Decay A feminine, monotone voice echoes through the halls of a suburban family home, "An estimated 250 dogs live at the plant itself, 225 in the city of Chernobyl, and hundreds more roam around, for a total of more than 1,000, according to SPCA International. Wolves and the need for food have driven the dogs from wooded areas surrounding the plant into the Exclusion Zone." - Spcai "Don't watch something so depressing, sweetie. The puppies are fine." The screen goes black. setting music The city is picturesque from the television screen. Though living amongst the crumbling, overgrown, radioactive buildings is another hell entirely. Dogs whose ancestors were abandoned by their masters in order to escape the explosion generations ago still remain here to this day, too far into the Exclusion Zone to be saved by any humans residing outside of Chernobyl. Many have been born with birth defects, sometimes visible but more often affecting their minds, organs and lifespans. Two major packs have risen out of the dust, Abolition and Insurgent. The packs have always been at odds but due to the encroachment of wolves and low resources, space is low and tempers are at an all time high. Can they come together to overcome the odds or will their own greed tear them down? Abolition Abolition's territory consists of the Nuclear Power Plant itself, surrounding water channels and a small portion of woodlands. Leader(s): Mercy Beta: Kirtonos Delta: Scouts: Nikita, Healer: Dove Warriors: Quillon, Levi, Gabu, Apate Elders: Pups: Insurgent Insurgent territory lies further into the City of Chernobyl they use an abandoned hospital as their base camp and own most of the surrounding city. Nikita / Abolition Scout / Location: Abolition Territory / Mentions: Open The woodlands were thick with morning dew, the smell of leaf litter and rising winds tingling Nikita's senses with interest. The hound dog padded silently through the territory of her pack, her head low to the ground. She diligently tracked her prey, peering between the vegetation to fixate her vision on the fat duck that picked idly through the forest floor, scavenging loudly. She tensed, paused, and launched her body through the air, pouncing squarely on the creature, feathers flying. A small noise barely escaped the duck before Nikita painlessly ended its life with a swift bite to the slender neck. She raised her head, the bird dangling from her mouth. This was a sizable prey item, though the scarcity of hunts before meant it was even more valuable. The scout dipped back silently into the forest, stashing her duck beneath a particularly smelly flower bush, which would hopefully mean it would be there once she finished her hunt. Nikita knew she could bring at least a squirrel or chipmunk home as well, if only to slightly stave the hunger her pack was dreading. The times since the war were growing harder and harder, the wasteful land growing only more barren as radioactive creatures tried to survive. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Quillon | Abolition | Warrior | Location: Abolition Territory | Mentions: Rulitis, Levi, Gabu, Mercy, Kirtonos Quillon had skulked after the other two warriors without much fuss after Levi's hasty explanation of the situation. As he entered he flopped the limp carcass of the fawn down amidst the kill pile, grimacing a bit at the beady-eyed mutant amongst the bodies. He had little to no interest in what hubbub was happening at camp, he had no intention of staying in the presence of his other pack members past dropping off his morning findings. His name being spoken by the leader caused the brute to glance up from the prey, a sour look forming on his face as her words registered in his mind. A flower-picking party? Herb collecting wasn't his particular cup of tea, and the thought of having to make the trek to the cooling towers at this time of day, during this season.. No thank you. He lets out a soft grumble of protest as he glances around at the other males and finally settles his gaze on the healer's den. Kardama | Loner | Location: Abolition Outskirts | Mentions: Kaz, Aleksei Kardama snorts and shifts her weight between her front paws, eyes never trailing away from the two canines in front of her, "I will carry him." She says reluctantly, her ragged ears twitching haphazardly as mosquitoes wandered too near her face. "But only to the border, I'm not interested in getting ambushed by your hawkish leader." She adds quickly. Her face crumples a bit as she takes in her own words, regret setting in immediately as she realizes this could easily be a trap. She studies the two other dogs thoughtfully for a moment before tearing her gaze away and sighing impatiently, "Let's get this over with then, I'd rather get in and out of these parts quickly." Judah | Loner | Location: Insurgent Territory | Mentions: Ellesmera The collie mix's gate was rather bouncy as he skittered across the hot pavement on his three legs. Whatever idiotic reasoning he had admixed together in his head to enter Insurgent territory had apparently won the battle against reason in his mind. Perhaps it was pure curiosity, or the alluring