Stopping her childish playing, Ase froze where she stood, body tense, ears and eye's alert. Slowly, she stepped out of the water, joining Marianne on the dry grass as both Caliphurs looked around for whoever was following them. Raising her snout to the air, Ase took in a deep breath, trying to sniff out their stalker, though, to no avail did that work, there were too many smells around them. Ase growled confusedly because of this. Stepping forward, Ase looked around yet again, though this time upward, and surprisingly, there was her clue. Hanging down from the branches was a single tail and not any tail, but a Caliphur tail.

At this point Ase was slightly confused, but, she didn't allow her frustration to show. Growling she stepped over to the tree, her eye's narrowing "We've seen you, now come out of hiding." there was a possibility that this Caliphur was from Panmennt, but, Ase would know this Caliphur was, and she did NOT have any idea who was up in the tree.

Marianne watched the scene in silence and listened. When both Ase and the stranger were done discussing, Marianne decided to step in and raised her voice sternly. "Okay, so... You intrude into our land and expect us not to harm you in any way, under a promise..." She takes a brief stop and sighs through her nostrils "I don't think i will harm you, but careful with my friend Ase here... Even if you don't come down, i bet she can jump into that tree faster than me multiple times, and she's just one year younger than me, and has far more training... So you better come down."
When Marianne was finished, she sat, looking at the only visible part of this stranger- His tail. There was absolutely no information about this Caliphur to be seen- Only the fact that they sounded like a male, and even on that she coul be wrong.
Marianne thought about what she said again and realized she could have sounded a bit too aggressive for someone who probably didnt see the runes at the door of the territory. The loner lowered his head, and she looked at him with ease. She smiled by one side of her face and raised one of her "eyebrows". This was definitely a teen. The face was not as long as sharp or hardened as an adults', but they did look big enough.
"Where is your family?"

She growled slightly, her eye's watching the stranger male as he climbed down from the tree and sat down in front of them calmly, though, with a bit of caution that Ase could plainly see. As he spoke casually and carelessly to the two older and much more experienced adults, Ase cocked her head slightly as he called them love and lovelies. Stalking back over to Marianne's side, Ase sat down, her gaze never leaving the younger Caliphur "Don't flatter yourself...your only making yourself sound stupid when you're trying to flirt with an experienced warrior and brood mother who has been through it all." Scoffing, Ase sat back, her ears pinned against her head and a unwelcoming gaze directed towards the Caliphur in front of her.

Marianne looked at Nyxian dead in the eye. She felt reticent. "Geez, yeha! It ain't like you could like, sneak into our nests while we're sleeping and murder our children." She suddenly spat, rather ironically, annoyed. She knew he was too young to even try, he'd get discovered off the bat, but the females did not know anything about this person. Maybe he was just a distraction or a spy.
Frowning slightly Marianne did a sudden movement towards him to startle him a little and produce a reaction. Although this was a delicate situation, she wanted to see how ready was this young fellow to run for his life, even if it seemed like a weird thing to test.

Ase scoffed at his response, but, she didn't speak. It seemed that Marianne had this slightly under control, though, Ase couldn't picture this teenager coming into their nests and murdering their young. He didn't seem to be interested in that type of thing. Flicking her tail, which had bristled during their conversation, Ase sideway's glanced towards Marianne "So, what are we gonna do about him....We could let him off with just a warning." though she was intimidating and didn't really like this teens attitude, she wasn't going to hurt him, it would give her a bad reputation, though, she could give him something to remind him not to wander into another Caliphurs territory. Maybe a scar or two?
