We had decided early on that even as the designs started to drift towards more fantasy, we wanted it to be a more realistic social portrayal since a lot of fantasy animal works tend to underplay just how interesting their realistic social behaviors are. Here's a bit of info that you could incorporate into your thread if you like. Inbreeding among feral cat colonies can sometimes create this colouring in cats. It's rare but definitely beautiful and almost looks like some of your more fantastical designs :) Link

It seems that the humans have been able to recognize Mona's pregnancy. They have been more curious about the cat than usual. Now that the litter is born, this could be problematic. Mona could act more hostile to the humans and order her sister to do the same, but that would contradict what their mother had taught them and her sister's more sweet nature.

Cleo was recently injured in a scavenging accident and is still somewhat recovering from it, but now that kittens have been born, Cricket needs her more than ever. She is hungry, and won't have enough milk for two kittens if they don't get food soon.

Raising three kittens is hard enough for a lone cat normally. Doing so blind seems to be near impossible. Acadia's sisters haven't been any help either; their scent is faint within the territory. The kittens are mewling for milk that isn't there because Acadia hasn't been successful in hunting. Mother had left to hunt for her but hasn't returned yet. She does smell Calla return, however, and her sister makes a pointed remark about how she is working their mother to death.

Loki has been doing everything she observed her mother did as a kitten; marking territory, roaming it, hunting and paying attention to the human traffic to best avoid it. One day, however; it seems to be rather unavoidable. A car has broken down on the curb near their territory that the human is working on. The faint smell of smoke wafts off of it. If they bolt it now, they might get spotted by the human, but the smell of smoke provokes an instinctual sense of panic.

Amira is getting reckless and bored and has been expressing this very vocally lately while Kagutsuchi has been wandering in and out of the territory aimlessly. Or at least it seemed to be. Amira has just reported to Izanami that Kagutsuchi has been attempting to romance a tom all this time! But knowing Amira, she could be lying just to start some sort of feud. Izanami could attempt to stalk Kagutsuchi, but that would mean leaving her young kittens to be watched by Amira...

Annalora's sisters are at each other's throats. Again. The two strong personalities always seem to disagree, and every disagreement is worth yowling and swiping over. Granted, it is usually never so serious that anyone gets hurt and they are quick to forgive, Annalora has been more dismissible about it until now. All this fighting is stirring the kittens back awake!

After such an intense battle, Cross was left in desperate need to heal and rest. She is still pretty banged up from the encounter, but an opportune moment presents itself; a large aquatic rodent nearly the size of her has just pulled itself up to the bank of the river on her side of the territory. She could try to take it down and be set for a week on food, but with her injuries and it's size, it can result in quite the scuffle.

With mother gone and a territory all to herself, your queen finds everything to be a bit...boring. There isn't anyone to talk to, or compliment her, or groom her anymore, which can be a little despairing. One day while she is sighing and sulking, she is so distracted by her own misery that she doesn't notice the dog looking at her through the glass of the human house's patio door. It crashes against it with a loud bump that causes her to jump into the air!

A couple of terrible storms have left the pit just full enough to attract a mother goose and her five delicious-looking chicks. With her lingering around, humans also have been coming closer to the pit to feed her bread. This could provide some great opportunities if Eclipse is willing to put up with mother goose's wrath.
