Masters. They have been around for many years, keeping out of the eyes of the human. To humans, a Master appears as any other human being. They simply have powers beyond those of normal humans. Then, Masters were discovered many, many years ago. Because of this, they were each given an animal to protect them once powers developed. This animal was called a Guardian. These Guardian's are always larger than their normal counterparts unless the animal is already fairly large as normal. Masters and Guardians were each given a crystal that matched. This was their connection; Masters and Guardians can speak to each other. But no Master can speak to a Guardian that is not his own, but Guardians can understand all humans. Shortly after the creating of the Guardians, different schools were made. Just a few in the entire country. Here Masters trained to better their powers, and learn to fight with their Guardian in battle. But, again the humans found the Masters. Much was done to conceal their identities, but nothing worked. The government waged war. All schools were set to be destroyed. The government succeeded. In most schools, everyone was killed. But at one, two Masters and two Guardians made it out alive. This is their journey. {{I'm gonna post my girl in the character sheets thread! You can post yours there as wel}} Character SheetsView and Post Character Sheets0 players like this post! Like? Adysin Crawford | Female | 19 | Force Field (idk if we have to do this but it seems kind of empty with out it xD) The morning after the destroying of the boarding school Adysin called home for the last three years, Adysin lay in what was left of the dorm rooms. Half of the wall was ripped away, but at least one bed still stood by the opposite wall. The missing wall left a large window through which she could look out over the courtyard and past the boarding school. It was such a beautiful scene, yet this morning it filled her with no joy. Instead of the usual stoned yard and water fountain in the middle, there were many bodies layering the ground. From this distance, she couldn't tell what who they were, but she knew that she wouldn't have the heart to go check it out. For the second time in her life she was left with no home and practically no family. The first time she had lost her parents and her siblings, and now she had lost all her mentors and her friends. Well, she assumed. She actually had no idea if anyone was still alive, the only reason she had survived was because her power made it extremely difficult for her to be killed, though not impossible. Adysin lay still for a while, staring through the wall and fighting with tears. Lifting herself to a sitting position, Addie swung her legs over the side of the half bed and stood up. She glanced around, taking in all of the rubble that was surrounded her. Next to the bed lay Adamaris, who lifted her head when Adysin rose to her feet. "Good morning, Mar." Adysin murmured, running her hand along the wolf's head. Stepping out of the ruble, she walked around towards the courtyard, "Hello?" she called out, hoping that there was at least someone out there. Adamaris followed her from where she had been laying, protecting her the whole night. Every time anything stirred outside, Mar had let out a threatening growl. When no one answered, Adysin felt a tear roll down her cheek. Mumbling in annoyance to herself, she wiped it away. Without realizing it, Adamaris had lead her towards the library, which had been her favorite room in the school. Noticing that they were close to the library, Adysin felt herself feel dread. She didn't want to see the beautiful room ripped to shreds, the beautiful glass paintings broken. Instead, she just stood in front of the library, wiping a tear away once in a while, too confused and afraid to know which direction to go. 0 players like this post! Like? |

ooc: I gotta come up with my own code thing that you do xD Adysin Crawford | Female | 19 | Force Field It wasn't Adysin that heard the sound first, it was Adamaris. The white wolfs head shot up, her lips peeling back in a snarl. This caught Adysin's attention and she turned in the direction that Mar was staring. Feeling rather motherly, Addie cooed softly to the growling wolf, kneeling down next to her. "Don't worry, I'm sure it's nothing," Adysin said softly, stroking the thick neck fur of the large wolf. But it did not calm the her, instead her icy blue eyes narrowed and the growl in her throat began to raise in pitch. Suddenly she was overwhelmed with the feeling of love. Adamaris was the last thing on earth that she loved, everyone she loved seemed to leave her, except her Guardian. Deciding to leave Mar to her growling, she turned back towards the Library and grabbed for the giant handle of the equally as giant door. They were quite impressive, looming up at around ten feet, at least. She was about to open the door when she heard a creak and then several coughs. Freezing in her spot, she debated what to do. Hiding wasn't worth it, since there was nothing to hide in. Confronting this person could serve itself as either dangerous or heartbreaking, since she had watched most of her friends fall around her. She knew it couldn't be someone she knew very well. Deciding to check it out anyway, Adysin turned and allowed Adamaris lead the way, something she tended to do often. Wolves were very territorial, and the great white wolf was super protective of her Master. To Adysin it was rather charming, so she gave in to her ways. Mar lead them towards a corner where that she knew very well. It was a storage room in which Adysin had taken some of her flings to have some alone time, even though it was usually just a one time thing. When she got closer, she could see a large, larger than Admaris, Snow Leopard and rather small girl standing next to her fishing for something in what looked like to be a bag. Stopping in her tracks she just stared at them, not sure what to do. