Alpha had just finished a training session with Sirius, who was now curled up shivering, blood staining the floor. She heard the roar just before she was about to take another swipe, so she stopped, snarling about being back, and exited the cave to see a dark red pie. She summoned some of the prides sub males and best female fighters before striding up to the Brimstone female, claws out and a scowl on her face, "What do you want?"

For a moment, Sour forgets what they are doing there. She is filled with rage at the queen's immedient agression, and she puffs herself up as big as she can. It is the first time she has ever seen a lion she feels matches her in strength, and suddenly all she wants is to battle her and drive away the nagging thoughts of not being as strong as she always thought herself to be. Ross steps forward, trying to diffuse the situation. "We are seeking Linx and his mate, and thought they may be here as thier territory is abandoned" he says in a ridiculously high pitch. While the prides are distracted, Julia wonders off following the scent of blood- and finds Sirius. He immediently throws himself down beside the poor creature and drags him out of sight, where he begins to try to clean him up and stop the bleeding. Sky stands beside her mother, also thirsting for a fight. Woe and Sunday watch the submales in terror, knowing they could kill them with one blow- they are chubby and spoilt, and these submales are lean and trained.. Julia mutters his nonsense like he always does when scared, "One and two make a square, grass should not grow so rhino, why do you smile like a train.."

Alpha smiled at the queens' aggression, "I would enjoy a battle, but I suppose I could give you the information you seek regardless, not like it will do you much good. After the battle with Aries, Zellie found she could find her father if she ventured through a portal into a world of gods, her father being Spirit lord of the dead. Personally, following the lead of the stars and believing in other gods entirely I doubted she would find this god if it weren't for her powers, which my guess was, must have been inherited, and knowing my gods would never walk with mortals, maybe there was other gods after all. Either way, Supernova wanted to help, and I came too. I wanted to see if there was a way I could get powers of my own, though I was sadly mistaken. We found Spirit, and when Zellie was discovered to have been poisened by Aries, so we also met the Sky lord, Spirit's father, and he healed her. Unfortanatley, this was not all he did. He poisned Supernova's mind by showing him his dead mate and cubs, and worse telling him there was a way to bring them back. I mean, you go through all the work of murdering someone, an angry mother too, just for them to be brought back? Let the dead stay dead in my opinion, even if their death was 'unfair'. Either way Zllie and Linx joined him on a quest to get his family back, what idiots, and my guess is that they are all now dead. Good ridence." Alpha said. The warriors she had brought out were all lying down now, and it was clear they didn't want a fight, just Alpha. They were all still mourning Supernova, as they belived Alpha when she said he might as well be dead, and most of them had been more loyal to him due to his kindness, though they would still follow Alpha's instructions if the need to fight arose.

Sirius was thankful for Julia's help, it had been a while since he was shown kindness, though he was a bit baffled by what she was saying, "What do you mean my smile looks like a... what's a train?"

Supernova stopped walking when he noticed Triff had paused at the cliff opening.
"What's wrong?" he asked, his sense of fear and dread was growing more then ever and wanted to get home quickley.

Julia grinned, eyes bright. "A train is like a card, but it roars like a kettle" he purred, before leaping up and chasing his tail. "Have you ever eaten an ant?"

Sour sits down, head high and still breathing heavily from her anticipation of a fight. Her head reeled with the infomation- even more interesting then she had initally thought. "I should like to slaughter this Linx, any lion who tries to trick others like that does not deserve to walk the lands." she growled, spitting as she said his name (and remembering all those she had killed in the past that she would very much like to stay dead). "I hope he is lying, some things should be left be. I am sorry for your loss, I know little Tiny thought Supernova a mighty lion; and you seem a good queen, one that I can see going far. Should you ever require anything, come to our woods. You will always be welcome". She turned to adress Julia, but had a sharp shock when he was not by her heel chatting to some daisy or fly about the strange world inside his head. He was kicked by a gazelle when very young, and had never spoken a word of sense since. "Julia?" she called in the gentle voice only ever used for her precious son. Her eyes suddenly widened, and the submales (who had been chatting happily to Alpha's pride) raised thier heads in concern- the little idiot would happily follow an interesting butterfly off a cliff. Her face softened and then returned to it's usual smirk as the boy turned in dizzy circles before bumping into her. "I had the most wonderful disco- I met a twig who bled jam all over the dancefloor" he informed her with a massive smile.
"How lovely. Come, let us leave Alpha, I am sure she has work to do" Sour commanded- she hesitated as she stood before the massive star-littered queen and took a stiff, small bow. "I wish you and your family well. I hope to have that battle very soon". Julia looked back at Sirius with longing in his eyes before following Sour, then running back and booping him on the nose. "You're the best acorn EVER" he exclaims- he then jogs back to his family humming joyfully.

