The basics of this suggestion - new players often don't know a lot about the game. It's reasonable. To be fair, some older players don't either, because of how much it's changed, but that's neither here nor there. I'm proposing a 'account age limit' for posting in certain forums, namely for posting guides and suggestions (mainly the latter - some people pick up the game very quickly and can help others out with guides). Don't get me wrong; I have no issues with new players. We were all new once and it takes time to get used to such a large game, but you shouldn't be able to post suggestions or guides until your account is at least a few months old, because by then, you'll probably know about all of the game's features (so you won't suggest features that are already in the game), you'll have heard what suggestions just AREN'T being added, and you won't unintentionally spread misinformation in a guide. I feel like a lot of suggestions are made by newbies with the intent of making the game easier . . for newbies. Making base breeding easier, stuff like that. Older players often have worked hard to get what they have, and effort should equal reward. Now, I'm not going to suggest anything crazy like a year, but at least two or three months. You can still read, comment on, and support/no support suggestions and guides, but you can't make them yourself. Another suggestion (page two of the comments, by Yakyuu) was that it could be a number of rollovers instead of an actual time - because you could make an account, never log in again, and come back a few months later and be able to post suggestions and guides despite actually logging in and rolling over once or twice. Another suggestion, by River [Lights Off] (#6903), is that if we go with the number of rollovers suggestion, it resets if you've not logged in for a certain amount of time (because when you come back from a hiatus, it takes you time to relearn the game, especially if there's a ton of new stuff). |

i would clearly never, ever try to be rude to anyone, but you made this post: https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429298509 if you knew as much about this game as you claim, you would know that the staff have already vetoed this idea, as there are far too many files that would be needed to be updated that it would get quite annoying. also, you would know that there are several suggestions already on the site suggesting, much more eloquently, different solutions for how to solve the minor problem of some decor and items not working correctly on muties. no one here, least of all me, is trying to gain your support, especially when you are such a nice example of my exact point. 0 players like this post! @BritishAce you can make 1ksb easily in a day, even with no clue of the economics, I'm new and I can make that from monkey business each day on BOTH accounts just from hunting and exploring junk. Learning which things can be sold on branch sales or tc improves that even more 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Poopen I know you can make 1kSB a day. A friend of mine is able to do that just by hunting 20-30 times a day and selling stuff to the Monkey Business. I don't recall saying that a person isn't able to make 1k+ SB a day. Haha, sorry. I reread the posts and saw my initial post saying making 1kSB a day was impossible. I meant it like how when you first start off. I saw a guide that said you can make 1kSB just by selling cubs or whatnot. I forgot exactly what it said but it did have misinformation in it. Sorry for the confusion. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 31/01/18 @ 17:05:12 by BritishAce (#78363) |

Ace they're talking about the first comment you made. But if you'd like to discuss the possibility of making money further, maybe take it to PMs? That's not what my suggestion is about, after all. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Idk I support and I don't Support. I've been playing lioden for almost 2 years. Not all new people are like this and sure it's annoying I think It's also great to ignore it since it could possibly strike Arguments toward's other player's Especially the newer one's thinking they are ruining the game, blah blah, Posting stuff that was posted before and was rejected etc. It just doesn't seem fair that once the new person joins they don't post. What if they have a question? They should have a Right to Post on the board. 0 players like this post! Like? |

This suggestion is for certain boards like guides and suggestions. The newbies would be able to post in any other forum. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Oracle, Ny isn't suggesting new players can't post on any forum. She's suggesting new players won't be able to create forum threads on certain forums, particularly the suggestions subforum. They can still comment on suggestions, just not create them. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I just think the only board that should have age restrictions Is the Grown-up Form. 0 players like this post! Like? |

With a good network of experienced players it doesn't take long to get a basic hang on the game and know what would/ wouldn't work. You don't even think about what could be better about the site until you actually understand the site anyway which comes at a month or so. Also it doesn't hurt if someone makes a dumb suggestion, worst that can happen is people no support and reject it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Oracle, this isn't an actually age suggestion. You would need like 2 months of rollovers before you could post in suggestions subforum 0 players like this post! Like? |
