"You wanted to what? I don't think I'm hearing you right, you wanted to kill yourself because you were sick of life?" Her mouth was hanging open in shock as she looked at him.

He sighed softly, then nodded, rubbing the bridge of his nose as he looked at her, "You are hearing me just fine...."

"You know you wouldn't have succeeded, you may have broken a few bones but you can't die unless you stake yourself, we both know that now." She muttered, sitting down on the kitchen stool.

He ran his hand through his hair, sighing softly once more, "That's why I was going to jump off the fortieth floor......."

"What?" She spat and stood up abruptly. "I think I'm going to go find the horses myself. I just need some time to digest the fact that you were about to kill yourself when we met." She said and walked out the house without another word.

He stood up when she did, "Kelsie, wait!" He sat back down when she left, slapping his forehead on the counter multiple times at his own stupidity.

Kelsie didn't turn back when Damiaan called out, she just walked out to the stables and saw Onyx almost pacing around outside of the stables. "Hey boy..." She said softly, running a hand up the stallion's large skull. Sighing when she didn't see Chestnut, she just led the horse into his stall before taking off the saddle.

He left his head on the table, not sure what he should do now. She obviously didn't want to see him.... he just sighed and continued to sit there, looping his hands around his neck and feeling ashamed at himself.

It wasn't very long before Kelsie found Chestnut and brought the horse back to stables before returning to the house. In that time frame, she was able to cool down, with everything that happened today but mainly with what Damiaan said. She didn't like that he was planning on killing himself by jumping off the fortieth floor of his apartment, it basically was him saying that he had nothing and no one left to live for until they met.

Damiaan just kept his head on the cool countertop, waiting for Kelsie to come back--if she ever came back. She had to come back, though.... why wouldn't she come back? He breathed a small sigh of relief when he heard the door open, but didn't move yet, wanting to see if she would try to talk to him first.

Damiaan was still in the same position as when she had left and she wasn't sure of what to say to him...if he even wanted to talk to her after leaving like that so she just went strait to the living room. Not bothering to turn the TV on, she sighed and got in a comfortable position, pulling out her phone to make sure no one had tried to call her in the past day.

Damiaan swallowed hard while he waited, but she never came.... He made a soft noise in the back of his throat and sat up, staring at his hands before going upstairs, into the bedroom, sitting next to the bed on the floor, leaning his head against the wall, feeling very lost.

Kelsie heard Damiaan going upstairs and just sighed, she thought it was a sign he didn't want to talk to her though maybe he was waiting for her to talk to him... Shaking her head, she left a note on the coffee table that she'd be in the swimming pool and he was welcome to join but she just needed to cool down with a few laps around. After leaving the note, she went to the pool on the third floor and changed into the swimming stuff she left there then dived in the water.

Damiaan sat up there for a while, not wanting to really move. He kept trying to get himself to get up, to go talk to Kelsie, but he could never quite bring himself to do it, so he just sighed and sat there. Eventually, however, he managed to drag himself up off the floor, and he went downstairs, finding the note she left on the coffee table before going to the pool, standing at the edge with his hands in his pockets as he kind of just stared at the water, not really looking for her.

Kelsie heard Damiaan walk in as well and turned in that direction. She knew he would eventually find the note and come to the pool but it got to a point where she started doubting whether or not he would move from the bedroom. "Do you want to join me in the water?" She called out from the other side of the pool, slowly making her way over to him.
