Speaking of pride stuff, my king had his first child actually born in my pride! Not a sunset ;; Super close though, she's mauve, so red medium countershaded common. I'd use her as a sunset breeder, but... I dislike having inbred lions in my pride, and she's the daughter of my king, so I'll prob just give her to someone else .3. ... hey looking for a mauve cub-

Ugh my Sunset king on my side acct is starting to irritate me...he was throwing sunsets like crazy (one was 18th cub another at 56th cub) and then....NOTHING...neither of the sunsets were born into my pride...and now we are at 186 cubs and no sunsets since cub #56!!!!

I wouldn't worry about inbreeding... my king's first primal cub made his first sidereal. So it could mean luck? :P But obviously it's your choice. ;)

Wow. Actually, I think you've just got lucky at the first time. It's on the same rarity as sidereal. My king is at about 230 (only half is alive) cubs and only bred one sidereal. I've heard others average 1 novelty based cub per 100-200 cubs. Don't give up, just keep breeding :3

If my primal-sunset has some good sunset breeders I /might/ keep them too, just to sell the cubs :P But I prefer no inbreeding in the pride. That's why I've never kinged a son of a previous king before o3o Just to make it easier to avoid inbreeding, since it's hard to remember the lineage of my entire pride xD I dunno, I just prefer it, even though I know it doesn't change the game in any way
