself, but she thrived on social interactions far more than most. Those days when she had left her old pack were brutal, and she often had nightmares of being completely alone forever. Meira hoped that at least one of them would acknowledge her. Ooc: These both aren't too great, but hey, I tried. xD ![]() |

(If I missed something inform me, only had time to glance over everything.. MORRA I LOVE THAT POST <3) Tyrael Brown and white ears flickered forwards as the tell-tale signs of something walking through the forest hit his ears, the noise slowed considerably and he figured it was a coyote or something that had spotted him. The male shrugged and continued chomping down on his meal, the loner having not caught or eaten on the territory figured he was safe and if not he could take care of himself. Sky and Emerald colored eyes flashed in the sunlight as he looked up just in case before finishing his meal. The male stretched and walked along the territory border, though a good 4 feet away. Again, there was that noise! Now he thought it may be a wolf following him or something like that, it seemed to gradually get closer. In his training at his old pack he was taught how to track, and caught sounds not many other wolves could. And being the only wolf left of that pack it was even less. -so short sorry- Toyota Toy gave a slight sigh, these wolves took forever to awaken. On the wind came the smells of deer, fox and something he couldn't quite distinguish but the wolf paid no heed. He was laying alone and was perfectly fine with it. The pale golden, icy eyed, male watched everything through half closed eyes, his ears moving around to catch the noises of those around him. Though he didn't appear it, the warrior was on full alert and paying attention to all the little things around camp. -super short writors block- ![]() |

Kohl // Iota // Sun Pack // Mentions: Blackberry Watching Blackberry struggle in the snow, Kohl huffed in amusement and made his way over to the young wolf. "This stuff blows, doesn't it? Cold, wet, and good for nothing. No food for prey, which means no food for us. Not to mention there's no herbs. My paws don't know what warmth feels like any more." As he talked he nosed the brute's fur, checking him over. He felt cold and was terribly skinny. Being a Psi wasn't easy for a mature wolf, not to mention a young one. He needed food to grow. Kohl began to lick his head, trying to warm him as best he could. ![]() Edited on 24/07/16 @ 14:26:12 by DressageQueen {DQ} (#601) |

Varîon|Brute|Gamma Sun Pack|7|Status: Calm|Mentions: None Varîon finally awoke seeing all the others. It was a fine day it was as he started to head off looking for the pack. He watched as everyone talked with eachother. It looked like everything was alright so he had nothing to worry about. He decided to go back to his nesting. He was old so he had nothing to do most days except watch the pack. He stumach was starting to rumble but he could hold it until he really needed food. He watched as his nephew trotted about everywhere. He smiled seeing how much he was like his father. He started to stand up and start talking to the pack seeing he liked to be alone more but he should know a thing or two about his pack members. Tori|Brute|Kappa Moon Pack|4.3|Status: Calm|Mentions: No one Tori finally awoke and stood up quickly. He was a very energetic wolf so he was ready for the beautiful day. He decided to hunt something solo before someone gets hungry. So he walked off and than saw some rabbits. Not really a big meal but he decided to kill 2 of them and kept one for himself. He ate one of them quickly almost in one gulp and trotted back to the pack and dropped it into the food pile. ![]() |
