Xiva | Female | 8mo. | Apprentice She glanced around for the one who could be sparring with her, figuring that she'd be last to be paired once again. Even though she was one of the older apprentices, Xiva wasn't too sure where she'd end up once she moved up from an apprentice. Being the new Zeta would be cool, sure, but due to her mixed bloodline, she wasn't quite expecting that, so being a Royal Guard would be the next best thing. Xiva snapped back to reality, returning to glancing at the others and attempting to come up with strategies against each wolf, considering her physique, that's what she'd need to prove herself. ![]() |

Wendigo | Male | 6 months | Delta/Apprentice Wendigo shot up from his seated position and bounced across the lineup, ignoring his brothers and sisters entirely. "Xiva!," he chirped amiably, "You wanna be my partner?" He wanted to fight the older apprentice; show his worth to Uncle Kerrin. Maybe the beta would even put in a good word to Kenai for him. ![]() Edited on 14/10/16 @ 09:07:23 by InsertCleverNameHere (#36227) |

Xiva | Female | 8mo. | Apprentice (Undeclared) "Are you sure you wouldn't want a bigger challenge?" She asked, in shock that someone actually picked her to spar with. At that point, it really had nothing to do with her bloodline, but her physical strength was rather laughable, seeing as she was easily taken down in contests of brute strength. In order for her to take him down, she'd probably have to incapacitate one or more of his legs and pin him with her jaws around his neck, but that'd involve hurting him, and as Wendigo was a packmate, she really wasn't too keen on getting in trouble with the Betas and Alphas. ![]() |

Wendigo | Male | 6 months | Delta/Apprentice & Carolina | Female | 6 months | Apprentice Wendigo wagged his fluffy white tail and dropped his front end in a play bow, his long snout wide open in a grin. "You're older! C'mon, let's go!," he yipped, bouncing back up to prance around the fellow cub. He halted and stared at a smaller, lithe red wolf as she strode over, carefully placing her long legs in the grass and stone. "Git your own partner, Carolina," he barked, "I already picked Xiva!" "Wen, go spar with one of your siblings. I think Xiva needs someone more her body type," the red wolf offered, looking at the light gray apprentice with shining amber eyes. "But... Uncle Kerrin! Caro's trying to steal my partner!" Kerrin looked over the three cubs for a moment before rolling his eyes, "Wendigo. Go spar with one of your siblings." Wendigo looked at his beta with a shocked, almost betrayed expression before stomping off. Carolina looked to Xiva with a smug face, "You wouldn't want to fight him. He'd crush anyone just by sitting on them." ![]() |

Xiva | Female | 8mo. | Apprentice (Undeclared) "I think anyone would crush me." She responded with a short but quiet laugh. "Well, actually, I like to think I'm better with the more tactical side of things, but in order to carry those out, I would have to hurt you in sparring. Which, of course, I'd really not like to do." Xiva sighed, "Although, if I were to do that, I think I would have taken down Wendigo pretty easily. He seemed pretty smug and sure about beating me, which I think would be a disadvantage." ![]() |

Carolina | Female | 6 months | *Tenderfoot* "Yeah. Try not to do that. Beta Kerrin might get mad," Carolina said, "And then he'll have you fight him, and it'll all go downhill from there." She sat and bent her head down and lifted a back leg, scratching behind her ear where an odd itch arose. "At least that'll be helpful whenever we have to fight Duskfall. According to the conversations I've heard between Kerrin and my Mom, those wolves can get full of themselves." ![]() |

Xiva | Female | 8mo. | Apprentice "Exactly." She chuckled, "From what i hear, they're pretty cocky." Xiva sat down, still ready to pounce in case Carolina attempted to try sparring while she was somewhat relaxed. She already lost pretty frequently, and wasn't too keen on losing a spar yet again. ![]() |

Angeles | Female | 7yrs | Zeta Angeles groaned as she woke to the noisey commotion of pups hurting her ears, that combined with the her lack of sleep had started the making of a very grumpy female. With a small sigh and stretch the Zeta left her den, looking at some pups in agitation as she made her way to the water for a drink. "How their parents put up with it is a mystery to me." She mumbled to herself before taking a few refreshing laps at the water below. (Wasn't really sure how to start) ![]() |

Ayame/Tundra | 2m/4yrs | Female | Mentions: Each other Two shadowy black figures walked calmly through the mountains, one small figure struggling to keep up with the older female's pawsteps. Occasionally the mother wolf would stop to allow her puppy to catch up, and once the tiny thing was by her side, she'd begin walking under the heat again. Both wolves' tongues were hanging out of their mouths, the puppy completely parched. "I smell water," Tundra, the mother wolf, stopped to sniff the air. -short- ![]() |

Angeles | Female | 7yrs | Zeta | mentions: Tundra & Ayame Angeles paused her drinking as her ears moved in the direction of pawsteps, lifting her muzzle to the sky she caught two scents she hadn't smelt before and immediately knew they weren't from her pack. She took a glance around before heading down further down stream, towards the two scents. She knew she should've informed the packs alpha but it was only two scents, "plus it's not like I can't handle this. " She thought out lot as she spotted two figures up ahead. ![]() |

Tundra/Ayame | Female | 2m/4yrs | Loner | Mentions: Angeles Tundra paused, the familiar scent of Sunrise floating in her nostrils. She'd been going in circles! She had wanted to get as far away from pack territory, but ended up coming right back. She frowned and looked down at her small daughter, Ayame. The two-month old she-wolf looked up at her mother and Tundra sighed, examining the puppy's fragile body. Prey had become scarce, and it was rare that they found water that didn't belong to a pack. The silky black wolf felt her heart clench and she knelt down, picking her puppy up by the scruff and cautiously padding down to the lake. Her blue eyes were fixed on the pack wolf watching them. ![]() |

Angeles | Female | 7yrs | Zeta | mentions: Tundra & Ayame Angeles watched with a low growl as the mothers movement stilled, clearly recognizing that she was somewhere she shouldn't be. Her attention momentarily went to the pup by her side, noticing it's size before going back to the mother. Never one to like outsiders Angeles moved in closer to the pair. Today would be the mothers lucky day, though she despised pups she would never go as far as to leave one motherless. She was mean but she had a heart, cautiously she stepped closer. She may not like leaving a pup defenseless without it's mother but that didn't mean she wouldn't defend herself if the mother chose to attack. ![]() |

Tundra/Ayame | Female | 4yrs/2mths | Mentions: Angeles The raven she-wolf allowed her pup to lap at the cool water in front of her, Tundra's blue eyes locked on the stranger wolf that stank with the Sunrise scent. She lashed her tail as a simple greeting, one paw over her growing puppy's small form. Tundra flicked her ears as Ayame lifted her head to look at the other wolf. Apache | Male | 10 weeks | Mentions: N/A Apache couldn't travel anymore, he couldn't track his mother's scent any longer. It'd faded away and he'd been led to another strange scent, his wolf-part his mother told him about detected that it was several wolves with the many scents overflowing his nose. The white fluff-ball pinned his ears back and whimpered, wondering if the wolves were territorial Rachel | Female | 7yrs | Mentions: N/A (loners) Rachel lay on the ground whimpering in pain as the group of wolves that had attacked her hovered over her weak body, she didn't have the guts to hurt any of the wolves, but she knew she could fight back. She'd been a loner for nearly five years, there had been times where she did have to fight for her life. The wolf-looking husky raised her head weakly as the group of loners padded off, cackling loudly and annoyingly. Rachel huffed and sat up, watching them leave. ![]() |
