This RP is closed and has been remade here: LINK A feminine, monotone voice echoes through the halls of a suburban family home, "An estimated 250 dogs live at the plant itself, 225 in the city of Chernobyl, and hundreds more roam around, for a total of more than 1,000, according to SPCA International. Wolves and the need for food have driven the dogs from wooded areas surrounding the plant into the Exclusion Zone." Suddenly, a sharper female voice cuts in. "Don't watch something so depressing, sweetie. The puppies are fine." The screen goes black. setting music The city is picturesque from the television screen. Though living amongst the crumbling, overgrown, radioactive buildings is another hell entirely. Dogs whose ancestors were abandoned by their masters in order to escape the explosion generations ago still remain here to this day, too far into the Exclusion Zone to be saved by any humans residing outside of Chernobyl. Many have been born with birth defects, sometimes visible but more often affecting their minds, organs and lifespans. Two major packs have risen out of the dust, Abolition and Insurgent. The packs have always been at odds but due to the encroachment of wolves and low resources, space is low and tempers are at an all time high. Can they come together to overcome the odds or will their own greed tear them down?
Current season: Early Winter. [Frigid temperatures. Long nights, short and dark days.] Current major events: Time Skip!! 9/5 Two Abolition dogs have been killed by Insurgent pack members. This has caused unrest in both packs. A massive snow storm has swept over Chernobyl, bringing an early winter and a shortage of supplies.

Demesu | Location: Insurgent Borders | Mentions: Being (Indirectly) His breathing was short and stunted, coming out ragged as the spotted dog recounted his recent near-death experience. With eyes wide and brows turned up in worry, Demesu found himself skirting along the ground, snow hitting his body from near all directions. I just need to get away, anywhere will work. A whimper came from the young dog's throat as blindly ran into an old store, stepping over broken glass and rushing behind the counter. It was going to kill me, no doubt about it. I was way too lucky! Demesu laid down, his body shaking profusely from fear and only partially from the clumps of snow clinging to his body. Sana | Location: Outside Insurgent Territory| Mentions: None Sana had no idea where she was going, she'd lost her son's trail in the snow, and now she was about to be stuck in the storm with no sight as to where she was walking. The snow smacked her directly in the face, blinding her completely as she continued to move forward. Sana walked immediately into a wall, shaking herself off for a moment before walking along the perimeter of the building. Soon enough she'd made it to the open door, stumbling inside and running to hide around the corner. Luxnas | Forest | Bates, Being, Stixx Luxnas was humming as he padded through the snow in the woods, occasionally stopping to scratch at the scars that crisscrossed his head and chest. He heard snarls in the distance and decided to go see who was having fun. He had been a loner for the past week, having abandoned Abolition after running across that loner and the pup who tailed her. He picked up the pace, his powerful legs eating up the distance between him and his quarry. He stopped short as he approached what appeared to be two dogs picking on another. "Hey furball. Start running or we'll eat you here and now." Ooor, maybe something else is going on. It's been a while since I've eaten. I wonder how dog tastes. He stalked towards the group, coming up between Being and Bates, where they had left a gap for Stixx to run. "Mind if I join in the fun?" His grin caused the scars on his face to stretch horribly, making him almost appear to be undead. Shadow | Den (Insurgent Camp) | Quilllion Shadow was softly humming a lullaby in Quillion's ear, their tail wrapped around him and their paws stretched out next to his head, guaranteeing that whenever he woke, they would be the first thing he saw. 0 players like this post!
