Rene relaxed in her spot, her once tense body, loosely laid against the tree as the sounds of nature lulled her into a peaceful mood. Greens and browns completely filled her vision with a few vibrant colors blossoming at this time of year and others wilting from the extremities of the heat. The birds calling upon one another, gathering food and safety to protect their young as bandits will attempt to steal away the chicks.

It was a serene environment, nonetheless, it was almost begging and persuading Rene to submit to the relaxing environment and rest in the arms of nature itself. Her half lidded eyes then promptly opened when all the birds chirping came to an abrupt stop and twigs began to crack under one's weight. In alarm, she hastily brought out her wand, body tense in case she had to escape out of harms way or even attack if- and when- necessary. Not making another sound, she darted her eyes, looking for something that can be the one who scared all the birds away. Rather then a something, it turned out to be a someone.

Staring at the unrecognizable dark brown-haired girl, with an unusual set of eyes; Indigo, a strange, but beautiful color that only complimented her looks. Staring curiously at her for a long second, she saw that the female not only walked measly around the forest, but had also sat on the other side of the tree, the same exact tree she was sitting at. Finding a bit weird and unusual to sit on the other side of the tree, but not introduce, or even say a word, herself when Rene was clearly there.
'Maybe she didn't notice me..? Too lost in her thoughts?' she stared across from her, lost in her thoughts.

'I don't believe I've ever seen her ever at the school..must be a beginner. she thought before finally settling with the idea that she must be a beginner for Rene not to see her in all her years of being a student at Miss Aarden's school.

Sitting there, she thought whether or not to introduce herself or maybe even leave as the girl obviously wanted to be left in the silence, for then she would've started a conversation earlier if she thought otherwise. But like always, she Disregarded the thought of whether or not the girl might have wanted silence, and because it was her duty, although she hardly ever, if ever, listened to the guidelines of being master level, she thought it best to at least familiarize herself with all the beginner students.
"You know, it's quite rude to not at least say your name or a small 'hello' when seeing someone unfamiliar," a bored tone droned, though a hint of amusement can be heard if someone were either good at listening or their magic capabilities reached that far, if there was even such a thing.
", though, I'll let it slide for now. Now tell me," somewhat twisting her body so that she may now see a bit of the girl, ", what brings you to the forest? Usually beginners tend to explore the school, captured by all the amazing sights the school provides," she motioned her hand, beckoning forward as to exaggerate what she was saying.
", but you, my friend, sit here in the forest, might I add, in this scorching weather. So, why are you here?"
she scooted backwards, twisting her body, so that she may see the girl perfectly clear now, and tilting her head to the side to express her curiosity, but the smirk, however, did not cease the mere enquiring Rene had posed.

(( She's just trying to mess with the mind's of the beginners, just so they won't bother her much later. Cruel, but it has worked in the past. If this fails, she'll go back to her usual demeanor. ))

Curiosity peaked as Rene listened on to the girl's, as she still didn't know what to call the her, mature and interesting responses. She was certainly different, intelligent and confidence wise, than the other dim-witted beginners, that always held a childish, but dangerous persona, something she's always observed throughout her years of being a student as it always stuck out like a sore thumb. And the girl definitely had manners, which isn't seen quite often, her mind recalling to two particular people; the other two masters; Silvia Markus and Akeldama Crowe, whom only displayed affection towards their familiars.

To sum it up, this girl had potential, and maybe she was wrong..maybe this year wouldn't be so dull as she previously thought. Her smirk widened at the thought, this year..this year will certainly be a great one and her mood, usually bored and tedious at the things that happen around her, skyrocketed at the thought, excitement coursing through her veins and without her knowledge, she whispered out something, more to herself than to anyone else.
"Interesting.."

