 This thread is part of the Ilanga’s Adoptions clan, although anyone can adopt cubs here. Please check it out, we’d love to have some new members! You are still welcome to request cubs, but keep an eye out for future changes! Welcome! This is one of Lioden’s longest-existing cub adoption threads, created in October 2018. It has since expanded into multiple shelters and a clan. It’s named after the owner’s first broodmother, Ilanga. All of the cubs here are free for the taking, as long as they are marked as “Adoptable”. All you have to do is write a quick roleplay, even if it’s just a couple sentences long. Once you’ve read the rules, you can speak to one of the broodmothers at the adoption center and let them know which cub(s) you would like! Rules -Please DO NOT kill/tree/sell a cub you get from us! They are looking for permanent homes. -You can adopt as many cubs as you like! Just make sure that you can actually care for all of them. -To make things easier for us, please specify the name of the shelter or broodmother you are adopting from in your roleplay. -You don’t need to include a link to the cub, just their name. -We generally have a first-come, first-serve policy, but if someone puts more effort into their roleplay or message, we might choose them instead. -Please do not argue with the decision of a shelter owner. However, if you have a problem (such as a cub not arriving, or receiving the wrong cub), don’t be afraid to reach out to us! -If you break the rules, we may prevent you from adopting a cub here in the future. -We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Born during the poaching season, Vikela lost many of her family and friends to vicious attacks when she was just a cub. She witnessed firsthand the deaths of countless cubs, and made it her mission to protect as many as she could in the future. She trained as a warrior alongside the pride’s other guards before becoming a broodmother, and as a result, she can seem quite tough and intimidating at first sight, especially to outsiders, who she distrusts. However, despite being a bit overprotective at times, she is popular among her pride and a hero to the cubs she raises. Once you’ve gained her trust, she will be loyal until her last breath.
Despite being an elderly lioness, blind in one eye and beginning to lose her hearing, Khatiba is as sharp as ever. She may not be as fast as she used to be, but she keeps a watchful eye on the playing cubs from her resting spot. When they grow tired of running and wrestling, they gather around her to hear one of her stories. She loves to tell the cubs about legends passed down through the generations, of vicious battles and ancient gods. She is gentle and kind, balancing out Vikela’s fiery energy. You may have met her daughter Kuhle at the clan’s stockpile.
Amina is a very trustworthy lioness. She would die before she saw any of the cubs she protected be harmed. Her goal in life is to find a good home for each and every cub she can. She is confident, kind, and most important to her, gentle. If any cub gets hurt in her presence she will be sure to rush to it and care for it to the best of her ability. Though she may get suspicious of some lions, she does her best to trust every lion and lioness she comes across.

Tulight’s gaze trails over the cubs in the cave. He knew he had too many pride mates already, but he couldn’t help himself. An adolescent with brightly colored for catches his eye. The King watched her for a few moments before pushing himself to his paws and approaching her. As they spoke, she introduced herself as Cypress, a young female with a redwood pelt. She seemed proud that her birth mother is a Primal, even if they don’t speak much. As they speak, Tulight realizes that he’s taken a liking to her. 0 players like this post! Like? |

White Rose pads forward with his heir. Ice Blade looks around and nods slightly. The cold ground scraps against their feet as White Rose settles down to talk. "I have met another male lion he may want some cubs if he doesn't produce." White Rose said calmly. He layed there just watching as the cubs played then got up with a heave. He liked them all but with food scarce, he could not take any. He walked away slowly with a thud. *Also the lion he met is my side I will be getting in like in a month* 0 players like this post! King Jazu saunters over to the stunning adolescent who introduces herself as Carrie. She seems unsure at first as he greets her and introduces himself, but soon they seem to be getting along just fine. The golden-furred king had strayed away from home rather far. He knew his queens could handle the pride, made sure everybody was safe and fed when he was away. Archonei had quite the energy he needed to get rid of, and he did that by roaming around. The large lion was used to the rough desert weather, with a burning sun shining down upon him as days went by without rain. The nights were cold and the prey was scarce, though his pride knew exactly how to survive there. Suddenly, his attention was drawn towards a cave. His curiosity got the upper hand and he made his way inside, looking at the many adols and cubs hanging around there. A faint smile appeared on his face as his eyes were drawn to two cubs that were playing around together. The intelligence in the blue eyes of Glimmer had caught his eye, and so had the somewhat cherry color on Cupcake. He sat down and allowed the cubs to play with his long, fluffy tail for a while. There had been some cubs born in his pride recently, but they could use the fresh blood. He nudged the cubs over to the nearest broodmother. “I am willing to take those two with me, to my pride. I’m sure they’ll be in good hands with me.” He briefly looked to the side, noticing a younger lioness, Panther, staring at him from a distance. He figured she had been in here for quite a while, and then looked back to the broodmother. “And if she wants, I’ll take her too. She can help me carry the little ones back.” He gazed outside, the sun was already sinking back down to the horizon, and they still had a long way to go if they wanted to make it back home before the night fell. 0 players like this post! Duck padded into the den silently, acknowledging the bountiful of cubs and adolescents sitting around, waiting nervously. He sniffed the air and could smell the tense tone in these harsh times. Nighttime had fallen, and the journey here had been long. Duck frowned slightly, a little concerned. He shook off his worrisome thoughts as he recalled his intention of coming. He chatted casually with some of the young lions, whilst playing with some of the still awake and energetic cubs. He seemed to get along quite well with a young lioness named Lark. Duck turned to a broodmother, "I hope in these times that you'll allow young Lark to accompany me back to my pride. She will be sure to find a welcoming home there." Alfrēds had given homes to many stray cubs or those whose pride no longer had any place for them, He had even meet a few of his lionesses that way. He loved his family greatly, and always looked for ways to expand it. As he came upon the den, he was met by a lovely Ginger lioness with beautiful emerald eyes. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Alfrēds scans the den, smiling at the sight of the all little cubs. He sees a young female with Brass fur and eyes of fire, he heads towards her. "What is your name, young one ?", he asks her. "What's it to you ?", the young lioness smirks, Alfrēds smiles, remembering a similar lion, in his former pride, his oldest and most friend. "I am looking for young cubs and adols to join my family". "I think you would make a wonderful addition, and may I be so bold, I believe you would make a fabulous Queen one day".
