As terrifying as it is, Loki decides to wait it out with her mother, who has curled herself into the farthest corner of the room. She makes her way over with her, eyes stinging from the smoke and curls against her. Her heart is racing, and she fights every instinct to panic, but eventually the smoke goes away and after a couple of startlingly loud noises, the human and his car is gone too. It seems they survived this encounter...this time.

Loki is now skittish!

As soon as her feet touch the ground, they are kicking up does as she practically skates across the grass to duck into the safety of her shed. The dog continues to bark and attack the glass until it's human yells at it to stop. After a while, the beast eventually leaves, causing the return of your queen's bravado. This simply won't do! There isn't any room in this territory for another loud and powerful animal. She will have to find a way to get rid of this monster...

Your queen is now mischievous!

The invading cat's malicious snarl slowly faded into intrigue as Nymeria began to speak. When the cat inquired about what they would do to prevent the invasion, much to both of their surprise, Teigan sprinted forward while it's guard was down, attacking with all of her might and eventually chasing it away.

Teigan is now protective!

Although a little weird, Izanami is certain Amira wouldn't harm her own sister's kittens and leaves her to watch them while she follows Kagutsuchi's trail. She eventually finds the cat by the factory, but after a while of trailing her, she loses her sister, defeated, Izanami returns home to find Amira rolling one of the kittens around with her paw idly and Kagutsuchi smiling smugly, taunting Izanami with the message "You can't sneak up on a sneak master". Now Izanami is starting to understand how her mother felt.

Petrichor sighs when she gets the news of their "invader", telling the girls that the mutt is harmless and to not give it any mind. The girls seem skeptical, but eventually head out to entertain the dog. Even with the two of them, they barely manage to keep up with the dog (who was eventually called home by tired sounding humans), but learn some interesting techniques and teamwork skills from the experience.

Brontide and Komorebi are now more powerful!

The young cat crouches low and sneaks up close enough to smell the creature's damp fur as if it were draped across her face. Her eyes are trained on the back of it's neck; ready to pounce when it lifts it's head. But the rodent smells her and her open wounds, making a dash for the water instead. She stamps her foot in annoyance and decides to sleep off her anger. Maybe next time.

Acadia manages to bite her tongue and swallow her pride, begging for her sister to help out before her kittens starve. She doesn't get an answer, but hears her sister leaving, followed by nearly jumping out of her skin when she hears Kinna's voice from behind her, taunting her about her inability to defend and provide for herself, let alone the kittens she has given birth to. Kinna only stops after their mother and sister return for food. Acadia is so dispirited she has lost her appetite, but manages to choke it down so that she can properly produce milk for the kittens.

Acadia is now sad and sensitive!

Mona trusts that the humans won't be too handsy around her kittens. Maybe the young ones, but she will handle it when it gets there. For now, she is more focused on protecting the territory and enjoying motherhood.

Annalora hisses that they are only being this ridiculous because they are bored and decides to give them specific jobs; one being the territory defender and the other being the hunter. This seems to satisfy them for now...but soon they will be arguing about which is more important.

Sienna decides to go apologize to Xander in hopes to rebuild their relationship, but due to her personality, Xander is skeptical of her motives. Xander explains that she is upset that she would make such a big choice that effects their lifestyle without consulting her first and finds the behavior suspicious, but she won't leave...for now.

Xander is now grumpy!

Cleo watches the kittens

Sorry for the late posts! The holidays and Lioden forums have not been very nice to me. These posts are going to be a little shorter than usual, as I have typed and lost them twice now and just want to get them done.

@Nova
The goose is infuriated that a dangerous cat would dare come so close to her kittens! She chases Eclipse around, pulling fur from her hindquarters and leaving wicket peck marks! Ouch! However, the cat did eventually get better at dodging her hellish wrath.
Eclipse is now injured and more powerful!

@Hades
Cleo looks to Cricket with widened eyes when she says she can rest and watch the kittens. She mumbles that she didn't think she would trust her with such a task. A small smile spreads across her face. When Cricket returns, the kittens are sleeping soundly and the two share a meal together.
Cleo is now more supportive!

Micah has been extremely rebellious for such a small kitten. She refuses to stay within territory boundaries and attempts to take off running when her mother goes to pick her up. Today, she went as far as to swat her with a tiny paw!

Lately, Cricket is starting to notice that shadow is just a bit timider than her sister, and Angel completely takes advantage of that. Angel often startles her with unwanted and random wrestling matches and swipes bits of food from her while she is eating.

Acadia can smell that there is something off about one of her kittens, but she can't figure out which one. She may be sick, but her mother is off hunting and can't confirm this. She hears her sisters talking in the distance.

Brontide is telling the kittens a story. Judging by how animated she is while saying it, it is bound to be an outlandish one. It has their attention completely and they seem to be excited to hear more, however. It is already ten minutes past their naptime, and Petrichor is certain this isn't a calming, naptime appropriate story.

Inari is well beyond the standard for her age. She is only a kitten and is already effortlessly graceful. Isora? Not so much. The girl still trips over her own feet, can't quite calculate distance well enough to leap from one place to another, and is often distracted by the elusive tail flickering behind her that entices her to chase.

Annalora's kittens seem to be especially content with their mother and feel safe and secure in where they are. However, this has also resulted in them being a little bit lazier and dependant than they should be at this age; they don't want to practice stalking and pouncing, they would rather sleep than wrestle or wander, and none of them seem interested in taking on queendom in the future at all.

Nymeria's kittens seem to be a bit intimidated by Jonnie, possibly because of her lack of fur. They go quiet when she is around and activitly run towards their mother when she approaches them. She can tell it is a little disheartening for her sister.
