Cheetahpaw jumped. She had not known that there was a she cat behind her. As she turned she smelled a different scent and recognized Nightstar. "N-N-Nightstar!" She scrambled onto all fours in fear. "what th-" Cheetahpaw was about to ask her why she was here, then she remembered Fogstar telling the clan about Nightstar coming. Cheetahpaw sat down and looked at her paws. "Nevermind..... Okay, Nightstar..." Cheetahpaw, annoyance raging through her. Tallpaw and her were no different and she should be trusted just as much as him to carry out such tasks. Maybe he wouldn't go...it is Fogstars decision. She looked expectantly at her leader waiting for his response.

Tallpaw aproached Cheetahpaw and whispered "Maybe you could go to ThunderClan" he senced her annoyance, he looked at her, hoping that she would maybe smile, he looked once more to Fogstar and like Cheetahpaw, he waited for his responce, but he couldn't wrap his mind about why was Nightstar here, was this because of a prophecy?

"Yeah, I guess..." Cheetahpaw gave her friend a small smile. She should not be jealous of Tallpaw, I mean after all he was a medicine cat apprentice and he was the one who received the prophecy. Even though she thought this Cheetahpaw still felt a prick of jealousy towards the apprentice.

Hey guys! SO SORRY! I got unsubscribed from all of the fourums I post on for some reason. It's strange.

Fogstar had been smiling lightly with his focus on the little argument taking place between the apprentices. "Tallpaw, I trust that you will be able to relay our message to the Shadowclanners. Meadowpaw, I think you can handle Riverclan. Ensure you stay out of their territory, as they are a little...expressive." He snorted in soft laughter. "And Smokestep, I'm sure you can handle Thunderclan." His stare switched to each feline after moments with the one prior.
"Your task is simple. You w-"
The male cut himself off as the reeking stench of Riverclan flooded his nostrils. He looked around in alarm, pelt bristling. Instincts caused him to stand and step forwards with his tail arched high in concentration while cranium swiveled around. Could the fish-brains be raiding their camp?
No, of course not. It was just their fish-breathed leader wandering into their home. "Oh Starclan. Do other clans not tell their cats to NOT GO INTO OTHER FREAKING CAMPS?" A whisper as strong as a yowl slid quietly through his lips. Ears twitched in annoyance as he realized the whole fiasco with the Shadowclan warrior would repeat once more.
As soon as the ebony fae arrived a sweeping sense of unease spread thick and clear through all of his clanmates. He watched as she frightened the small apprentices he knew to heart. She wanted to talk. She. VVanted. To. Talk.
An exasperated sigh was held within his chest as he began to speak. "Nightstar. I know you need to discuss things with me at the moment. But, just...coming straight into our camp instead of waiting at the border is the most foolish thing I have ever, ever heard. You are one of our four leaders yet you decide to set the example of barging into the inner home of other cats." Fogstar's vocals were loud as a monster. He kept his voice smooth and utterly devoid of emotion while he stared blanky into her features.
"If you want to talk to me, you will come to our emergency gathering at Four Trees. More or less, I require you to go now that you decided your message to my clan was so important that you needed to set a terrible example for my apprentices, kits, and warriors." He turned to the side to look over at the cluster of apprentices. "Tallpaw, you may go. Meadowpaw, you can help escort miss Nightstar off of our territory." The tom once more twisted his head to look at Smokestep. He let out a smile and blew air out of his nostrils in a sort of /what a day/ gesture. "You can go to Thunderclan now. VVith those words Fogstar sat back on his rump and let out a stressed sigh.

Smokestep's purr had been strong in her chest as she watched the strength and bond her clan, her family showed. Apprentice to Elder, they were united. No clan could be better. She was about to say as much when the Riverclan leader trotted into their camp, as if it were natural. The light purr she had faded, and her eyes narrowed in focus. she raised slightly into a crouch, her plumy tail lashing. Why did cats always think they could walk over Windclan, as if their boundaries didn't exist.
She could see that even though Fogstar held a cool exterior, he could not be anything but furious. Even she held a new tension in her claws, as much as she was a words before actions cat.
Smoketstep rose from her crouch as Fogstar spoke to her, shaking her own head in exasperation in response to his gesture. However, she didn't move right away, instead keeping her eyes on the Invasive leader, her own apprentice, and Fogstar.
"Yes, of course."
She shifted on her paws, but waited, knowing she couldn't leave in good faith until everything in the clan had settled.

Cheetahpaw yowled in her mind. 'What in living Starclan is happening?!?!?!?!' she thought to herself. Not only was Tallpaw going by himself but now every cat and their brother were going to the other clans as well! Cheetahpaw snorted and flattened her ears. She wanted to make up for her outbreak earlier and now she wasn't even able to do that! She then decided to go ask Smokestep if she could hunt by herself. She walked up to Smokestep and asked the deputy "Since I am not going anywhere today and there aren't going to be as many cats in the camp, may I go hunting?"

Meadowpaw nodded politely to her leader. But really, she was super excited to get to go to ThunderClan. But.... She also had to escort the RiverClan leader... She took a deep breath and forced her fluffy fur to lie flat. It was hard to tell when it was bristling though anyways, since it was always a mess.
"Well, let's get moving!" She mewed as calmly as possible to Nightstar, walking behind her to keep an eye on her.

His attention first swiveled to Tallpaw, giving the apprentice a respectful dip of the head. He was a trustworthy apprentice in himself, along with being brave enough to volunteer to relay the message over borders. VVith his eyes still trained on the fleeting frame of the young cat and his ears perked, he heard Cheetahpaw requesting to go hunting. "Cheetahpaw, you can rather go and hunt or come along to our gathering. I won't force anyone, I guess. Really, it is Smokestep's call but I'd just like to make sure you were aware of your options. M."

Fogstar's voice was rather breathy compared to his usual flat voice. So much was going on. Alas, this was the struggle of running a respectful clan while the other 3 around you don't have basic sense. His cranium twisted slowly to let his optics scathe over Nightstar. Emergency notice? VVindclan's grave? //Had she not been listening to what I just said? Starclan.// His mind hissed and he blanky stared at Nightstar after her blatant threat ended in laughing. "Not my grave. If you do not leave my camp immediately and leave to your own clan, it will be yours." He turned with a loose, mocking smile beginning to crease his features. "Meadowpaw, I have full faith and trust in you. I know you will do a great job getting her out of our home before she ends up buried here." He let out a childish giggle. "Sorry, I can't do that type of thing. Insulting, that is. I hope to see you at Four Trees, Nightstar."

Fog sighed and sat back on his rump, head swinging for a moment before he lifted it once more. "Four Trees. 5 minutes. Everybody who wishes to come can." His voice wavered for a moment as he finished his speech. "Thank you."

Smokestep blinked, looking at Cheetahpaw. In all the tension, she had hardly noticed the apprentice drawn near.
"Of course, that's fine." she glance at Fogstar.
"You can go to the meeting when you're done, or return to camp. Whichever you or your mentor see fittest." She mewed, giving the apprentice a gentle blink of reassurance. Her attention returned to the situation at hand when she heard Nightstar's laugh, and a rare, small growl emitted from her chest. As gentle as the deputy was, she had little tolerance for mockery of her family. Her tail lashed and kneaded the ground. However, she knew that it was time to go. She passed Fogstar, giving the leader a sympathetic brush with her tail, before her lithe figure slid from the camp, a dusty blur across the moor. Thunderclan, hopefully those cats had more decency than the last two clans had shown recently.
