I haven't seen that anywhere either, btw. But for some reason a lot gets said in chat and not officially announced. I have issues with that, but that's neither here nor there.

That was, in fact, introduced bcause complete RNG for such a valuable item was sooooo hated by the community. Also thesame for Solaris and Mukombero. ...which is basicslly the same case here. People hate the severe RNG required to gather 210 shards in 30 days.

Yes they made the very long very costly quest but still stated that they do not plan on making them any easier to obtain it was the same when they introduced tigons

It's rare and hard to come by so I guess people will just keep posting these asking for them to be easier and cheap

I got the app out of there five RNG things released it's the only one I've gotten and I'm good with it and it should stay the same

As a person who doesn't have the time nor energy (or health mentally) to grind for two hundred plus fucking shards, this is a ridiculous comparison. You are comparing things that are PURPOSEFULLY rare, that CAN be seen on both sexes, that ARE worth something. Interstellar, Solaris, fucking tigons - these are all rare with reason! Interstellar is a pretty base to some, Solaris was always meant to be a rare app because it's a very special base, Interstellar and Solaris can be viewed on both sexes! It can also be a challenge to breed it, thus upping it's worth and value as something that IS rare!

Tigons come in both sexes, and this is a terrible comparison to a MANE app because these are HYBRIDS. Hybrids were always rare, Leopons are a ton of people's goals on this site for good reason. Leopons and Tigons were never hinted at as ever being easy to get, even with RNG's help (which is few and far between), these are not natural or easy things to make even in captivity with the resources around. Now take that into comparison with a game where lions are fully wild and it makes sense why tigers are hard to come across to even barely breed with your lionesses, and you've got a difficult/challenging but sometimes fun and rewarding breeding project.

Manes are the exact opposite of this. Manes were always super, super easy to get - you could virtually slap any two lions together and most of the time you'd get the mane you wanted (typically it's a 50/50 chance on my part but sometimes give or take). AND these can only be viewed perfectly on a male lion, making them virtually worthless on a lioness, besides Succubus (which can be bred with the two arguably more worth it mane-apps). 210 shards is ABSURD for a mane app in an event where the applicators aren't meant to be a super duper pain in the ass to achieve and gather, and like Commie has said before - this is simply a pain in the ass!

210 shards is not a few, and this is not year round like Fuschia. These are also not cheap either! Shards can easily be 150+SB each, and last time I checked they were 300SB each. Imagine having to spend 63,000 SB just to get some stupid mane that you could breed from virtually any lioness and lion pair. This is what is pissing me and Commie off, the fact that this MANE applicator is so ungodly to get, when it isn't at all worth it. When the event is almost CHARACTERIZED by it's easiness to obtain items like Crunchy Worms and Base Apps. When people don't have the time, the patience, or any of that to devote their entire lives to this game's one month long event.

That is why me and Commie are upset. That's why a LOT of people are upset about this - and they have reason to be! 210 is NOT a small number, 14 APPLICATORS is not a small number in comparison to 30+ common found explore items. It is simply put; not worth it for many people, and ridiculous to even try and accomplish when people on here have jobs, school, real life things that get in the way! It just isn't fair to have this randomly splurge out of left field without even a proper mention of the fact it was going to be 14 applicators.

With that said, I hope y'all's Halloween was alright. Sorry for the rant <3

incubus mane already isn't rare. it's only been a few weeks since crafting was unlocked and you can get incubus cubs for fodder prices... i bought one for 60sb the other day and gave it to the gorilla lol

I'll say it again, I'm glad you managed it, but many of us haven't or had to do it through other means. I gave up a grain of paradise and several gmo cows to cover the difference of what I lacked to craft the app once. I would take it back and not have done it if I didn't like the mane so much, but alas. It would've been so much easier if it had been 'a few' of each app like they had originally said it would be.
