He turned his head to the side when Mark finally realized they were being serious, not wanting to look her father in the eye. He knew they shouldn't have told her parents, it was a bad idea to begin with. He swallowed hard when he noticed Kelsie nodding, and curled his fingers into her shirt.

"Dad you don't understand, Damiaan isn't-" She started but was cut off when her father suddenly stood up and pushed her off of Damiaan, grabbing the kid by the collar. Out of the blinding anger, Mark threw Damiaan on the ground and looked around for anything wooden and sharp..

Damiaan yelped quietly when Kelsie's father grabbed his shirt, so shocked he couldn't even really retaliate at all. He probably wouldn't have anyway, since it was her dad, but as far as he could tell the man was extremely pissed off... Hardly a surprise, and Damiaan probably would have shoved him off, not hard enough to hurt the man, but he hit his head on the ground pretty hard, so he was rather stunned...

Damiaan was about to push him off when he felt something sharp and metal against his neck, and he froze, holding his breath. He started breathing again after just a few seconds, when he realized that breathing wasn't going to make him die faster, and he just looked at Mark, not sure what to say, mostly because he had a feeling anything he did say would just make the man madder.

"No!" Kelsie got up from the floor and shoved, harder than she had meant to, her dad off of Damiaan but not before the blade was imbeded in Damiaan's side. "Oh god." She was glad that her dad wasnt hurt, just very shocked from the shove but as she looked back down at Damiaan, she noticed the knife was too close to his heart...what if he died even though it wasn't wooden?

Damiaan rolled onto his side when the weight of Kelsie's father was off of him, a deep ache already spreading through his chest and side. He could feel the blood on his shirt... He heard Kelsie say something, but the words didn't even register, nothing was really registering anymore, his chest hurt, it was hard to breathe... He coughed a little, probably sounding like he was dying... which might not be too far from the truth.

"Oh god Damiaan..." Kelsie knelt down where he was laying down with a concerned and scared expression on her face. "I have to pull the blade out, you won't heal other wise." She noticed her dad just sitting there, still shocked, probably because he just stabbed a man and that's not normal for a lawyer.

Damiaan curled up a little tighter into himself, but stopped moving when everything he did just made the pain worse. Kelsie's words didn't even register, so he didn't give her a response at all. He just laid there, on the ground, bleeding to death, not even caring about anything... He wasn't really capable of thinking, though, so that wasn't anything new.

"I'm sorry..." She tried not to pay attention to the blood staining his shirt heavily as she wrapped her fingers around the handle of the knife and pulled it out in one swift motion. She cringed when she heard the ripping of skin and got up to get multiple cloths before putting one over the wound, "Will blood help you heal faster?" Kelsie thought that maybe if he fed off her or something, it would help him heal from the gaping hole in his side.

He flinched when he felt the knife moving in his side, groaning a little before digging his fingers into the fabric of his shirt. Strangely, the only thought that occurred to him at the moment was that he was getting blood on the floor, and he began to wonder if he should clean it up. He tried to move again, but as usual it only made everything hurt more, so he just flopped back onto the floor, still not really hearing anything. He heard Kelsie say something about blood, but he just assumed she was talking about the fact that he was bleeding, so he just mumbled something about cleaning it up later, not that she really would have understood what he said at all.

"Damiaan, talk to me, you're scaring me right now." Kelsie kept her hand on the cloth, still pressing down firmly. "Do you need blood?"

Damiaan mumbled something incoherent again, and lifted one of his hands to touch Kelsie's fingers, finding a little bit of comfort in the contact. He knew he was in trouble, his brain was functioning enough for him to realize that, and he was also lucid enough to know that blood wouldn't really help, he didn't think anything would.
