Alex's hair and eye color is grey, while his skin tone is heavily tanned from digs. He mostly wears a green tank top underneath, and loose cargo pants. General things you'd have for a dig, yannow?

Background:
Alexander's parents were rich shipping magnates in Veilstone, allowing Alexander and his twin younger siblings to live in relative ease as they grew up. There was nothing surprising in his past life, other than he never really had a pokemon to call his own. When he actually started studying at the Sinnoh College of Paleontological and Archaeological Sciences, he got to go out to dig sites and work. Then, he managed to find his Spiritomb at one of his first digs. His professor allowed him to keep it, mainly because he was the one who found it and the only person it would listen to.
Through another digging expedition, Alex acquired his Bronzong, which was unearthed along with some ruins. The psychic type was able to communicate, and the dig was deemed a success just because it was able to point out where there were more ruins and provide insight into the past. Alex decided to ask it to join him due to how useful a psychic type could be, and it didn't protest.
For his senior thesis, Alexander went to to Kanto to study the diversity of Omanyte and Kabuto specimens. He actually found several Aerodactyl fossils as well as an Aerodactylite of his own. A sample from an Old Amber found in another site became his third pokemon, though an unruly member for a while.
As a gift for completing his thesis, his parents gave him a Turtwig, the starter pokemon to Torterra, a pokemon Alex loves. Surprisingly, it was his third pokemon, but it settled into the team nicely. He only really started the league challenge to bring awareness to the destruction and fraud going on with cultural heritage and fossil beds.
He got a Pancham from a trade with an Unovan, and a Cleffa as a gift, and had to take a bit off before getting his last few badges. He finally took the crown of Champion almost a year ago, and has since been leveling the newest additions to his team to compete with his older ones. He mostly waves his Champion title and fame for his own benefit when doing archaeological work, though.

Background:
A Snowpoint City native, Keith found the freezing city a bit slow for his tastes. He longed to be a biker, and joined the local mountain corps. He dealt with an Articuno a few times, and absolutely hated the cocky little bugger, having a bit of a... friendly rivalry with it. As he slowly got into his 20s, he realized he needed to branch out like a lot of the other youngsters. He started his pokemon journey fairly late, and his only team member is his longtime friend, which he only recently captured. Maybe one day he'll be taken into the Ranger Corps, but for now he's intent on exploring and having fun.

Keith rarely uses her in battle, preferring to keep her out of her ball and accompany him wherever he goes.

Not very considering of human life, this Articuno has already claimed a few dozen people to the blizzards they create, or simply freezing trainers trying to capture them.
History:
Living in the chilly northern part of Sinnoh, this Articuno had taken to being a real asshole for the local mountain patrol. It enjoys harassing local trainers during storms it whips up, as well as racing and being a general dick to the patrol trying to clear paths. This 'cuno has a history with Keith, being the primary recipient of it's competitive nature for years now.

Description: Aria is a slim, slightly-tanned female with dark brown, nearly black eyes and a lighter brown hair. She normally has her long hair in a ponytail, dangling down to her mid-back when pulled up. In terms of clothing, she normally wears khaki-style tan shorts along with a black t-shirt and tan vest that only reaches to her lower chest. Aria, also wears black combat boots for better navigation, and a bracelet with a Key Stone within it, as well as a pink pearl as large as the Key Stone on the reverse side.

History: In her short few years as a historian, Aria has explored many ruins in order to complete many mysteries about the Pokemon World's history. Although not one of the leading sources of history, she's still determined to travel everywhere in the world and discover new things for the world to see. One of her solo expeditions led her to the Spear Pillar in Sinnoh, although a Hoenn native, and met the Space Diety, Palkia. After watching her throughout dozens more expeditions, even managing to take down Regigigas with her Blaziken, taking over a year to prove herself and overcome trials, the water-and-dragon type accepted her as a worthy trainer to travel with. Palkia, not wishing to be confined by a Pokeball, instead gave her a pearl charm for her Mega Bracelet to summon him at any time.

Personality: Aria is hot-headded and determined, though also has a strong sense of justice and curiosity. She tends to stumble into trouble, such as angering a Regigigas, and has to rely on her Pokemon to help her out of it. As such, she does have a lot of passion toward battling and exploring ruins and places like that, especially now that she has a Palkia on her side, like her (would-be) older cousin, of whom was chosen by Reshiram, but was killed by a power-hungry Kyurem's Draco Meteor. Due to this knowledge, she works incredibly hard to live the life her younger cousin couldn't, and also HATES Kyurem of any kind, even if it's not the one who killed her cousin.

Appearance: Your average Lapras, but with various 'cave artwork'-style carvings and artwork on her shell.

Personality: Kind, caring, extremely respectful, as well as generous. Sky is almost too eager to ferry people around on her back, similar to many other Lapras, but is very adamant in who she will not allow on her shell. In addition, she knows many things about history, hinting that she is incredibly old, and often talks like a 'mother' of sorts, like a Toriel of the Pokemon World. However, she tends to get into arguments with Kyoto often.

