Ah yep yep, I like to read otehr people's posts and proofread them and see what they do differently than I do. I've actually improved my own writing just doing rp replies, it's quite funny! Though I've started to graduate to show, not tell, in preparation for actual personal projects!

@Angel: sorry, not accepted. I require a trainer so someone can get a wild pokemon. That, and red dust isn't even in the game? Closest analog would be charcoal.

Name: Jake Kaido

Description: Standing at 5'6 Jake is about averange height with a slim but athletically toned body. Her long, dark brown hair is mostly straight except for a slight wave and flows down to her lower back, usually keeping it loose. Her skin is slightly tanned from the years of travelling and training and her eyes are emerald green in color. Her outfit consists of a scarlet tank top covered by an open black vest and black denim shorts. Black combat boots, gloves and a scarlet belt complete the look.

History: Jake was born and raised in Lavender Town located in the Kanto region. Her mother was a well known growlithe breeder and though she had never met her father, she was told he was a pokemon trainer travelling across the world. Uneffected about lacking a father figure she had a very blessed and happy childhood, growing up around her moms pokemon. One day when she was one year old her mom decided to introduced her to the newest batch of pups, who were only hatched a couple months ago. Setting Jake down among the group she left for a few minutes to grab a blanket, and when she came back she was surprised to find her daughter cuddling with a uniquely marked growlithe. After that one meeting the two were inseparable, unwilling to be parted from each other for more than a few minutes before putting up a fuss, Jake ended up naming the little growlithe Draco. As the years past Jake and Draco grew up together, always playing and exploring their hometown, occationally causing a few unintentional commotions. The two also started training together in secret at a young age when Jake began to understand exactly what a pokemon trainer was, deciding that she wanted to be one when she was old enough. By the time Jake turned 10, her and Draco were more than ready to start their journey together and by some stroke of luck she met Professor Oak who was researching the ghost pokemon Lavander Town was known for. After talking with him for a few days and helping him with his research, Professor Oak gifted her with a Charmander before he left. For eleven years she has been training and battling alonside her pokemon, defeating gyms and trainers as she traveled to the different regions and even though she is more than capable of fighting to become Champion, she chooses not to for reasons that are her own.

Appearance: Draco is larger than the average Arcanine standing at about 6'05" and weighing about 355 lbs. His coloring a little unique as he has black ears and toes to go along with his stripes.
History: Draco is Jake's very first Pokemon and has been by her side for almost all of her life, having the deepest connection with him because of their long history she refuses to keep him in his pokeball. Starting off the journey as a growlithe they faced many obsticals and battles together, gaining new friendships and rivals along the way. After seven years the pair were almost unbeatable as Draco had become quite strong but one fateful battle caused Draco to seek out the strength gained by evolving. Ever since evolving Draco never looked back, constantly training and enjoying his new abilities. Jake has taken a fondness to riding on his back as he sprints at impressive speeds, and his thick fur keeps her warm whether they are cuddling up on a cold night or climbing snowy mountains.

Appearance: Thorin stands at 5'11" and though his coloring is pretty average, his eyes are a beautiful forest green instead of blue like his kin.
History: Thorin was given to Jake as a Charmander just as she left to start her pokemon journey by Professor Oak. At first the two of them were a slightly at odds with each other, they had no trust between them and Thorin would ignore Jake when she tried to bond with him. This lasted for a few months and Jake was at a complete loss as to what to do. On a chilly night after a long day of travelling Jake and Draco made a fire on shore of a lake and she realeased Thorin from his pokeball like she did every evening, and like every evening he wandered off to do his own thing. A few hours later jake was setting up her sleepingbag when she heard Thorin cry out moments before a splash sounded from the lake. Rushing to the scene she was horrified to see her pokemon treading water beneath a rocky cliff. Without a second thought she jumped into the freezing water and swam, reaching him just as he stopped moving. Dragging the practically unconscious pokemon back to shore she noticed the flame on his tail was almost extinguished so she quickly stripped off her soaked vest and climed into the sleeping bag, hugging Thoring close to her damp chest next to the fire. Calling Draco over for extra warmth, she stayed up all night watching him and nursing him back to health. After that incident Thorin and Jake bonded deeply and Thorin grew strong and protective of his trainer.