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Adysin Crawford | Female | 19 | Force Field Adysin watched them with a blank expression, her arms crossing over her chest, something that she tended to do a lot. Her face was blank in order to protect herself from any emotions that this girl may ignite within her, whether it be hope, fear or disappointment. Adamaris narrowed her eyes at the Snow Leopard, a louder and more aggressive growl emitting from deep in her throat. "I don't trust them." Adamaris said, her voice rather high, due to nerves. Although Zayden was very impressive standing taller than Adysin, she couldn't help but stare at the girl. She was tiny compared to her large Guardian, but her neon green hair tips were eye catching and striking for anyone walking by her. It was obvious to Adysin that this girl had been part of the boarding school, although her face was unfamiliar to her. Adysin continued to stare at her, as though she didn't know how to speak to someone in English anymore, that she only remembered her native tongue. When the girl held her water bottle defensively, Adysin's eyes narrowed in suspicion, her eyes now on the water bottle. "Platz." she spoke softly to Adamaris. The wolf looked up at her and let out a low whine, before obeying and laying down next to her Master. "What does it matter who I am? What matters is if there are any other survivors." she spoke, her thick German accent(couldn't resist xD) floating across the room towards the other girl. Adysin ran her eyes over the girl, seeing that she had no scrapes and scratches to match her own wounds, which were open again, fresh blood dripping over the already dried blood covered arm. "How did you get out without any wounds?" she then asked, her voice full of suspicious. ooc: when you learn how to do that you should make me one xD 0 players like this post! Like? |

ooc: Yes like that!! xD and it is a little bit hard for me to read lol Adysin is giving her a hard time xD Adysin | Female | 19 | Force Field The second that the girl stepped forward, Adamaris leaped to her paws and let out a snarl, her hackles raising and her icy eyes narrowed threateningly. She took a step in front of Adysin, her position threatening and protective. Rolling her eyes, Adysin took a step forward and kneeled next to her wolf, whispering "Please, Mar, Platz!" When the wolf finally obeyed, although there was still a grumble in her throat, Adysin looked up at the girl again. "Sorry, she's rather protective." she apologized. When the other words the girl said settled in, her eyes flashed momentarily with anger before she pushed it down. "You mean to tell me that you spent the whole day in that room while everyone else died and fought?" Adysin spoke, her teeth gritted as she tried to control her anger. As the small girl offered to heal her wounds, Adysin took an instinctive step back, a guarded look crossing her face, "I don't know if that's a good idea." she stated, lifting her hands up in a gesture to stop her. 0 players like this post! Adysin Crawford | Female | 19 | Force Field When the news about the death of everyone sunk into the girls mind, Adysin could see her face scrunch up with the realization. She could see tears at the corners of the girls eyes and she huffed, turning away uncomfortably. The one thing that Adysin couldn't handle, was when girls cried around her, it made her feel awkward because she couldn't do anything to comfort them. When her back to the girl, she looked down what used to be a magnificent hall, the walls flanked with torches, giving the school an old medieval feel. "From what I can tell, we are the only ones alive." she said, Adysin's back still facing Ryder. "I don't know about you, but I'm getting out of here. It's depressing and there's nothing we can do here." she added, beginning to walk down the corridor, towards the archway that lead to the courtyard. Adysin stopped abruptly and turned towards the wall, where she could still see carvings on the wall that she and her friends had made. Overwhelmed with sadness, she took her fist and slammed it against the wall, by accident summoning her force field, which sent her flying backwards when it connected with the wall. Letting out a loud curse, she fell into rubble. Laying there for a moment, she looked up at the ceiling, allowing a silent tear to roll down her cheek before she stubbornly wiped it away. Composing herself once more she turned towards Ryder, who was now a good couple of yards away from her, "I'm going to get my stuff and then I'm going to leave, I'm sure the government is going to send people to search the place to make sure everyone's dead." 0 players like this post! Adysin Crawford | Female | 19 | Force Field At the offer the girl made, Adysin stopped dead in her tracks and turned around to stare at her. Her skeptical gaze ran over her body, taking in her small form. By the looks of it, she didn't seem very strong and she seemed like she would slow Adysin down. Not only was she small, but she seemed to be skinny as well. Not like Adysin who had the muscles to compliment her height. Staring at her like this gave her a better look than what she had gotten before. She was so short that Adysin really had to tilt her head down just to be able to look her right in the eyes. Everything in her heart wanted to turn Ryder down, but she felt as though it wouldn't be fair to her. She had been part of the boarding school, and leaving her here would certainly mean she would die a slow and ugly death. "You're a waterbender right?” she paused to gesture towards the water bottle that was still clamped in her hands, “Do you have a weapon of choice, because there's no way I'm letting you come along without a weapon of some sort." Adysin knew she was being rather harsh, but she didn't want to put her and her Gaurdians life on the line for this girl. Adamaris let out a soft whine next to her, pressing her head against her Master’s head, comforting the both of them 0 players like this post! Like? |
