A lot of people have invested a lot of currency in the scrying stone to see if we were right about combos, and here is the result :D But wait... What are combo bases?When you breed two lions with the right combination of bases, their cubs roll a further, extra chance that can result in a third, new base, a "combo" base. Each combo base has its own requirements, and these bases often ignore the set genetic rules: for example, the Cairngorm combo base (Black Light Solid Special genetics) can be obtained by breeding a Celestial lion (Black Dark Countershaded Special genetics) and a Cocoa lioness (Black Medium Countershaded Rare genetics). Most combo bases can be passed down as long as one parent has it and further requirements are met if there are any, with the exception of Pulsar and Temporal. *Since the 12th October update, cubs that have triggered the original combo bases - Cairngorm, Citrine, Madagascar or Qahir - have a 50% chance of getting their respective mane color, and these can be inherited like any other mane color! Right now there are two different types of combo bases: "standard" combos and "factor" combos. Factor ones can be obtined by breeding any of the bases that make up the combo, but standard ones can be obtained by more than one combination of bases that are assembled into two different groups. The combo can trigger as long as the parents have bases that belong to a different combo group (not to be mistaken by the genetic color group). *Note: While some of the following standard combo tables have been completed, there may be some combinations that remain undiscovered yet. "It is possible to OBTAIN from combo breeding but they also can be bred when Madagascar x Madagascar requirements are met. So Madagascar x Madagascar has a chance to pass Madagascar. I can understand that being a little confusing, and I am very sorry you were given conflicting information. I know the staff name is blocked, but this is the Admin Baroness and the information in this ticket is coming direct from me and Xylax." This can also be found on page 27 of this thread and is directly copied from the ticket I issued. I think I might retire my Madagascar boy. He hasnt passed a maddy base at all and Ive used every base needed. My special based girls are dying off and still no maddy. If there is a bug, and they dont fix it, it was a waste of time to offer it as a base to begin with. Since this thread came out I get 0 stud requests because people know it wont pass. Just to let you know HOW long Ive had this king? Ive stat replaced him 3 times. In those 3 times and all the breedings: NO MADAGASCARI think i would rather have a sunset king. I went ahead and posted on the bug report about it. Im very frustrated, so I hope it doesnt sound too rude. 5 months Maddy has been out, I got my boy about 2 weeks after it was released. 0 Maddies from ANY of his lionesses. I keep about 10 or so with special bases. I have not has a sunset or sepia to experiment with, but it should not matter considering Im using a majority of the others: Sapela Shedua Unholy Ivory Nacre Supernal Perhaps if more people posted on the bug report they would get more attention??  0 players like this post!