She glanced back up to the girl, her eyes must have trailed downward when she was lost in her thoughts, connecting her brown eyes, which glinted with euphoria, with the girl's vibrant colored eyes, whom was bashfully attempting to avoid eye contact and Rene did not miss the slight blush that blossomed on the tan girl's cheeks. Had the girl said something that might have embarrassed her while she was lost in her thoughts? Though she easily dismissed the thought, paying no mind to the blush, but she did thoroughly enjoy the girl's display of self-consciousness, especially when it made the smaller girl much cuter.

Pocketing her wand, she held her hand out for the tanned girl to take,
"Woodrow. Rene Woodrow" offering the girl a small, but rare smile, she attempted to ease any discomfort the girl had felt, especially with her interrogating ways, for she quite enjoyed this girl's nature.
"And what might be your name Miss..?" she trailed off, verbally beckoning for the girl to introduce herself so that she may no longer need to label her as 'that one girl'.

Ugh, don't get me even started on typing on mobile..I have to do everything via mobile, including these long ass posts (thought that's anyone's fault but my own to blame..I do tend to get carried away). X'D

Btw, when Rene called the girl 'cute', she meant in a cute lower classmate way. As a way upper class men treat their small, but cute, classmates. It'll be pretty hard for Rene to develop a romantic feeling towards someone as it's hard for her to express any other emotion besides her typical lazy manner. ))

Her smile widened to the best of its ability, so still not much, finding the girl's- or rather, Amaryllis', from which she just introduced herself as- excitement amusing, to say the least and shook the girl's hand firmly as well before releasing it as soon as the she felt the girl's grip loosen.

"Well, Miss Amaryllis," she paused, testing out the girl's name before continuing,
", it's my pleasure and please," waving her hand off with an incredulous look on her face, ", Rene is just fine." she trailed off, her focus drifting off to another male's presence..
'Well, speak of the devil and he shall appear..' she thought, a small frown decorating her face as she watched the male made eye contact with Rene before turning his attention to a butterfly, toying with the poor creature. Her jaw tensed as she watched the male belittle the surrounding nature around them and the creature's life. She never did like the male and had only gotten along with him, meaning she ignored his presence, when their duties were at hand.
"That damn Akeldama.." she whispered out, eyes narrowing towards him almost as if trying to duel him just by her mere glare. Never had she met a guy such as himself, at least Silvia contained some emotion that could be considered humane, but then her thoughts drifted off to her. Of course if she could very much be alive, oh if only, then of course people that were as bad as her would be sure to also be present. And just like that, all excitement completely died down, the once gleam in her eye's, dissipated almost as if it wasn't ever there in the first place.
Her thoughts were back to girl as the grass surrounding them grew, flowers blossomed as well and she knew it wasn't Rene's doing.
'So an earth user..' she observed, continuing to watch as the plants around them quickly grew, and made sure to remember this newfound information, later. However, a small frown graced her face as she watched crestfallen that she couldn't help Amaryllis with her nature power.

Suddenly, all thoughts were washed away as a small cry of pain came from Amaryllis. Darting her eyes down at the girl, eyes narrowing as she looked for what might have been the cause. The girl cradling her left ring finger, twitching from the pain and followed the girl's line of sight which was narrowed into a glare, all towards Akeldama. It didn't take an idiot to figure it out, Amaryllis was an earth user and Akeldama had just crushed the very thing that made up- in an energy sort of way, something that Rene had a hard time understand as well, let alone explaining- Amaryllis, so when earth was harmed, in any form, an earth user also shared the same pain. Rene held a grimace, thinking of all the times she accidentally, or purposely, harmed the nature around her and thus also hurting an earth user, as well.
Not a moment too sooner, she quickly, but carefully, sporting out her wand, she whispers another small incantation, 'curare aliis', and pointing it to the younger girl's injured finger. Quickly, the spell worked successfully before looking back at Amaryllis, monotonously.
"That is Akeldama. Another master level user who only cares about his crows. Don't think much about his..actions." she said, also sparing a glance at the male who was heading back towards the school, surprisingly, she didn't see his crow looming by his side which made his look more menacing.
