Kelsie scrunched up her nose in thought, but eventually shrugged, "He's not the same guy I know from before, I don't know what he's capable of anymore and not to mention he's a vampire now. For all I know he could be plotting a horrible death for me..."

He frowned at her words, and made a face before sighing, "Well, as long as I'm here, he's not going to touch you, so I wouldn't worry about that."

"I'm not worried about it hence, why I'm not locking myself behind chain-mail doors." She rested her head on his chest and let out a soft sigh, "Any more questions?"

He smiled, resting his chin against her head, "I am your chain-mail doors...." He thought about whether or not he had any more questions, and shook his head before replacing his chin back on top of hers, "I don't.... at least, nothing related. My one question would be what do you want to do now, but that's not what you're looking for..." He trailed off, not wanting to keep talking because if he did, it would be a rant and he didn't want to do that right now.

"Hmm..." Kelsie hummed in understanding and put her nose in his chest for a bit before wrapping her arms around his waist. After a bit of sitting there, she whispered, loud enough for him to hear, "I love you Damiaan."

Damiaan smiled, kissing the top of her head softly, whispering just as quietly, "i love you too, Kelsie....." He paused, smiling down at her, then murmured, "Like a lot."

Kelsie hugged him a bit harder for a second, a big smile on her face before loosening her hold but still keeping her arms around his waist. "I'm just glad you aren't completely awkward and hate cuddling or hugging." It was probably one of her favorite things to do with Damiaan.

He hugged her tighter as well, then laughed into her hair, "You really have no idea how awkward I am.... it took me so long to even work up the courage to hug you the first time."

"I would barely call that a hug...compared to what we're doing right now. It was more like a sling around the shoulders and I ended up wrapping my arms around you after that." Kelsie snorted but kept her eyes closed against his chest.

"Hm, and I could say the same for you too." She ran her fingers up and down his spine softly, letting out a short laugh when his hands went up to her neck. That small action tickled her more than she would admit.
