Acting on instinct, she lunged for the fish, and in one swift movement closed her jaws around the unsuspecting prey before it dropped down into the water. Blinking, Ase lifted her head slowly and looked at Marcus, the fish laying limp in her jaws "I may have bit down a bit too hard..." her voice was slightly muffled due to the fish, making it hard to speak, but hopefully Marcus understood what she said. A small chuckle being added in after her words. Swinging her head sideway's, Ase tossed the fish onto the shore, watching in satisfaction as it landed on the earth with a thud right next to the one she had caught earlier before she had met Marcus. Placing one paw into the water, Ase smirked. Maybe she could play a bit too? Swiping her paw through the water as if she had seen a fish, she giggled a bit as the water made contact with Marcus' face "How's that for enjoying myself?" she teasingly taunted before jumping away from the rock beside him, making sure he couldn't splash her in the face.

She sighed deeply, looking at her. She wondered for some seconds about what would be correct to reply, so she finally let some words out of her mouth.
"We are not super big on loners coming to our land, claiming space and hunting, so definitely not.
That includes me." She let out simply, shrugging it off. She looked around, checking nobody had discovered their location. Meanwhile, she plucketed some flowers off the ground and brushed them against herself to get some nice aroma.

She blinked at his words, but when he started to headbutt her, she jumped back, slipping on one of the rocks and falling into the water on her butt with a thud. Rising to her paws, Ase shook out her fur and looked up, pouting slightly. "Hey! That's playing dirty, no fair!" she growled playfully before rising to her paws and lunging at him, pushing him gently into the water before laughing and waddling away, though at a slow pace since the water was pushing against her and slowing her down.

They played for a while longer, though, when both of them grew tired, their playing began to cease. Letting out a heavy breath, Ase climbed out of the water after him, shaking the water off her fur before falling to the ground a satisfied with the feeling of the sun against her brown coat. Lifting her head from the ground, she looked over to Marcus, his words piquing her interest. Lifting a brow (not literally XD), a smirk crept across her lips "So...you have other plans hmm..." Ase gently chuckled before laying her head back down on the grass, her eye's closing slowly as she waited for Marcus to reply.

Sitting up, she turned to look at Marcus, blinking as she thought about what he just said. Her brows furrowed slightly, her sage green gaze watching Marcus closely "Um, what is that suppose to mean?" it was hard for Ase to understand what he meant, for he had not explained it in a way that she COULD understand. Rising to her paws, she walked over to him and looked down at him before lifting her paw and poking his nose gently "Can you try to make more sense next time? It would help." Turning, she began to walk away, keeping close to the stream before laying down next to it, her head resting on one of her paws while the other one was dipped into the cold current.
