OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. You can have more than one. -Be nice! :) Anyone is allowed to join this roleplay as long as you follow this rule. Landing at the cave, Aries roared for Petrel, letting out a sigh of relief when he showed his head. "Aries? What's all the ruckus about?" Petrel coughed out. "Nothing, just rest, you are still sick" Aries retorted, dodging the question. Rushing Petrel to his nest, Aries started to cover the cave entrance with vines, allowing it to look abandoned. It was a warm, misty day in the Rainforest Kingdom, as always. Sunshower sat on a smooth, large bottom of a roaring waterfall. Cool water sprayed from the falls and cooled Sunshower's scales. A pale, thin rainbow shot out of the river below. Sunshower closed her eyes, savoring the sweet sensation of warm sun and misty air. She had enjoyed coming to this exact place since she was just out of her egg, since.... Since her mother died. She shook the thought out of her head and tried to think about something else. Her bright blue-green eyes fell on the rainbow.. Was it always there? The waterfall never stopped, so why should the rainbow? Did it shine even at night, when nobody could see it? Did it stand, waiting for someone to discover it's beauty? Sunshower rolled onto her back and stretched out her wings. The heat of the sun made her shift colors, from her usual blue-gray and gold to a warm red and orange. This was her paradise. Nobody ever followed her out here. Snowstorm was hunting wolves and scavengers near the ice kingdom, as she did every time she could, for she had to hide at any sign of danger and had little time to hunt and was getting hungry. Solstice frowned a little, slightly displeased at the idea, but she decided to give it a thought. "Perhaps I can do that. But I won't use more than a couple guards if I do decide to do so. They have families, and they have duties here, as well. Ultimately, she is not my responsibility." As cold as it was, Solstice would prefer to focus on her tribe - they had been through hell, and she knew she needed to be there to help them through the aftermath of yet another battle. It wasn't fair to send several of her guards out right away, right after such a battle. "My primary concern is my tribe; they come first. But rest assured that I will not leave her to Barb's talons." “I-i wouldn’t want to separate anyone from their family, but I’ll try to stay hidden and close by.” She said softly, before turning to a large mound of snow and began to dig out a hollow in it, to try making a shelter. She pounded the snow into bricks and stacked them around the snowy hill she was digging out. She managed to clear the ground of snow and make the top of the hill sturdy so it wouldn’t cave in on her. “Uh- can I have a bucket, and wood with some tools? I need to complete this thing. Serac grinned toothly at Solstice, nodding in approval as she spoke. As much as he hated to admit it, his Solstice was a good queen. Probably even the best, he thought, or at least the best a queen could be. His attention was returned to Sahara, as she started to make her home outside the wall. The icewing tilted his head, as if remembering something he'd rather not, and turning towards Solstice. "Those 3 little bracelets," he asked, "The gift of diplomacy, weren't they? Could I perhaps retrive one for her so she can at least have the protection of the wall. She wouldn't be able to go very far, but even being up against it is enough to protect her from that brute they call queen." -- Ocelot caught up with Mango, making his head a dark green colour so he could be seen against the sky. Solstice's head whipped about from where she had been staring, at Sahara, as she attempted to make her den. The idea of letting the Sandwing so close to her tribe's lands concerned her, hence why she hadn't given the bracelets much thought. Then again, she could always station guards to watch her until she felt as if she were trustworthy enough to be unwatched. She nodded slowly, staring off into the distance as she pondered. "Yes, I believe that would be something that would work." She stepped closer to Serac, leaning her head down. "If you are to retrieve one, you'll have to go into my throne room. There is a chest in a corner of the room hidden off behind a tapestry. They were originally in the treasury, but keeping them closer to me was a better idea, in my opinion. If you need a guard to accompany you and show you to my throne room, you are welcome to have one come with you." She spoke quietly - not many dragons knew where she had put them at; not that she had had any traitors in her midst before, but it was better to be cautious, she believed. ----- Scorpius watched nervously as Mango and Ocelot began to wing their way towards where they all assumed Trunk was - he figured they would need the help, and it was now or never; in a split second decision, he turned to Koala once more. "Perhaps you should stay here? You'll be putting yourself in danger if you come with us." He offered, concern filling his voice. The last thing he wanted was for Trunk to end up injuring, or worse, killing Koala. There was no way to tell what exactly Trunk was capable of doing, and now that his morals were out of the way, what he wouldn't hesitate to do. 0 players like this post! Like? |