History: Ferried people and Pokemon around for her entire life, even serving as a vessel to carry chosen Pokemon and humans to the dwellings of Legendary Pokemon. Is speculated to be friends with many Legendaries such as Dialga and Palkia. (I'm trying to go off PMD: T/D/S k XD)

She often creeps out her teammates, but Driller really just doesn't care.

History: Was a fossil, was revived. Chaos ensued.

Appearance: Your average Palkia, only his usual lavender markings are much more of a royal purple. In addition, one of the orbs on his shoulders are cracked.

Personality: Pyrus is incredibly hard-headed, taking matters into his own hands when his domain is threatened. He likes to 'drop in' out of nowhere and scare the ever-living shit out of those who are threatening the fabric of space before tearing them to shreds and spreading their remains in different dimensions of space. He is strict and demanding of those he calls his allies, and usually feels that he's the last resort most of the time. However, he is very blunt, and will explain how much he hates someone or an ideal with either vocabulary or brute force.

History: After dealing with many attempts on the safety of the world and space-time, and also having to deal with his nemesis Dialga to help repair it. Pyrus went back to patrolling the many dimensions of space as well as repairing the various areas of his domain that remained damaged or distorted. On one of his patrols, he noticed an intruder, Aria, at the Spear Pillar, where many incidents involving the deterioration of the fabric of space-time occurred. He took action immediately and confronted her, only to find no ill intent of her after a lot of explaining from her Pokemon and herself. Her ideals stuck with him, and he decided to watch how far they would take her, although he isn't a Zekrom. After watching her take down Regigigas with a Mega-Evolved Blaziken, her skill was proven to him, and he made another appearance to grant her permission to summon him at any time through the use of a small Lustrous Orb [Which he 'cleverly' nicknamed the Lustrous Gem], and has been often called upon to recount tales of distorted space and events in ancient Pokemon history, and occasionally in battle.

Description: Reaching the height of 6'2 feet tall, Cecil has dark, short hair (spiked on top) and bright blue eyes. His eyelashes are longer than average, and he has somewhat fair skin, despite how frequently he travels.
History: Cecil started out in Solaceon Town, training his family Piplup and Houndour within the Solaceon Ruins. At first, he felt rather comfortable within his hometown, but was finally pushed to explore the rest of the region when he got a visit from Lucian of the Elite Four. With this, he went out and caught only three more pokemon: ones that were able to prove their loyalty and strength to him within battle. Eventually, he was offered a position as a gym leader in training, but gave up this opportunity so that he could take his exploration and training outside of his home region. He managed to defeat the Elite Four of the Sinnoh region with his Empoleon and Houndoom, but was bested by the defending champion, Cynthia, in a very close battle.
Houndoominite: When he finally traveled to the Kalos region, he met up with his friend's dad, Aeryn, who gave him his Houndoominite, explaining that he and his Houndoom were growing too old to use it much anymore.
Personality: Cecil keeps a cool head, rarely showing any sign of emotion within battle. In conversation though, he is very outgoing and charismatic, allowing him to make and keep many friendships. He is very intelligent, using this to his advantage when training and battling with his pokemon.

Personality: Colbalt is extremely loyal to Cecil, even containing a very similar personality to its beloved trainer. It keeps a very cool mind in battle, no matter what the situation, and doesn't tend to play much with other pokemon. It does tend to be a bit of a showoff at times though.
History: Empoleon hatched in Cecil's home after its egg was given to his family. It is only a few days younger than its trainer, and they have been the best of friends ever since the two first laid eyes on each other.

Personality: Deimos is also very loyal to Cecil, but its main weakness comes from its temper. When socializing with pokemon, it enjoys trying to impress those who are weaker than it, but it tends to get into fights often. It highly respects Colbalt, and does obeys its commands as well as its trainer's.
History: Houndoom was hatched to Cecil's mother, and lived as a companion pokemon until Cecil was old enough to begin training it to battle.

History: Its egg was given to Cecil by another traveler when she saw the youngster training in the ruins.

Personality: Thresher, despite his condescending name, is a very sweet pokemon who gets along with virtually anyone. Although it carries this kind demeanor, it is very fierce when it comes to battle, and hates to let its trainer down. It can get quite agitated or depressed when it loses a battle.
History: Back when Thresher was a small Gible, it had a very abusive owner. This previous trainer would force it to fight against very strong pokemon, and then would beat it when it lost. One day though, Cecil caught the abuser in the act, taking the Gible and reporting the criminal. Since then, Thresher has tried not to let its past haunt it, as it trains hard to impress its new, kind trainer.

Personality: Citrine is as happy as can be, typically traveling alongside, or on top of Cecil. Being as active and hyper as it is, the pokeball setting does not do it well. It is very social, and loves playing with other pokemon.
History: Soon after hatching from her egg to an eevee breeder, she ran away, but soon found her self surrounded by many stronger pokemon. Luckily, Cecil and his team showed up right on time and saved her. After their first meeting, Cecil could tell that she was a special pokemon, and, needing an electric partner on his team, gave her a thunderstone.

@Agil: I'd like at leats some explanation on how he got 3 mega stones. They're quite rare, at least, and the only trainers in the games that have them are pretty prominent figures. Though, if you do want to keep it, perhaps he could get the mega stones through some plots?