scent of a freshly killed rabbit that pulled him into danger once again. It seemed as though things were going well on his excursion, he hadn't ran into that dark-coated she devil at least, and.. Judah's legs lock together and he comes to a screeching halt as he spots the rather close figure of a dog ahead of him, odd that he hadn't noticed it before. His head and body move in a quite feral fashion as he tries to catch the scent and read the characteristics of this strange canine. They seemed to be a part of the Insurgent pack but a member that the fluffy-coated male didn't immediately recognize. That could rule in his favor. "Good day, ma'am." He calls out, tail waving in a friendly fashion behind him. "Just crossing through on my way.. home." He adds. His body stays facing the female but his brown eyes dart away to find an escape in case things turned rotten. He straightens his posture and offers a smile. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ellesmera// Insurgent Scout // Location: Insurgent territory // Mentions: Judah, Open She hadn't been paying particularly close attention, with her eyes drifting across the horizon in hopes of catching sight of an oddity, perhaps a horribly mutated creature to excite her morning. Unfortunately her search had turned up empty, until the foreign scent of an intruder washed over the young female and forced her hackles to raise. She found her long legs stiffening and muscles tensing as he came to a sudden halt, her posture more uncomfortable rather than threatening. What in the names of the ancestors was this outsider doing tromping around on their marked territory? One had to be nose-blind to not realize they were crossing into Insurgent turf! The scout eyed the stranger cautiously, uncertain of his motives on their territory. He didn't stink of freshly killed prey, which would rule better in his favor, otherwise she'd report him promptly. Elle wasn't interested in stirring up trouble, nor was she keen on chatting with other canines. Regardless, she was a scout, and reports were her duty. The swift and almost desperate flickering of his eyes informed the female that he was seeking an escape route, which only strengthened the uneasy feeling in her gut. Was he trying to run from something? Had he stolen something from their healer? "You do that." While her reply came up short, it was clear that Ellesmera had no interest in partaking in any quarreling. Socialization had proven to not be her forte, but her curiosity was strong. What else lay out there, beyond the reaches of the two packs? Could this strange character have the answer to all unknown? "Just keep in mind that I'm awfully good with faces and scents, so no funny business." She sounded detached as she spoke, glancing over her shoulder as if to check and see if anyone was watching. After a few moments of silence, she decided that it was safe to speak her mind, to let her curious side have at it. "It takes guts for an outsider to cross into Insurgent land, especially when tensions are high with Abolition. I don't think you're here to just 'walk on through'." Once more, her voice lacked venom, and instead hummed with a desire for knowledge. "So what are you doing here?" As long as he wasn't a petty theft, she really didn't mind having a stray crossing through every once and a while. It was a fresh face, someone who might not judge her for her strange interests. After all, her only real friends were either inanimate objects, or her beetle pal, Jerry. Jerry...may he rest in peace. ----------------------------- Kirtonos// Abolition Beta// Location: Abolition Camp // Mentions: Mercy, Gabu, Rutilis, Dove, Open The shepherd mix felt his jaws tighten as he bit back a cry of protest at Mercy's command. He wanted to be out on that patrol! For the short period of time he had been constrained to camp, he already felt horribly claustrophobic and useless. Every muscle in his frame screamed at him to return to his typical active state, to pace along the borders of Abolition and challenge anyone who dare to set foot across the markers. Guardianship was in his blood. His ancestors had been bred for it, and it lived on just as much in him as it had in them. So, he decided that not only would he obey her orders to stay low-key in camp, but he used that brain of his to manipulate them to a degree. Ok, so he'd take it easy in camp...but he wasn't going to lay around like some slacker, like a lazy old lapdog. "I'll help Dove set up some bedding for that pup." Kirtonos spoke without little hesitation, his words slipping out of his mouth quickly before he trotted off with long, quick strides to escape before his leader might protest. Hah! A job!! Haha!!! However, it was at that moment that he mentally groaned at himself for being such a fool. The shepherd never like pups, or at least they were yet to wear on him. They were slobbery, gross, and clingy, all traits he clearly disliked (considering his bachelor lifestyle), but he had already set himself to the task. Besides, the kid was pretty out of it from the sound of it, surely he couldn't...infect Kirtonos with his cooties. Yuck. On the bright side, he did find Dove to be decent company, at least when she wasn't attempting to force her nasty green things on him. Plus, he also found her attractive, like Mercy. Tail held high and waving behind his clearly sloped back, Kirtonos made his way to Dove's den, poking his head inside and recoiling slightly at the overwhelming scent of young blood and bear, an even stronger and fouler scent. "Do you need me to set anything up for him? A bed, or something?" He was clearly desperate to do something, even if it had to be minor. 