Appearance: Levi's onyx fur is sleek and well groomed, his markings a vibrant dark blue that glow brilliantly at night.
History: Jake met Levi about six months into her journey. She had heard of a rumor about a grey coated Eevee that had been sighted living in the forest nearby, the townsfolk claim the lone pokemon had been rejected from it's group about five years previously. Curiosity piqued, Jake decided to investigate as she had never heard of an Eevee with grey fur before. After a few days of searching with no luck, Jake and the team began to feel discouraged and decided to continue on the next morning. As Jake was packing up the camp, Draco and Thorin heard a strange rustling sound not too far away. Deciding to check it out, the two fire pokemon followed the noise until they came upon an injured Eevee, the very same grey-furred Eevee they had been searching for the past couple days. Ignoring the feeble snarl aimed in his direction, Draco bent down and grabbed it's scruff, lifting hurt pokemon and dragging it to Jake who immediately began tending to it's wounds. Despite the fact that she now carried several bite marks inflicted by the disgruntled patient, she stayed another night in order to watch over the lone pokemon, telling him stories of her adventures with Draco and Thorin until her voice became hoarse. It was a slow process but eventually the Eevee she began calling Levi warmed up to her, even going so far as to curl up next to her and the other pokemon when they finally fell asleep. The next morning Jake checked Levi's injuries one more time and found them healing very nicely, so she told him that it was time for them to part ways but he suprised her by shaking his head and leaping into her arms, conveying his desire to join her team.

Appearance: Kili golden-white fur is thick and soft to the touch, though unlike his kin the ends of his nine tails are tipped dark orange instead of light orange.
History: (Okay I did a whole story on meeting Kili but it was deleted by the roleover so I will do the short version) Kili was kind of gifted to Jake as she was traveling through Mahogany Town in the Johto region. Jake had given up finding lodging after being turned down by every inn, tired after a long day of walking she decided to face another night under the stars so her and Draco began heading back to the forest. Just then an elderly lady kindly offered her a place to stay for the night and Jake happily accepted. When the group stepped through the door they were greeted by an excited Vulpix named Kili, who ended up attaching himself to Jake much to the lady's amusement. Later that evening Jake found herself on the floor surrounded by her pokemon, along with Kili who had followed her around the whole time. That was when the elderly woman informed Jake that Kili wasn't actually hers, just a houseguest until he found the right person, and that she hoped Jake would consent to be that person for Kili. Of course Jake eagerly agreed and offered the little Vulpix a home with her, who accepted the invitation immediately without even a hint of hesitance, becoming the fourth member of Jake's team.

Appearance: Kuro's armour covered body stands just over four feet and his scythe like arms are always razor sharp. His eyes are a unsual honey-gold color.
History: Jake caught Kuro near Oreburgh City in the Sinnoh region. Kuro was the first pokemon Jake had caught using force, but she really had no choice as the abandoned pokemon was attacking anyone who attempted to enter or exit the city through the north entrance. She had even evesdropped on a couple of people who were discussing unpleasent means to remove the enraged pokemon and Jake just couldn't allow it, so she took it upon herself to catch the Kabuto. Knowing Draco, Thorin and Kili would be weak against the rock/water pokemon she chose the newly evolved Levi to assist her in the capture. It was a pretty short battle as Levi had much more training and experience, knocking the Kabuto out within three attacks so that Jake could easily catch it with her pokeball. After she got the injured pokemon healed at the Pokemon Center, her and Draco found a quiet place to sit, releasing her team from their pokeballs as she usually did whenever it was possible. Looking around for a brief moment, Kabuto immediately walked up and stared at her with his eerie red eyes, waiting for Jake to make a move. Kneeling down so that she was closer to his level, she cautiously placed a gentle hand on the hard shell covering his back, asking him to remain and become part of her team. After some careful consideration Kabuto accepted, placing his tattered trust in her hands not knowing the strong bond they share in the future.