Alpha smiled, and though it was genuine this time, it still looked intimating, "I like that queen, she would make a good opponent in battle, smart and strong. Now for you..." She spun to face Sirius. He was standing now, and had come out of the cave to see Julia off for he was rather sad to see him go. Alpha snarled at his smile, "I told you to stay in the cave."
"Actually-"
Alpha smacked him, "We are done with training for today but you better not be seen with those lions again unless it is on the battlefield." She turned to walk away, and to her surprise, Sirius followed back to the caves.
"Alpha," he began slowly knowing he was in dangerous waters, "Those visitors made me think of something."
Alpha sighed, and flung herself to the ground, but still had her ears pointed toward him, "Yes? And make it snappy I want to get some sleep."
"It's about Supernova," Sirius softly said, Alpha's body tensed but she didn't get up. "On this journey, even if he dies, er um, is dead, as you believe, was it really for nothing?"
"No."
"Oh, well that was... to the point," Sirius said, looking for more.
Alpha sighed, but then said, "We saw his mate and cubs, and it is possible there was a way to bring them back, however, we chose a natural way of life based on the stars, it does not involve bringing back those we should have already accepted were gone. In my eyes, by defying our beliefs and placing the pride second I see it as him giving up his right to lead."
"Do you miss him?" Sirius asked tentatively.
Alpha said something unexpected, "Yes, I do. He is a moron but I did see when he was a good leader. however, I feel no love for him. If he decided to show his face here again I will have no hesitation to end his life, and for I cannot encourage others to follow his way, meaning I cannot allow you to be like him, kind, but unloyal."
"You spoke as if he were still alive."
"Get out of my den."

They arrive home, and Sour sends Sunday to fetch her wives. They will all stay with Alan and Ross; talk of bringing back the dead has unnerved all but Julia, who was in high spirits before they reached the caves. He ran into every corner and cervice calling out randomly before laying down with his dainty head on his paws, seemingly sad he could not find something. Alan was carried inside and Smalls lain beside him, but his breathing is shallow and they all know Ross will soon be king. Greenie is delighted to see everybody back quickly and healthy, and he sits talking about patolling, lionesses and humans long into the night with Woe and Sunday. Ross meets a bloody defeat at Sour's paws after trying to convince her to noy judge Linx so quickly; the many lionesses sit or nap in cosy groups littered across the grass and caves. Sour watches her own with a wary eye, while trying to comfort Julia and make him go to sleep. She is sick of this quiet life. For a penny she would take her children and leave to roam the plains- but duty binds her to the pride and thier dull everyday. She longs for adventure, true battle, freedom. The light fades and soon all but she are fast asleep: as always at this lonely and dark hour, she speaks shortly with her own gods- not stars or ghostly lions, but demonic whispers carried on the breeze when evil is about. She watches a few sparks dance about a patch of earth and notes this as a sign of homecoming. She sleeps with Sky behind her, Julia under her chin, and her ladies purring in the depths of the caves. She feels Supernova must still be alive and will not miss his return. She has business with that Linx, and any of his spawn... she will dream of thier blood until dawn.

Supernova had been silent as Triff led them to the place where stars touched the earth, where one could bring back the dead. The sooner they got there the sooner they could get back to the real world, and he could find out what Alpha was doing, why he felt such dread.

Finally, after many paw steps, after several days, they had reached their destination. There was a stone platform, high on one of the mountains. The lack of life, dead grass no birds disturbed Supernova, the whole mountain top seemed a bit unreal, dense fog all around except for on the platform so he could see it clearly. He walked up to the stone but paused at the edge. Now that he was right next to it, he could see it was scattered with dozens, maybe hundreds of small indents, all shaped like stars. It didn't take him long with his astronomical knowledge to spot several constellations, and he could see a perfect map of the night sky laid out on the platform. He gasped when he realized the slowly, very slowly, the platform was moving, it had been the whole time, to align to the sky above, which was already darkening, though the first stars had yet to appear.

Supernova nodded, then took his first steps onto the platform. As soon as the first star appeared in the dark sky, the corresponding star lit up on the platform, and it wasn't soon before almost all the stars were glowing. Surrounded by the light and what almost felt like the stars themselves Supernova felt stronger and more confident. He looked up to the sky, and he felt like he could reach up and touch them. "Please bring my family back to me," he whispered. He felt a warm sensation spreading from the tip of his ears to the ends of his paws, and he knew he was channeling the stars power. He focused on what he wanted them to do, and in a bright flash all the energy left his body, and standing in front of him was a gorgeous lioness holding two tiny cubs. "Pheonix," Supernova breathed and ran forward to greet them. He was tired, and hardly noticed that the platform had returned to the state it had been before the stars had started appearing, but none of that seemed to matter now that he had his mate and cubs again.