0 players like this post! Like? Kaz | Loner | Location: Abolition Woodland | Mentions: Aleksi, Kardama Kaz whimpered again, but got up and inched over to Aleski. At least one of them was nice. "D-do you know if I'm anywhere near my home?" He wriggled under the larger dog's chest, whining. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dove | Abolition | Healer | Location: Abolition Territory | Mentions: Rutilis, Kirtonos The shepherd mix's eyes softened and she gave the golden pup a mournful look as she inquired about his parents again, "I don't know, Ru." She replies, pausing a moment in front of her barren collection of herbs. For now she would have to clean the wound and stop it from bleeding, she could treat it for infection once the warriors returned with more supplies. His parents.. She takes her eyes off of the plants and glances down at the floor. The thought of this pup alone stirred a troubling feeling of grief in her heart and an aching tinge of maternal instinct seemed to be creeping higher in her chest as well. "Oh dear-" She says, rushing to place a bit of fibrous plant against Rutilis' scalp to stop the bleeding. The presence of Kirtonos suddenly comes to her attention as well and she glances at him, "No, I believe I have it-" She gives him a second glance, the desperation on her beta's face almost making her chuckle. "I suppose you could gather a few pelts for his bed and bring them here for me." She says lightheartedly, dismissing him with a flick of her tail as she focuses on the task of cleaning and bandaging the wounded youngster in front of her. "Be still, this will sting a bit at first but it should make it feel much better in a moment." She collects the salve that she had used on Kirtonos later that day and quickly removes the makeshift cloth, rubbing it into the wound and nodding to herself as it puts a stop to most of the blood. She retrieves a clean bit of fiber and places it against the balm gingerly, dipping her head to be level with Rutilis', "See? Much better." She says softly, her tail thumping apologetically behind her. Judah | Loner | Location: Insurgent Territory | Mentions: Ellesmera Judah shifts his weight, letting out a nervous chuckle as the strange female responds to him, "No funny business, I promise." He says comically, his ears lying back slightly as she began to question him further, "Truthfully, I'm just passing through." He repeats, a bit more demanding this time. His gaze shifts to the buildings nearest to him, as if he were awaiting another dog to jump out and come for his throat. The heat of the asphalt under his feet was growing painfully uncomfortable and he moves to the side, in a hopping motion, onto the shorter plants growing beside the road all the while facing the figure ahead of him. "I have no intention of sticking around if you'll just allow me to pass by." He says finally, a soft sigh of relief escaping his mouth as the pads of his paws hit the cool grass. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Daya / Insurgent beta / Location: Insurgent camp / Mentions; Veira, Daigo, Achak (Aleksi & Ellesmara indirectly) The Insurgent beta drew her eyes off of Achak and to Daigo, her dark eyes peering at him curiously. "And you? Did you discover anything on your morning excursion?" She hummed, her shepherd ears pointed forward, making her expression all the more intense. The brindled canine glanced at her alpha momentarily, still lightly distracted by her wound. "Where is our healer? And scout? I feel like I should go track them down. Something must be keeping them to be gone this long," she growled softly, wondering what danger they may have stumbled upon. Daya does not seem like a dog bothered with anxiety, but the working breeds that make her lineage often keep her mind racing at 90 miles per hour, her thoughts often concluding to the worst case scenario. She glanced at the door as though the mention of her packmates would send them through the entrance, and when it didn't, she rose to her paws determinedly. Daigo / Insurgent warrior / Location: Insurgent camp / Mentions; Veira, Daya, Achak (Ellesmara & Aleksi indirectly) The massive black and tan male was jolted sharply back into reality at Daya's questioning glare, his mind slowly processing what she'd asked. "Nothing out of the ordinary," he grunted, and found his response to be more than enough as the beta immediately moved on to their packmates. Daigo licked his lips and sat back on his haunches, his large body slow to respond to his movements. Gravity sure is a bitch, he thought to himself, briefly wishing his frame was as nimble and light as Daya's. He wasn't all too concerned for Ellesmara, she had a tendency to wander and her curious nature often meant tasks took her double the average amount of time. Aleksi's tardiness was a little odd, though, the healer usually staying at camp unless joined by Daigo or another packmate. There was too much risk involved with losing the pack healer. