 This thread is part of the Ilanga’s Adoptions clan, although anyone can adopt cubs here. Please check it out, we’d love to have some new members! You are still welcome to request cubs, but keep an eye out for future changes! Welcome! This is one of Lioden’s longest-existing cub adoption threads, created in October 2018. It has since expanded into multiple shelters and a clan. It’s named after the owner’s first broodmother, Ilanga. All of the cubs here are free for the taking, as long as they are marked as “Adoptable”. All you have to do is write a quick roleplay, even if it’s just a couple sentences long. Once you’ve read the rules, you can speak to one of the broodmothers at the adoption center and let them know which cub(s) you would like! Rules -Please DO NOT kill/tree/sell a cub you get from us! They are looking for permanent homes. -You can adopt as many cubs as you like! Just make sure that you can actually care for all of them. -To make things easier for us, please specify the name of the shelter or broodmother you are adopting from in your roleplay. -You don’t need to include a link to the cub, just their name. -We generally have a first-come, first-serve policy, but if someone puts more effort into their roleplay or message, we might choose them instead. -Please do not argue with the decision of a shelter owner. However, if you have a problem (such as a cub not arriving, or receiving the wrong cub), don’t be afraid to reach out to us! -If you break the rules, we may prevent you from adopting a cub here in the future. -We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Born during the poaching season, Vikela lost many of her family and friends to vicious attacks when she was just a cub. She witnessed firsthand the deaths of countless cubs, and made it her mission to protect as many as she could in the future. She trained as a warrior alongside the pride’s other guards before becoming a broodmother, and as a result, she can seem quite tough and intimidating at first sight, especially to outsiders, who she distrusts. However, despite being a bit overprotective at times, she is popular among her pride and a hero to the cubs she raises. Once you’ve gained her trust, she will be loyal until her last breath.
Despite being an elderly lioness, blind in one eye and beginning to lose her hearing, Khatiba is as sharp as ever. She may not be as fast as she used to be, but she keeps a watchful eye on the playing cubs from her resting spot. When they grow tired of running and wrestling, they gather around her to hear one of her stories. She loves to tell the cubs about legends passed down through the generations, of vicious battles and ancient gods. She is gentle and kind, balancing out Vikela’s fiery energy. You may have met her daughter Kuhle at the clan’s stockpile.
Amina is a very trustworthy lioness. She would die before she saw any of the cubs she protected be harmed. Her goal in life is to find a good home for each and every cub she can. She is confident, kind, and most important to her, gentle. If any cub gets hurt in her presence she will be sure to rush to it and care for it to the best of her ability. Though she may get suspicious of some lions, she does her best to trust every lion and lioness she comes across.

Dew smiled back at him before nodding her head. She padded over to the two and whispered softly in their ear. Casie looked over at him and her eyes lit up with happiness. The king would talk to the cubs for a fur min and then turn to the caretaker “thank you so much these cubs will have a good home!” The lions would turn and would away the cubs tuning ahead of him 0 players like this post! Like? |

The king nodded and looked around at all of the adolescents and cubs. He wanted to get some that were perfect for his pride. Then four caught his eye the adolescents Brenna, Sky, Amber and Angel. He turned back to Red and said "I would like to get those four." He said nodding to them (Sorry I didn't see that you had responded!) Red followed his eyes to the four adolescents. She nodded before going to fetch the four of them. "Someone is here to adopt you." She said, flicking her tail back to the king. The four of them pranced over, exited as can be. They were happy they finally got adopted, since a lot of cubs had been adopted recently. A clean lioness walked into the nursery, looking around for some female cubs. She saw 3 beautiful cubs playing. “Excuse me, what are your names?” The lioness said looking down at the 3. “Aria!” One said “Rhuby” said another “Bastien” Said the final one. “Well, how would you all like to come with me?” The lioness said sweetly awaiting a reply. “Yes we would love to come with you!!!” They said exited. Chatter trotted along looking to see if he'd be able to come across another young male lion to add to his pride. Small flash backs of when he took in Sett returned to him doing so. Suddenly, he caught the scent of what seemed to be a large group of cubs. Hurrying over he entered an area of what seemed to be an adoption center! today seemed to be a lucky day. He turned his attention to two lions one a young male and the other a young lioness. He trotted over to the two seeing that the lioness had some sort of mutation. "What are you're names young ones?" he cooed his eyes fixed on the two. "Omar!" the male chirped. "Luna!" the other one added. Chatter smiled at the two. "What beautiful names indeed... Surely there's a brood mother around..." He approached Fisi, one of the brood mothers. "I hate to bother you, but would there be a chance i could adopt those two?" he said glancing over at Luna and Omar. He waited patiently for an answer. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Shattered Sky approached the shelter of Itanya, he heard that it was the newest one and was quite interested in seeing if there were any cubs that he could possibly take in for his pride. Once he went inside he saw quite a few cubs, but one in particular caught his eye. "Hello little one, what is your name?" he asked kindly. "Twister," the young cub replied. He approached the broodmother of Itanya and said, "I would love to adopt Twister and give her a new home, if you will allow me to of course." 0 players like this post! Like? |
