OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. You can have more than one. -Be nice! :) Anyone is allowed to join this roleplay as long as you follow this rule. Approaching the Ice Kingdom, they saw a fox and shared it between them. This was the part of the Ice Kingdom they liked the most, where it was cold for Aries and wet for Petrel. If they went further in, Petrel would get too cold, and if they went to the water, Aries wouldn't be able to breath. Seeing a colony of penguins, Petrel let out a gasp. Queen Sunshower glided slowly over the icy landscape, looking down at the kingdoms of the Icewings. Two guards flanked her on either side, watching for any potential threats. The cold air gripped Queen Sunshower with icy claws. She hated the cold. How could any dragon ever live here? After Queen Daydreamer's tragic death, the Rainwings had come together for Sunshower's coronation. She was pampered with food, gifts, and music... but none of it made her happy. She missed Queen Daydreamer, and she had a horrible feeling that she would never be able to live up to the title of queen. This feeling still lingered in her mind as she traveled across the Icewing kingdom. The cold of the region froze her wings stiff, and her scales felt as if they were about to fall off. Just as she was about to call to the guards for a break, a towering structure appeared on the landscape. She squinted her eyes, trying to make out what it was, before realizing that it was the palace. In front of a winding river, the Icewing palace stood tall and strong. It's towers of ice shot into the sky and glimmered in the cold sunlight. Paths wove around the palace like ribbons, and huge holes were carved into the towers and the heart of the palace. The river in front of the palace was adrift with icebergs and narwhals. Sunshower tried to imagine how cold it could be. She couldn't. As the Queen and the guards neared the Icewing palace, they slowed down and landed on the snow. Rainwing shivered at the freezing fluff on her talons. "We should wait here for some dragon to come get us. It would be rude to just fly in." 0 players like this post! Like? |

You would have to fly over the great wall and you wouldn't be able to cause it only always in icewing. ) Seal was resting , her back facing the door . She hated this alot but her tail still hurt and so did parts of her legs 0 players like this post! Like? |

Starchaser smiled in thanks as the heat spread across the ground, allowing himself to lay down, his head resting on the ground. The heat was strong enough to dry the soil out to where it wasn't too uncomfortable. He resumed watching as the Rainwings winged their way towards the desert, anxiety settling in his stomach. I should be helping them. The first sign of trouble, and I'll be over there. ----- Solstice was momentarily distracted by shapes flying towards the Ice Kingdom. She frowned, stepping forward. Rainwings? What would they be doing all the way out here? Her frown spread across her face, and she prepared to fly, when a twinge of pain interrupted her. Oh, right. My damn wing is still broken. She grunted in annoyance, before deciding to let out a roar of greeting. The Rainwings didn't look like they wanted to cause any trouble, and she knew them getting too close to the Wall would be a bad idea. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sunshower flinched at the queen's loud roar before realizing it was merely a friendly greeting. She relaxed her scales, nodding to the guards beside her and landing on the icy ground. She stared up at the queen, noticing a slight abnormality in her wing. She sighed. Did they fly out to this kingdom all for nothing? How would she be able to pass on the message if Queen Solstice couldn't get to them? She shook out her scales and roared back to the Icewing, returning the greeting. 0 players like this post! Like? |

((OOF. SORRY I'VE BEEN GONE SO LONG T^T at this time btw, the first, second and fourth eggs have hatched. The third is the one that never finished developing ;w; Seastar is a sort of mint greenish color, with patches of slightly darker greens, blues and icy blue-white, with pale yellow eyes. Colchis is several different shades of ocean blue, with dark amber eyes. Snowdream is the odd one out, having icy white-blue scales all over, with her mothers deep violet eyes. Unlike most Icewing-Seawing hybrids, she has both frostbreath and firebreath :'3)) Jade was quietly resting with her eyes half open, when she realized something was amiss among the eggs. The lifted her head sleepily, and counted which ones had hatched. 'One.. two.. three.......... what?' She noticed the third one, the one that was, for some reason, completely black, hadn't hatched. Her heart immediately sank, and she carefully shifts positions to pick up the egg in her talons. She carefully felt around the shell, and she gently pressed her 'ear' against the egg's outer shell. She heard no movement inside. No sound or sign of life inside the egg, which was completely still in her paws. She started realizing what was going on, and she threw her head back, unseen tears spilling down her cheeks and mixing with the already salty sea water. She howled with grief, a gut-wrenching sound that would make others tear up as well if they heard it, and it was also a call to her mother, Bermuda. She clutched the egg gently to her chest, wrapping the three hatched dragonets with her tail and hugging them close as she rocked slowly, holding her baby close to her as she made inaudibly wailing sounds. She realized her baby would never hatch, or ever see her face, or the light of day, ever..... because it was dead. 0 players like this post! Like? |

((oof, sure Bright x'3)) Jade pulls her babies close, nuzzling them gently with sad but proud eyes. She was still holding the black egg (the color was due to melanism) to her chest, her talons holding it like it might explode. Jade looks over at Seastar, and she beckons her closer with her empty paw, giving a warm, loving smile. She giggled inaudibly as Seastar went backward, shaking her head patiently. She sighs softly, inaudibly, blowing small bubbles from her mouth and nose. She pulls Colchis and Snowdream close as she waited for Seastar. She looks up as the healer and a messenger came in, and she frowns sadly. " 'The third egg is never hatching. It's... dead.' " She flashed her stripes at the two Seawings, who both bowed their heads in grief with the princess. The healer swam over, and carefully inspected the egg as Jade turns to the messenger. She told them to go out to the beach closest to the underwater palace, where she'd last seen Dreamwalker. She told the messenger to find Dreamwalker, and tell him to meet her on the beach as soon as he could. The messenger nodded, and quickly swam off to send the message. ----- Snowdream opens her eyes to find herself underwater, with a dragon (Jade) who she assumed was her mother. She noticed her brother and sister, Seastar floating about 2 feet away and Colchis curled up beside her, she lets out a soft chirp as bubbles rose from her mouth. She blinks, looking surprised. She then starts making more bubbles, though she stays put in the same spot. 0 players like this post! Like? |