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ellesmera// Insurgent Scout // Location: Insurgent territory // Mentions: Judah, Open Way to go, Elle, you idiot!! You're just absolutely talented at scaring everyone off, weirdo. The female felt disappointment well up in her throat, but she forcefully swallowed it. He wouldn't be the first she frightened off, and he surely wouldn't be the last. However, his sudden movement to hop off the pavement (likely due to his three legs, to no fault of his own) forced the female to lurch, her posture dropping into something more defensive, like she was half expecting him to run in her direction. She quickly attempted to regain herself and force her prickling fur flat, eyes narrowed at the outsider who had no interest in conversing with her. "Then get moving." The scout responded at last, the same dismay thick and heavy in her voice. The mutt sniffed at him silently before sitting down calmly, to may it clear that she wouldn't back off until he was out of her sight. Well, at least she could spend the rest of her morning run checking up on the local insect life. There was a buzzing bee hive nearby stuck to the side of a building that was in ruins. It was very accessible, and even though it would seem foolish, she was keen on having a look at it. Its resources could prove useful to their healer, assuming the bees could still be deterred by smoke. Ellesmera wasn't overjoyed by the idea of causing the insects any harm, however, it was best to be safe. Ancestors knew what the radiation might have done to them. Hopefully, it only made their honey extra sweet. ---------------------------------------------- Kirtonos// Abolition Beta// Location: Abolition Camp // Mentions: Rutilis, Dove, Open Oh. It was conscious. For a moment, the beta looked incredibly awkward and uncomfortable under his dense coal fur, amber eyes darting over to the golden pup and then onto something else. "Oh, uh..." Stars, nobody said kids would be part of the job! Kirtonos cleared his throat, failing to make eye contact with Rutilis as if he was a sight for sore eyes (although, considering the poor pup's state, he may have been) and instead looking back over to Dove briefly. "Erm, I'm Kirtonos. I'm the beta around here." He was relieved and overly enthusiastic when she agreed to allow him to fetch some pelts. His ears pricked and his honey colored pools even appeared to lighten, and his long plumy tail began to wag from side to side. "They'll be the best pelts you've ever laid eyes on, m'lady." Kirtonos assured his healer with a small step to the side, preparing to exit once more to dash off to his next task. "Even if your own has to be the loveliest I've ever set eyes on." Oops- did he say that out loud? Goodness gracious, there was a pup in the room! Clearly, he wasn't good with the youngsters. Well, he couldn't resist, it was simply who he was. Turning with a semi-charming semi-cheeky grin plastered across his face, he darted out of Dove's domain to go find some worthy skins. 0 players like this post! Like? Kardama | Loner | Location: Abolition Outskirts | Mentions: Kaz, Aleksei Afraid? She pondered this strange male's words for a moment, churning them over in her head as she stepped closer to the pair. "Perhaps. I'm not interested in getting caught in the territory of such a hostile dog, or stupid enough." ..Unlike someone. She bites her tongue to keep the words from slipping out though she pauses to gaze at Aleksei for a moment and raises a war-torn eyebrow, splaying her front paws apart in order to bend and pick up the mangy pup by the back. If it had been an Abolition pack member, and not herself, who found these two it might not have been such a cordial interaction. She swings around, motioning for Aleksei to follow. She wasn't interested in him leading in the least, she knew her way around these parts and wasn't too keen on getting lead right into the jaws of Veira by this wandering healer. She emerges from the brush and steps back out onto the road, following it the opposite way this time. Her stomach churns as she remembers the horse she had been tracking and what a good meal it would have made, but she soothes herself with the thought of it perhaps being a bit too big for her to enjoy without wasting the meat.. whatever helps her sleep at night. Judah | Loner | Location: Insurgent Territory | Mentions: Ellesmera Judah lets out a subtle snort of triumph as Ellesmera verbally allowed him to pass, though the fact that she hadn't moved away made him hesitate in his movements. He eyed the fluffy female wearily for a moment before stepping forward, giving her a wide birth as he passed. As soon as his figure swept past hers he broke into a sprint, his singular back leg causing him to run in an odd