Aaron nodded in return, not really willing to try the whole waving thing at the moment. He waited for her to turn around and get a good distance away from him before starting to follow her again. He figured if she caught him, he could just play it off that he was a new tenant. Coincidence? Of course, Maia.

He snorted at himself before tilting his head up to see her stopping and holding her shoulder, and a frown crossed his face as he quickly ascended the remaining stairs and rested a hand on her good shoulder gently, "You need to go to the hospital, Maia."

Maia was about to continue up the stairs when she felt a gentle hand reston her good shoulder, and she turned to see Aaron behind her on the stairs. She was a little confused as to why he was behind her, but she had a feeling he was right. She probably did need to go. Sighing, she slightly leaned against the the wall of the staircase. "You are probably right. I was just going to ice it, but I think,it might need more attention than that." Maia layed her head back before sighing again saying quieter than before, "Why did this have to happen today?"

Aaron removed his hand from her shoulder when she leaned against the wall, and he put his hands in the pockets of his jacket. He nodded, and before he could think he said, "I can help you, if you want." He had to resist slapping his forehead after he said it, but now he was committed so he didn't try to take back his statement. When he heard her question, he had to refrain from answering, because he would have said things that he really shouldn't know if he was just a stranger who was trying to help her.

When Aaron spoke and said he could help, she asked, "You mean help get me to the hospital?" If that was what he meant, she thought that was sweet. "If you want to, that would be great. But I don't want to inconvenience you any more than I have." She looked at him carefully, trying to fight the urge go sit down.

He nodded, "That is what I meant." He stopped himself before he could apologize for the ambiguity of his words, thinking that she may not understand that. He shrugged, "It is no problem. I am not going to be... inconvenienced at all." He then took her elbow in his hand and gently tugged her off of the wall, and led her down the stairs and to outside, where he paused, "Where is the inf-- hospital?" He almost said infirmary; he was going to kick himself later.

Maia was a little surprised when he took her elbow in his hand, and she followed him down the stairs. When he stopped, and asked where the hospital was, she pointed to the main road. "You turn right on the main road, and then it is about fifteen minutes away. We could maybe call a car, or we could walk."

Aaron looked in the direction she pointed, and listened to her directions. He was about to start walking, but when she suggested a car he had second thoughts about that. It wouldn't bother him at all, but with Maia injured that may not be the best idea. He nodded, and released her arm from his grasp, "That is probably a better idea."

Aaron seemed to be debating on what to do. He must have made up his mind, and released her arm. She reached for her bag on her shoulder and pulled out her phone. Maia found the number, she sent the agency a text with the address and they responded and said they would be here soon. She watched him from where she stood, absently rubbing her arm. "Are you nee to town?"

Aaron once again found himself staring at her phone when she used it, and he even ducked his head slightly to see what she was typing--how she was typing. He quickly turned away and looked at another building when she was finished, and he turned back to face her at her inquiry, "I am, yes." He hoped she wouldn't ask about his accent.

Maia waited for his reply, hoping she hadn't pushed too much. When he responded, she nodded and said, "I was just asking because you didn't know where the hospital was. Not that some people who have lived here for years don't know where it is, but it was just a hunch." She ran her hand through her hair, wondering if she should call April and tell her to meet her at the hospital. April was the type to want to be in the loop.

Aaron looked at her again when she began to speak, and he vaguely wondered what a hunch was before he nodded. He frowned slightly when she ran a hand through her hair, and he immediately assumed it was a nervous gesture and had to refrain from inquiring about what was wrong. He turned his attention back to the street as he leaned back against the building again, crossing his arms as he waited.

After a few minutes of waiting, a silver car pulled up and came to a stop in the street. Maia had begun slowly pacing but stopped when it had came, and she cast a look at Aaron before heading to the car. "You ready to go, Aaron?"

Aaron watched this so-called car pull up to them, and as he saw it he realized that he was going to make a total fool of himself right now. He nodded at her, but then waited for her to get in, playing it off as acting gentlemanly.

Maia acknowledged his nod, and opened the back door and climbed to the other side so he wouldn't have to walk around. Sitting against her shoulder was uncomfortable, but she tried her best to keep the pain off her face when she sat. Her thoughts wandered back to April, and she decided to call April after she kbew exactly what damage had been done to her back and shoulder.

"Where to, Miss?" The driver of the car asked where they wanted to go, and Maia replied in a slightly strained voice.

"The LA Hospital please."

Aaron followed her into the car, and he looked around the car for a moment until the driver spoke. He looked out the window as Maia responded, then he turned to look at her, as he was practically feeling the waves of pain coming off of her, and he kept a close eye on her expression and body language as the driver of this car took them to the hospital. Not that he knew what he was going to do when they got there.
