I understand that this might be a controversial suggestion, but I've got a few ideas on how this would world nicely. Why this MIGHT be a good idea? 1. It allows people to take breaks from their projects without feeling stressed about it, and they're able to continue from right where they left off. It would honestly relieve a lot of stress, and you wouldn't have to worry about needing to get a clone in order to take a break. Your overall experience of the game would be better, you can fall back and just take a break without ruining any progress you've made. 2. It might just be that you miss one of your old kings for whatever reason. I think it should definitely be possible to bring the king back! There would of course be reasonable restrictions, and fees to bypass some of the restrictions. 3. You might have a perfect lioness(s) in your pride that you want to breed with king in your dynasty. (From #87017) If you can think of any more reasons, let me know! I'm happy to add them to the list. How can this be added to the game in a way that would be safe for the economy? I had a few ideas, but after talking about it with a few friends, I think this would be my best idea. Basically, it would be like normal retirement, except with an additional fee of 15 GB to bring back a dynasty king. You STILL have to pay the 10 GB forced retirement fee if your king is under 15. If you are on a retirement cooldown, you STILL have to pay the 15 retirement fee. If all these apply to you, it would cost a total of 40 GB for you to bring back an old king. If your king is 15 years of age, there is no retirement fee, it's free. If you wanted to bring an old king back, it would only cost 15 GB, no other fees. There are two ways that I found work best for my next idea. When bringing back a king, I think it might be an unfair advantage to have his mutation and heritage, too. A way that we can get around that is by having a chosen heir in replacement for the king's heritage, and would replace the king's mutation too. You'd be bringing back an old king's APPEARANCE on CHOSEN HEIR'S heritage, mutation AND STATS. Another way we can deal with this is by simply using the CHOSEN HEIR'S heritage AND STATS with the old king's APPEARANCE, and wiping the mutation if there is one from the heir cub/old king. This would ONLY happen when bringing old kings back from your dynasty. After this, you can mut rep like normal- but you'd have to pay the retirement + cooldown bypass fee. Restrictions? These are just ideas, and do not have to be added to the game. -When bringing back an old king, they could be aged up right to 8. 'The experience has aged your heir- he is 8 years old upon taking the throne' (Agryo #70050's way to put it) or something similar might do as well! If you have any more ideas, again, please let me know! If you do not support this, I'd love to hear why- either in PM's or here! |

I do like that idea as well! It does fit in with November quite nicely actually, though I think it would be better as a different suggestion! Thank you for the support! <3 0 players like this post! Like? |

Although I do agree that this WOULD make the game easier, that's not really what I'm looking for in Lioden. If you make it easier and easier, then it gets more and more boring and simple. That's just my opinion on things. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Personally, I see the game being easier in a good way. This suggestion would finally allow you to relax and be able to have more fun while having king projects. You can easily take a break when you need to- without having to worry about needing a clone of your king. I feel it would ease up that tension. 0 players like this post! Like? |

There’s still the extra fee of 15GB too, which isn't always easy for some players to come by and keeps a level of difficulty. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yup! It’s not like it’s free- It does make the game easier in the sense I described it, but it’s not market crashing easy. 0 players like this post! Like? |

i understand your point of view on how this would relieve tension and make things a bit more relaxed, but I've always kind of thought there needed to be one thing on the game you couldn't change, and that's your lion's death. You can bypass all other cooldowns, but in my opinion, once your lion is dead, it should be gone for good. That's just my opinion on the matter, though ^^ 0 players like this post! Like? |

Fair enough. I can understand that point of view as well! <3 But I feel like with this added, the overall experience of lioden would be better in a way for players as well, so it might outweigh that? Also just my opinion! But I completely understand how you might feel about it. Thank you for sharing your opinion! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I was thinking about this earlier today - I wouldn't mind an item for this myself, like the one for bringing dead lions back as frozen. I don't think it would be broken or anything, it would just be the equivalent to keeping a previous king's looks. On the drop down there could be an option for "use looks of a previous king" and then an extra fee (or it could be locked behind an item and work the same way). I don't feel like anything other than a fee would be needed tbh - its not like any old kings are visually going to be very valuable just based on marks, since new things come out - and if they are, then their player would likely have kept them as king to begin with. This wouldn't break things any more than being able to keep a king multiple cycles in a row would. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah, there are rosettes that might be valuable- but a lot of people have rosettes in their kings so I don’t think it would be market crashing. Plus, it’s only appearance. Stats and mutation wouldn’t be kept from your old king. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I mean, those rosette kings can just be kept via "keep heirs looks" anyway. And old kings won't have new ones. I see 0 ways old marks could be more harmful than keeping an heirs looks to begin with. I know I'd like this because I like to change kings out, but I wouldn't mind bringing some of my old boys back now and again. 0 players like this post! Like? Alternate idea: an item that cost like 10 gb in the oasis to use on a deceased king to get 10 chances for him to mate with one female lioness? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I would love this! I have soooo many kings that don't have any descendants left and I would love to have them back. 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support, This would give too big of an advantage to users with kings like Moby Dick. 0 players like this post! Like? |