fashion. His tongue lolled out and he chuckled to himself, his head cocking back and forth in a happy fashion. Easy. His mind raced on what to do next, he could easily dip further into Insurgent territory once he was out of this scout's eye shot. The fact that he hadn't ran into any other members of the pack meant they were most likely back at camp though.. not a good outcome for him. His mouth snaps shut and he hums to himself in thought as he slows back down to a trot, sending one last glance over his shoulder at the other dog. Perhaps it was best if he laid low for now, he could always come back later once the sun had set. His stomach growls in protest at his plan and he shushes it, sighing and turning himself to leave the territory. He hoped that Ellesmera had seen him leaving, that meant no pack members would come looking for him later.. hopefully. Veira | Insurgent | Leader | Location: Insurgent Camp | Mentions: Daya, Daigo (Directly) Achak, Ellesmera and Aleksei (Indirectly) Her eyes snap back open at her beta's words and the fur bristles a bit on the back of her neck. Gone? Aleksei and Ellesmera? She follows Daya's gaze towards the entrance and a sour look forms on the features of the slender female, "I'm sure they're just busy." She says reassuringly, though the menacing way her shoulders hunched as she brought herself back to her feet told a different story entirely. Ellesmera had a good excuse for being away this long, as she was probably busy patrolling the border. Aleksei on the other hand.. Veira could only hope he had a suitable reason for disappearing out of camp this morning and not returning to his post. She couldn't quite get the fur to lay flat on her back as she began stalking towards the broken doors of the hospital, "I'll be back shortly, though if you three want to tag along you're free to do so." She pauses to add before slipping out into the sunlight. The heat rising off the pavement made her immediately uncomfortable and she pulls her head up from it's brooding position to sniff the air. Nothing.. really. The air was still and the wind was blocked off by the towering buildings, making the high temperatures even more unbearable. She would just have to follow the border of the territory to find them, it was a good place to start anyway since that's where Ellesmera was usually found.. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Daya / Insurgent beta / Location: Insurgent territory / Mentions; Veira, Daigo (Aleksi indirectly) The shepherd mutt darted after her alpha, her tail curling immediately over her back and her head lowered. Daya grimaced a bit as her pawpads hit the pavement, searing heat radiating up her legs. She glanced toward Veira who seemed to be heading for the border. "We should check our closest border to Abolition. If anyone would dare stoop low enough to injure our healer, it's them," she growled, malice coating her words. Just the thought of the opposing pack laying paws on a valuable member such as Aleksi made the brindled female's hackles rise in a short mohawk down her back. Daya glanced back, realizing Daigo was also coming along, and nodded a bit to the male as a quiet thanks. It would be in their favor to have a patrol with three packmates as intimidation in case of the discussed situation. ____________________________________________________ Daigo / Insurgent warrior / Location: Insurgent territory / Mentions; Daya, Veira Daigo was quick to go after his alpha and beta, feeling a bit odd leaving two of their leading pack members to patrol solo. It wasn't as though the two females hadn't done it before, as stubborn as they both were, but he figured if he had the opportunity to go along he should. He glanced at Daya hearing her words of threat and narrowed his eyes, ears flattening a bit. "Hey, we have absolutely no evidence to go on that Abolition did anything. I agree that we should check, but I wouldn't be so ready for a war. We're both under strict terms of agreement," he reminded her gently, knowing that one false accusation could immediately threaten the peace they worked so hard to maintain. With food sources becoming more and more scarce, the canines desperately needed to avoid fighting. Injuries were an immense threat, especially without proper nutrition. The mastiff mix glanced toward their alpha a bit pleadingly, hoping she would recognize his words and not encourage Daya's quick temper and paranoia. ____________________________________________________ Nikita / Abolition scout / Location: Abolition territory / Mentions; Kardama, Aleksi, Kaz (Mercy and Kirtonos indirectly) The hound female paused her stalking as a strong wind hit her nose, carrying the incredibly faint smells of canines. A smell most dogs would have missed, a smell they may have even ignored under the pretense that the Abolition camp was not too far away. But Nikita had a boiling feeling in her gut, a feeling of curiosity and slight fear. It came from the Insurgent border. No, they wouldn't dare cross our lines, she paused, would they? Should I get someone? No, if I'm wrong it will only bring unnecessary bloodshed. Nikita knew if she brought news