Do not take any medical pet advice over the internet, those are questions for your rat's vet and not strangers on the internet. ( I kind of want to clarify this, you can talk about vet/medical stuff but there should be no diagnosing or giving each other dosing measurements etc) + Do not photo spam in this thread please + Do not advertise anything not rat related (i.e. other clans/studs/etc) + You don't have to donate but it would be appreciated if you did : ) + If you have any issues please contact me! Please add a little introduction on your first post in the thread (name, pronouns, etc..) and I'll add some questions to get started! 1. How many rats do you have, if any? 2. Males vs Females, which do you prefer and why! 3. Whats your cage setup (or dream setup)? 4. Favorite color/marking ? Dumbo vs Top-ear?

I don't have any tattoos yet...but I am maybe considering getting my first heart rat's (Regulus) footprints...perhaps on my shoulder where they would be if he was sitting there. I made stamp prints of his hands and feet with him before he passed so I have them. I kind of wanted to make it one of his hand, then one of my second heart rat's (Selsby) hand, and leave the feet for potential future heart-friends, but my Selsby had to be euthanized suddenly when a hidden internal tumor burst his lung and the experience was very emotional for me and in the midst of it I forgot to get his prints, which I regret...so I can't get a tattoo of his print because I unfortunately don't have it. ....so maybe just Reggie's? But I haven't fully decided yet. 0 players like this post! Like? |

you could always get reggies hand/foot/feets and maybe a small image of selsby ? im probably going to get a little doodle of my heart rat teddy after my next tattoo in april (im getting a tat of laika the space dog) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hey guys! I got permission from bucky barnes to post this here so I just wanted to let you all know that I made some Rat Emojis and I am doing recolors of them here: Rat Emoji Recolors Its a set of 10 Emoji icons that you can use on threads, in PMs, etc however you like. My Regis just passed away on my lap. Very peaceful I'm pretty sure it was just old age. He just suddenly got really tired today and then he just shut down a couple hours later. No panic or signs of pain. Gonna miss him. He was my little athlete. Master of all the complex tricks. Tightrope, basketball, retrieval, and master of the birthday pinata I had for them at their last birthday. oh noo, rest in peace over the rainbow bridge Regis. ive lost all of my "original" mischief save for tobie (sirius, james, lupin, teddy, hamilton and delsin) which is sad but ive recently given him three sisters to live with ! It was seriously the FASTEST rat introductions ive ever done. took about 4-5 sessions and they were fine from the get go. I think he was a little annoyed at first but now they all cuddle and hang out. ive missed having girls! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I went to get Bellamy and Pepper out to cuddle today and Bellamy was gone. Two in one week. Its so hard when they are all old and nearing the end together. Sometimes it seems like they are just holding on for each other and when one finally gives up the others let go not long after. Of the three, Bellamy was my sweetheart and I was not ready.
