"Good that you're feeling better." Evan tucked his hands in his pockets and gave the two another smile before walking towards the door again, turning around momentarily to say his good bye, "Just checking up on you guys, I already went for a good ride this morning so I won't be joining you." Then he waved and stepped out of the stables. By that time, Kelsie had gotten everything she needed on the horse, already leading the massive creature out of the stall.

He smiled again and gave a slight nod, and watched Evans all out before turning to see what Kelsie was doing, frowning and hurrying to saddle up Onyx before she left him behind. He led the stallion out of the stall, keeping a gentle hand on the reins, then turning to look at her, "So where are we going?"

"There's a trail we can ride on about a kilometer away from here, if I'm being honest, we can just ride to that trail instead of walking the horses there." That's what she remembered doing all the time, riding to the trail and going through it a few times before they would come back and wind down for the day.

He nodded, and led Onyx out of the stable so he could mount up without hitting his head on the roof, "Think you can ride well enough for that?" Now yay he was on the horse, he pretty much felt like he could remember everything now, even after more than one hundred years of not riding at all.

"It's only been a few years..." Kelsie shrugged and mounted Chestnut before leading the horse towards the trail, "The question is, do you remember how to ride." She was going slow at first, just making sure she had time to adjust and same goes for Damiaan.

He nodded a little, and followed Kelsie, the black stallion plodding along obediently, "Pretty sure I do, actually, which is pretty surprising." He smiled a little, leaning forward to pat the horse's neck.

"Well it must've been muscle memory of sorts." She laughed and looked back at Damiaan for a bit before making the horse go a bit faster until it was trotting slowly, but not walking any longer. Kelsie wanted to go faster towards the trail but still wasn't confident enough to do so.

As per usual, Damiaan sped up when she did, still riding alongside, "Well, I did it so much when I was younger... I'd have been sad if I forgot." He could tell he was already perfectly comfortable on the back of a horse still, but he wasn't going to go charging off at a gallop of Kelsie wasn't ready for that.

"Yea, it would've been sad." Kelsie eventually had the horse going at a fast speed, feeling comfortable enough to do so, she remembered why she missed horseback riding so much, it was so...exhilarating. "It looks like neither of us had fallen off!" She had to say this part louder so her voice would carry.

Damiaan smiled, and nodded a little, still keeping pace with her. Onyx, of course, being the thoroughbred that he was, was tense and wanted to run, but he would have to go without that for a while. He laughed at Kelsie's shout, and responded with, "We'll see how long that lasts!"

Kelsie laughed and eventually had the horse running, letting out a yelp of joy as the wind blasted through her hair. "This feels amazing!" She yelled again, still laughing at the feeling.

He smiled as she seemed very happy, but then he started to get a little worried that she would fall off, just a little worried. But he didn't want to ruin her fun, so he just kept an eye on how stable she looked while they rode.

Kelsie finally came to a stop when they reached the trail and looked back at Damiaan, "I suggest we go at a gallop through this, I haven't done it in a while."

Damiaan reined in as well, and laughed at her words, "If you haven't done it in a while shouldn't we not go at a gallop?"

"I used to be going at full speed through this, like full speed, in fact I would race against my parents sometimes." Kelsie looked at the path, it was wide enough for two horses to run comfortably beside each other. "It's not that unstable of a path, one thing for sure is that you can't die at any part, even as a human."
