Meaning ‘pure ancestry’ in Swahili, Mhenga Usafi is a clan dedicated to those who wish to avoid inbreeding in their pride either partially or completely. We welcome all manner of prides, be it natural, celestial, ‘colorbombs’, or anything else! The main purpose of the clan is to put those interested in ‘clean lined’ lions in touch with each other, through studs, cub sales, and more.

Mhenga Usafi does not require you to have no lions with inbreeding in your pride, a certain kind of king, or play a certain way. All that is required is a desire to have ‘clean lines’ and breed them to at least some extent. Whether it’s one particular family or your entire pride, if you want to avoid inbreeding, Mhenga Usafi welcomes you!
