Wild horses roam the land, running through the lushes green to dusty brown grasses, giant, woolly mammoths wander about, drinking from the crystal clear, blue waters. Wallowing through rives and streams. Deer, yum... deer - The king of the pride, stalks his prey, it was doomed from the moment he lay eyes on it. His fur and muscles rippled in the breeze, he put the pressure onto his haunches before launching himself forward, wrapping his huge paws around the poor deer's back, carefully placing his sabers between the neck bones of the creature, breaking the nerve connection, the animal quickly dropped to the ground and that was that. In this roleplay we're the sabertoothed cats! There are pride roles and duties that must be completed to stay in the safety of the pride. Rules. You CAN die and you CAN kill, but if it's going to affect another player then pm me and the other player about it first! Everyone has to agree on it too. . Hunts must be Okayed by the king or queen first! . No god-modding/ seriously affecting anyone's character without permission! (You can try to attack, but the one being attacked decides if it hits! You can't dodge every time though...) . Stick to lioden rules! . If you read this write chicken nuggets in your other section! . You cannot breed without asking first! . Don't hate the player, stay in character! . No short posts! Pride StatusesOur characters will be designed using the lioden wardrobe! males will have the primal look (once it's added) females will have different looks depending on their ranks! Nova // Densite // Cub Nova was a bit surprised when he raised his paw to introduce himself. And she got very embarrassed when he asked her for her own. "I'm sorry, not used to introducing myself" she explained "I'm Nova" She looked at him a bit longer smiling. "Don't worry about not being able to talk much, as long as you can understand us your fine. But for basic communication sake: Mewling once means yes and mewling twice means no. Of course, you can try saying those words too. You were able to learn your name, so why not other words? But even if it stays with the one we can still communicate with body language" She took a deep breath "Now the more important thing: What do you wanna do? Play a game? sleep? You're the first lion of my age around and honestly, I need to stop talking I don't I've ever talked this much before. He knew what sleep was, but playing a game was something he'd never heard of. That didn't seem like it... "Oh, right. I'd guess you haven't played any games yet, huh? I didn't know what that meant either a while ago. A game can be anything you think is fun. Chasing leaves, chasing each other. Playfighting, playing pretend so I pretend I'm a hyena and you have to get rid of me somehow. Uhm.. We can bat stones or bones back and forth with our paws. Maximus|Cub|Densite|Mentions - Nova He nodded slowly as she explained what play was, but all of it sounded so physical, and he just didn't know if his own body could handle that sort of strain. As much as he wanted to play with Nova, he didn't think he could, the walk over here alone had wore him out pretty good as it was. The thought of not being able to play upset little Max, his ears drooping as he stared down at his paws. He wanted to, bit didn't think he could yet, and knowing he couldn't tell Nova that upset him even further. But after several short moments of thought he made up his mind, he would play until he couldn't. Leaping to his paws he looked around before lightly batting at Nova's ear and bounding away a few paces, turning and lowering down into a playful crouch, waiting for Nova to chase after him. 0 players like this post! Due to the commotion Xylia had awoken, after awhile of trying to block t out of course. She stalked it of the nursery, seeing 2 cubs talking.. Or rather one talking and one mewling. She sat nearby, knowing that sparring or playing could help her later in life. Her amber eyes watched the two cubs. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The king half watched the land around, but also kept an interested eye towards the cubs, he felt like maybe pointing to objects and naming them would be a good point to start at, or at each lion and naming them. Max seemed to understand pointing at himself and saying his name meant that he was Max. But the king wanted to see how Nova would handle it first. She seemed to be doing well. The king understood that Max probably didn't understand the difference between many good and bad things yet, he would have to be taught that. He doesn't want to take max on a hunt and him go off chasing a wholly rhino... It's not like he had ever done anything like that in his youth. 0 players like this post! Like? |

