The Story of Ayari's Pride

His entire pride. Everything he'd worked for. Gone in the blink of an eye. Inamayari refused defeat in the face of his losses and raised his head high. He would rebuild. He would become stronger than ever. Only the strongest would survive in his pride… or they would die. He would not see another pride fall in the face of adversity. Not when he could see to its survival… even if that meant using the most brutal means necessary.

"Azarasti has forsaken us," he snarled. "And we must stand on our own four paws."

Thus, Inamayari, son of Ayari, left the beliefs of his father and took with him two surviving lionesses.

… and then came Tamrat. Blessed by Azarasti, he was able to overthrow Inamayari, even though he was smaller, weaker, and much younger.

After the passing of Tamrat, a new upstart named Abioye took control of the pride.

Abioye, along with all of his lionesses, were brutally slain by Shuvai, a rosette-marked primal upstart.
