Sorry if I keep switching accounts, I can never remember LOL. It’s feeling less.. Wolvden like but if I could find more shards in explore that would be great. It’s not terrible as when they DO show up I do get a bunch haha. Currently still struggling with cores but this is still a welcome change, nonetheless. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm definitely a big fan of this change! It makes things a lot more relaxing without getting into the infinite explore problem. Great work, staff! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I am a big fan of removing the stun honestly. I literally got stunned over 5+ times IN A ROW, and lost immediately! It was really frustrating because I barely won any of the attacks. I like the adjustment to 3 shards instead of 5 to explore as well, it seems more balanced. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I’m not online super often and I rarely post these days but I just thought I’d say I also really like today’s changes and celestial explore feel pretty balanced now. Both getting hit for 30-40 damage and constant stun locks were a big problem for me and the sole reason I was losing so often. Now I think I’m winning maybe 70-80% of the time which is more than enough for me. Three shards per step coupled with the reduction in shard drops mean infinite exploring is no longer possible, which is good. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I appreciate the recent changes. Removing the stunlocking on the dragons and changing the cost to three shards has made celestial explore more efficient and less frustrating. While I still sometimes spend entire energy bars without getting one meteorite shard, having the storyline quests back helps immensely. I’ve found that Apedemak is the most reliable for getting a decent amount of shards as a reward. Mehnit rarely gives me more currency than 18 shards and 2 axion cores, though her quests are somewhat easier and align with my king’s karma. 0 players like this post! Like? Odd, on my side account I got 18-20 max MS from Menhit's quests, but on this account I consistently get 40-50 ms, but now that I say it it will probably drop tomorrow 0 players like this post! Like? |

Im pretty happy with the changes and balancing made to the event. Only my second time participating, and it feels way better compared to last July. I know the theme is a little controversial but I really love the dragon designs for this event, my favorite probably being the Prismatic Wyvern. The quests admittedly I havent done much of, but doing Menhit's quests has been a helpful boost. 0 players like this post! Like? |

This is my first July event so I have no pre=conceived notions on what it has or could be. The art is beautiful, but I also partial to space-like designs. The storyline I haven't really paid a lot of attention to, I'm following Menhit's storyline since she's the good(est) one out of the three. I've noticed a lot of people complain it's not believable but...this is a lion RPG, the concept of currency in and of itself is already not that believable so battling dragons and whatnot, sure whatever. I think I got lucky that on the day when the shards only cost 2 I was on a stupid amount of the day, so now I have a surplus that can regulate itself roughly between my normal exploring then event exploring. Some battles take energy, so I just wait until I've completely depleted my bar in normal explore or other activities, before doing ANYTHING for the special event, those are done last before I log off. I don't know If this can be called a "tactic" or not, but if you're struggling with balancing normal activities and special, i'd suggest that. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree with above. It isn’t terrible that they take energy as long as you do things first. Plus if you want to gain energy from the event you can just use it right away and come back. 0 players like this post! Like? |

This is the first time I'm participating in the July event, and I was really surprised to find out I have to pay shards to explore and get event currency. Luckily I had around 300 shards from last year, where I didn't participate in the event but still collected them in normal explore. But I find the concept kinda weird? As I said, I can't compare the NPCs to last year, but just by playing this month, I noticed I find them kind of uninteresting compared to the other events. I barely read the story at all, and didn't do any quests yet. Pretty much all I do is spam explore and try to farm as many cores as I can, in order to afford nice decor. It feels more like a task than an event. But I don't find the fights too hard, I'd say I win around 95% of them. Me not being a fan of fighting is a me problem, not the events fault. :^D But on a positive note, because I don't want to sound too negative, I'd like to add how pretty it is. I love the decor and markings, I adore the dragons, drakes, snakes, the enemies in general. I'm not really a fan of spamming fights, but the beautiful art really makes it better to go through. The artworks for this event are truly amazing and I'm a big fan of the space theme. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 09/07/22 @ 03:04:38 by Fruitgummysnake (#235898) |

Personally, I don't understand why there's so much negativity surrounding this event. Sure, there are definitely some cons, but overall I find it pretty fun tbh. I know like everyone agrees with the fact that the artwork is absolutely STUNNING, lol. The combination of colors, effects, and the random backdrops in Celestial Explore are gorgeous. As for the event itself, we got the storyline back. That's what a lot of people wanted, right? I dont find the dragon battles too hard. I find that I win the majority of them... except for battles against the radioactive snake. 45 damage in one hit??? The "boss" battles are fairly balanced. They're supposed to be difficult. This is a browser based lion sim. I feel as though there's not a need to stress over an event. Will losing a couple of battles against some fictional dragons impact you in the long run? Probably not. I dont see how they would, and thus, I dont see why there is a need to stress. The event is optional. You dont have to participate. Lioden's devs are trying their best. They cannot cater to everyone, that would be impossible. Moral of the story is... just chill. No need to stress. If you're not interested in participating but would like this month's items, there's always trading. Real question though. I'd like to know how many battles people lose against dragons on average? Going off of my experience alone, it's not that many. Aaaanyway, these are all just my opinions, based on how I experienced the event. To me, it seems fair enough. Sure, there are some things that might need tweaking, but you aren't supposed to win every battle. You aren't supposed to be able to buy a thousand applicators from the store. If you were supposed to, what would rarity even be? 4am rambling over. Sleepy time! 0 players like this post! Like? |

moth, currently most people already enjoy the event - after the last 2 event adjustments, it is no longer as frustrating as it was before! Speaking of average battles, that was one of my frustration points before. Currently, I win around 7-8 of 10 battles, loosing mostly to snakes, bosses, or enemies that get lucky. Previously - before the latest 2 adjustments were made - I could barely win 3-4 out of 10 battles, because most enemies had Large and Stun abilities. They would either trample you when you rested, OR stun-lock you with hard hits, leaving you unable to move and doing 60+ damage at once. That was surely a reason for stress! BUT now it is fixed, and the balance in battles is a lot better than it was before! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Man this event is a lot better from my side as well. I’m finding it easier to battle, collect shards and cores. No more stress for me haha 0 players like this post! Like? |

Most vitriol against the event were from before the recent adjustments. Most people seem pretty chill about it now (although I'm sure there are still people who aren't happy, but hey, there always will be). I'm personally very happy with how the mechanics work at this point, and I'm curious to see how the lore will evolve in the future. I don't know about anyone else, but I think they could definitely adjust the prices of things in the event shop. Those prices were based on how difficult it was to explore and get cores before the adjustments, so now they just feel way too cheap compared to other events. We're not even a third of the way through the month and I've already bought 8 base apps, 5 marking apps and 4 backgrounds with plenty of cores to spare which just feels excessive. I *don't* want them to change anything about the battles, MS rates or core earnings, I just think it'd be fair to raise the prices now that the currency isn't impossible to get anymore. 0 players like this post! Quick question, when Apedemak says to trap 20 whispers in explore, which explore is he talking about celestial explore or just normal explore? 0 players like this post! Like? |