to camp of strange dog smells at the territory bordering Insurgent Mercy and Kirtonos would likely immediately launch an attack, their bloodlust thinly veiled by an insistence that the pack needed protecting from the others. Insurgent was just as likely starved and weak from the recent decline and a border invasion would mean certain death for many members; possibly even killing both packs entirely. She shook her floppy ears and made a decision, trotting quickly and quietly to the smells. The hound broke into a run and as she neared, slowed to a trot, then to the point of crawling through the undergrowth. She kept downwind, hoping that none of the strange smells belonged to a canine with a nose like hers, her hetero chromatic eyes peering through the shrubs. A large female stood over one she recognized as the Insurgent healer, cradling what looked like... a pup? The healer went to grab the pup with mouth open and Nikita burst out, fear and determination electrifying her limbs. "Hey! Don't you dare hurt that pup!" She barked, a growl rumbling through her chest. Her short fur spiked into hackles down her spine, her head low. She always felt she looked goofy when she snarled due to her floppy jowls, so her expression remained unconsciously lax, opposing her ferocious body language slightly. 0 players like this post! Kardama | Loner | Location: Abolition Outskirts | Mentions: Kaz, Aleksei, Nikita Kardama dropped her head and loosened her grip on Kaz, setting the wounded pup on the ground before pushing him into safety behind her with a swift movement of her paw. She remained abnormally stoic as the Abolition scout approached, though the fur began to rise on her back as the growl from the other dog made it's way to her ears. "Hurt him? What do you take me for, scout?" Her tone of voice was quite calm, though her lips pulled back out of instinct to reveal her pearly white canines. "I belong to no pack, I am only trying to get him medical attention." She snaps out, stepping forward a bit to keep the attention on herself and not the two dogs behind her, though her hulking frame seemed to be keeping them out of eyesight quite well. "I have no intention of causing a quarrel, but if you intend on keeping me from leaving I will defend myself." She lowered her head to study the other canine. Normally taken as a submissive gesture, in this case she was only bracing for the possibility of an attack. Quillon | Abolition | Warrior | Location: Abolition Territory | Mentions: Mercy, Gabu, Levi The fur on his shoulders stood up as Mercy addressed him, biting his tongue until he could taste iron in his mouth to keep from spitting an idiotic retort back at her in his rage. Considering your reputation. The truth of her words made a pang of guilt rise up in his stomach and his eyes followed his leader as she swept past him, making her way to the healer's den. The sting of her tail hitting his side set something off in the brute and he swiveled away from her direction to keep from lashing out at her with his teeth, instead he ground them together with an audible crackling noise. Quillon's padded feet instinctively began carrying him towards the doors exiting the plant, though he cast a fiery glance at the two dogs supposedly joining him on his trek as he passed them, "Once you've found out what plants we'll be picking, I'll be waiting for you outside." He said in a rushed and annoyed tone to both of them, his eyes snapping back forwards as he pushed his way outside into the sunlight. He paced back and forth for a bit in an attempt to calm himself, though the discomfort he felt from the heat and moisture in the air made him all the more angry. Dove | Abolition | Healer | Location: Abolition Camp | Mentions: Mercy, Kirtonos, Rutilis Dove's dark, ashen eyes studied the golden pup at her feet as he spoke to the other members of her pack. She was quite taken aback by the fact he was so comfortable in the presence of so many strange canines, though it didn't show on her placid face. Perhaps she had grown accustomed to the flashing teeth and suspicious gazes of the adult loners in the area, their hearts already walled off by hardship. The presence of this young one, unafraid of the world and still full of wonder, spurred the fondness she felt in her heart for those she had met and still had yet to meet. Though it had never left, it had substantially dampened due to the recent circumstances surrounding Abolition. She nods to Kirtonos as the dark coated canine enthusiastically spouts out something about lovely pelts and what-not. Her face flashes a confused expression for a moment as she broods over what he had just said, "My pelt? I-" She peers down at the fur on her chest, searching to see if something was possibly stuck in it. The intent of his words finally registered to the pale-coated lass and she flattened her ears. Oh. As she looks back up, her beta's sly frame was replaced by her leaders in the door-frame. She makes eye contact with Mercy as a rush of embarrassment washes over her, "He's quite brazen, isn't he?" She inquires with a soft chuckle while clearing her throat, slowly rising to her feet.
