like I think this is a very good idea to show that in nature, a lion is going to get rejected a lot/ not fuck every lion they meet.

and if you are more into anthropomorphic lioden lions, then you could also take it as she's a different sexuality, or just doesn't have to date everyone.

Hey there! First of all, I'd like to begin stating that I'm all for representation as long as it is done in a proper, respectful fashion.

Aphrodisia has always been the "springtime" of Lioden as far as I've been around, and with the game being set from the perspective of animals, who get expecially lovey-dovey for whatever reason and from then on we have to protect our own harem from other males while trying to win over ladies from other prides - that's the mechanic of the whole event. With that said, I'm frankly on the fence with the suggested encounter.

On one hand, why not? But on the other the whole encounter consists on our main male being confused by the lioness' demeanor and either being slapped for approaching or receiving a gift for doing some sort of bow at her before she goes away. In other words, there is no actual indication of disinterest before we pick a choice, and the lioness in question overreacts quite a bit for simply approaching. I wouldn't have an issue with this if it weren't because the whole encounter is so humanized, and I think it portrays both people interested and disinterested in sexual relationships very poorly, as it is sort of assumed that we would force her to take part in something she is not interested in.

I mean, take a look at the two lionesses grooming each other, for example. We find them in explore, we either decide to flirt or just make friendly conversation, then move on because our flirting is completely useless or after having a pleasant chat with them - it is respectful for both parties.

With that said, I'm afraid I'll have to no support, at least while the whole encounter is suggested as it is right now.

I'm one of these people. ^^ I've nothing against sexualities, but February being the super heat month on Lioden, and lions being animals following their instincts, I just prefer the realism personally (even if there's a lot of unrealistic stuff in this game these days, but you know).

I have to agree with Berenos. While I think this idea would be okay in theory, the way it's phrased right now makes the lioness just seems really off??? Like if she comes up to you while grinning and then beats you up when you smirk at her....

It comes off as almost anime-like where a guy does literally nothing and the girl is like "I-It's not like I like you or anything!" and then slaps him across the face for no reason.
