So, this event has released a new method of doing tournaments, which I'm not against. However, the new system makes it really hard on lower stat kings and honestly, compared to the old way, just... sucks in general. I'm going to break down exactly what I (and others) have problems with and my fix ideas.

1. The stat brackets. For the most part, these are ok, until you get into Statty King territory. Then you are pairing 4k vs 10+ k statters and expecting it to be even the slightest bit fair. If you barely qualify into this bracket, you are getting your ass kicked before you even enter. My fix: Create new brackets. 4k-6k, then 6001-8k, 8001-10k, 10,001-15k, and 15,001+
Edit: My suggestion is to keep the new way still, just have it run the old way if (and only if) a tier doesn't fill with 8 lions for a tournament run. It could auto run an hour after the first lion enters if it doesn't fill with 8 lions, just to make sure tournaments do keep running for those who end up in possible higher tiers (example, a 13k-15k tier, where there might not be enough lions entering each tournament to get them to run regularly). That way that 4k+ tier COULD be broken down into multiple tiers without having to worry about the higher stat tiers not getting enough entries to make a tournament run. - Msasi (#21461)

2. PM notifications. What the heck. They get peoples hopes up that stud reqs, trade reqs, other transactions or whatever, have gone through, been finalized, or are waiting. People may see "New Inbox Message" and be like "omg what happened did i make money?! oh. nope. just a tournament." My fix: Why can't it be a fancy banner notif like challenges or hunts/patrols? 3. Manticore Beetle Payouts. Maybe I'm biased, or maybe I'm not, but the new way is trash. During the old way, even if you lost you'd get 1-2 MB for your troubles, but the new method means if you dont make it to at least second stage, you get jack-diddly-squat. Oh, ok,, you get a lizard or a tuft of fur. How is the userbase supposed to buy your gorgeous new event decor if half of them cant get a single MB because RNGesus decided everyone else wins and never us? My fix: return the 1-2 mb consolation prize. I'm pretty sure even if it's only 1 MB, we'd all be happier. At least it makes it feel worthwhile to entire the tournament.

4. "Trophy" payouts. For one, a new trophy was added that can only be obtained by random chance if you win at least once something that seems unbalanced in the current scheme of things, with many players constantly losing. My fix: tbh, I'm not sure which would be would be better? fixing the rng or adding the trophy to the losing payout too