She hadn't explored much since the day she had found Nova; she was starting to become restless with being cooped up in the den but she'd rather stick with her cubs. After surveying the densite, the lioness padded over to where Apheral was sitting, while the cubs entertained themselves. "How has your day been so far, dear?" She purred the question as she gracefully sat beside him. Hilaria | Dens | Queen Seeing everyone leave, Hilaria quickly stumbled out of the den with loud meows. She was not thrilled to be left alone and wanted to be where every lion was at. Taking a look around, she walked over to where Xylia and the rest of the cubs were playing. Nova // Densite // Cub Nova nearly fell over in surprise at the sudden contact of the male lion's paw against her ear. He bounded away and lowered himself into a playful position. So he understood what playing was now, cool! Nova jumped up nearly tried pouncing on him before remembering his weak state. "If you get tired just say so, I'm sure we can find a game that involves less moving around" Deciding he looked steady enough for now she started running at him, making sure she wasn't fast enough to hurt him in case of a collision. 0 players like this post! Maximus|Cub|Densite|Mentions - Nova Max was just barely able to dodge Nova as she ran at him, but he managed to trip over his own paws in the process and promptly flopped over with a small squeak of surprise. He landed on his without barely a sound, a testament to the pathetic state of his body, it was a miracle he was even alive right now. But Maximus lived up to his name, and was quickly fumbling back to his paws, spinning around to face Nova before starting to run towards her. He didn't make it very far though and soon had to stop, his legs shaking with the effort of holding his meager weight up and chest heaving from the effort of having ran those few feet. His head hung down as he gasped for breath, his back legs giving out and sending him plopping down onto his rear, an apologetic look crossing his face as he looked up at Nova. Nova // Densite // Cub Nova felt bad instantly when the Maximus' paws gave out. When he looked up at her it just got worse. "Don't worry, we can play something else. How about you climb on my back and I can carry you around here. You could show me where to go and see everything there is to see here. Or maybe I can tell you about things you don't get. You could point at them or maybe make paw motions or try to scratch them into the ground. Or you could go sleep, I can try to tell you a good night story or something?" Maximus|Cub|Densite|Mentions - Nova He had originally wanted to play with Nova, but even after such a short amount of time moving around as he did, all he wanted to do now was lay down and rest. When she rubbed her cheek against him he let out a raspy purr, returning the gesture with a smile before gesturing to the inside of the den. He tried to push himself up to stand, but his back legs just wouldn't support his weight and they slipped out from under him once again. This time the action received a soft growl from the malnourished cub, his ears pinning back against his head as he glared down at the ground between his front paws, 'I'm just pathetic... I should have just been left out there to die...' It was a grim thought for such a young cub, but it upset him that he couldn't do what Nova could. Yes it was irrational, Nova was in far better shape than he was, better taken care of and such. Max had been surviving off of grasshoppers and beetles nearly his whole life, for as long as he could remember he'd always been practically skin and bones. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thinking back to a time that was luckily long in the past she winced at the thoughts he would likely have right now. She looked to the den and back to him considering her options. She didn't want to drag or carry him, that would've made her feel worse in his situation. So instead she stood next to him and carefully pressed against him to support his body into a standing position. "Do you think you'll be able to make it if I support you?" 0 players like this post! When the inevitable question of if he could make it or not arose, he looked between the den and his front paws, taking everything he felt at the moment into consideration. Nova // Densite // Cub Nova considered the male cub for a few seconds before she slowly began to move. He was definitely shaky and she hoped he wasn't overestimating himself. She felt his ribs against her sides and it brought back memories she was quick to shove back into the back of her mind. Hopefully in a few days, with good food and a lot of rest, the other cub would feel much better. She looked to the den trying to estimate how long it would take to get there before she turned her gaze to the ground and made sure to steer away from holes and big stones. 0 players like this post! Maximus|Cub|Densite|Mentions - Nova The first few steps went smoothly, not trips or stumbles, just slow steps towards his end goal. His eyes constantly flickered between the den and the ground in front of him, he was tracking their slow progress for the first few moments. Soon though his eyes shifted over to Nova and he gave her a smile as a tank you for helping him out, he knew she had wanted play with him so badly, but he hadn't been able to and now she had to help him back to then den because of it. He felt guilty, but he knew he couldn't change the situation he was in, he could only try to make things better, and so with that thought in mind, and quite literally nothing else, Max turned his head and softly licked Nova's cheek and mewled softly. 0 players like this post!
