Blossompaw seemed a little shocked at first at the sudden demand, but nodded nonetheless. She ducked her head and scented at the herbs. She verified the honey comb and poppy seed, but the scent of the cob web was more or less nonexistent. She reached forward a paw to sort them into different piles, defining the cobwebs by the texture. "Poppy seed, honey comb, and cobweb?"

Lightningpaw's ears flicked. He raised his head as the deputy addressed him. "Oh- uh, good morning Stormsong." Quickly, act natural, like you weren't trying to eavesdrop. "It's okay. Blossompaw looked at it and told me to rest, but I need to train today."

The tortoiseshell leader's ears and tail lowered after Ravenclaw spoke. He hadn't been prepared for that question at all. "Ehm... yes," he paused for a moment, then continued speaking, "How did you find out?" he said in a sharper tone.

ShadowLeaf smiled praisingly. "Well done. You can rest for the day." ShadowLeaf me owed. Her voice was warmer, not as stern as before.

Blossompaw dipped her head, not commenting anything else. She had quite a lot of energy, but not very many ways to use it. So she just went toward her nest in the medicine den, bored out of her mind, and probably gonna work on memorizing herbs.

"Well then, the camp's defenses need a bit of patching up here and there. Want to help me with this?" With a bit of a mischievous smirk, Stormsong leaned in towards the apprentice and added, "That is, if you think your paw can handle it..."

Tallpaw-9 Moons-Location: Border with WindClan-Mentions: Fogstar, ShadowClan (general)

The small tome thanked Fogstar for letting him go, he sat patiently in the border, casually moving from side to side waiting for a patrol to come by, he sat there, nerviousness flooded in his eyes, he didn't like meeting new cats, he prefered to stay with his normal friends, but this was important, he waited for some more, wondering when a ShadowClan patrol would come by.

Blossompaw boredly started sorting herbs, scenting them to make sure she knew them, and when she finished she sighed. She started pacing quietly, trying to burn off some energy. She had the brief idea to wander out of camp, but the idea spooked her enough to make her stay inside.

She sat precariously on a set of rocks near the edge of camp. Head tilting which way and back, the warrior watched the small antics, a slight furrow in her brow. It had been ages since she had been able to do anything that felt useful for the clan, and although some cats may enjoy calm, Owlsong preferred doing over waiting. Shaking her head, she rose to her paws, stepping with a slight wrinkle of her nose back onto the soft earth. For a Shadowclan cat, she wasn't much for the marshes. looking around, she caught Stormsong's visage nearby, talking with an apprentice. With a twitch of her tail, she trotted over, settling just close enough to spark conversation when the cat was ready, but not near enough to interfere.

Stormsong's ear twitched as she heard another cat approach. Still leaning towards the apprentice, she glanced out of the corner of her eye to see who had come near. Seeing the other she-cat, Stormsong greeted Owlsong, "Hiya Owlsong!" Turning to face her Stormsong continued, "I was just seeing if Lightningpaw would want to help reinforcing the camp's defences. I know that near the entrance to the tunnel that goes to Windclan territory there's some nice brambles there. Care to join?"

Owlsong gave a friendly twitch of her tail at the greeting, and blinked her peculiar mixed eyes at Lightningpaw in acknowledgement as well. She sank to her haunches, plumy tail wrapping around her paws delicately.
"Keep the apprentices working?" she purred, teasingly. It was good for cats to work hard, and the thought of doing something seemed better than sitting around all day.
"But yes, I'd love to join." She gave her chest a few licks in thought.
"Just stretching my paws will get the old blood pumping." She rose to her paws, looking far perkier than she had in the past few days.
