@Falkenstern25, You see Awan appear over the horizon- a large grin on his face. He skips over and sits next to you with wide eyes. He describes his journey as you listen. ✦Awan watches as the trees around him shift from evergreens and oaks to more tropical and taller trees. Vines batted his face and ferns brushed up against his pelt. He was in the rainforest! He eagerly began exploring and investigating eveyr crevice and bump, hoping to find something good! He raised his head and noticed a distinct smell. He ran over to the bark of a large tree and saw a yellowish sap leaking out. Without any thought, Awan reached down and tasted it. It tasted like.... honey! He greedily gathered it- leaving none left. Awan found x4 Honey. ✦Awan now watched as birds of various colors flew past in one colorful blur. The sounds of the forest were alive and Awan couldn't feel more at home- He just wishes you were here with him. He spend today not exploring- no no. He lazes out in the sun for most of the day. That was until he smelt the most amazing smell. He leaped out of his makeshift nest and ran headfirst into a briar patch. Laying there was a mountain of kibble that Awan gladly took. Awan found x1 Rare Kibble & x4 Uncommon Kibble. ✦Awan spotted a small pathway and decided to follow it. He trotted along, only stopping for a few drinks along the way. The path widened up as it reached a large overhang in rock. A few abandoned nests were laying in the center of the overhang. Awan hummed to himself before snatching one of them. Awan found x1 Nest. A hiss rang out from up above. Leaping down near Awan was a furious feline. Awan stumbled backward. What should Awan do? A. Awan bares his teeth back and runs at the feline. He would be trying to scare the feline in submission. (50% to claim) B. Awan stares down the feline and sends it a nod. He puts the nest back and lowers his eyes. He knows he is in the wrong. (50% to claim) C. Awan convinces the feline that he was not stealing the nest. He would be trying to persuade the feline for anything else of value. (50% to get an uncommon+ item) D. @Kitsune, Velvet appears seemingly out of nowhere right beside you. She looks exhausted and doesnt look like she has had a wink of sleep in days but overall happy. She yawns as she sits and begins to tell her tale. ✦Velvet first entered the rainforest with trepidation. She would glance around spotting all the dark corners and a cold shiver would run down her spine. Maybe she wasnt cut out for this place... that was until she started noticing all the finer details. Like how certain ferns would grow in a spiral, how vines clung to the branches far above and hung like tapestries, and how light dappled her pelt from the leaves above. It fascinated her. While examining a patch of unidentified flowers, a gleaming object, or objects caught her eye. Shards of crystals were tossed throughout a clearing and Velvet happily gathered them. They were so pretty! Velvet found x4 Gem Shards. ✦As the first night approached, Velvet was uneasy. With night came the noises. The noises of all the rainforest creatures seemed to only come alive while she was sleeping, and it badly hindered her ability to sleep. So instead, she decided to search for bedding. Maybe finding a nice bed would entice her to sleep... at least that was her thought process. Laid across the bark of a nearby tree was the puffiest and most comfortable moss Velvet had ever seen. She eagerly gathered it- excited to try sleeping again. Velvet found x5 Moss. ✦Velvet could not fall asleep still. The noises of all the other companions were making her sick. Their howls, growls, and calls rang in the air for miles on end. She simply couldn't deal with it. With a huff, she decided to track down those pesky companions. Scenting the air, Velvet headed south to the place where the vegetation was much thicker. So thick she could hardly see where she was going. As she sprinted through the rainforest, the sounds became softer and farther away. They were disappearing. She arrived at a clearing, which certainly looked lived in. Maybe she would have to return soon to have a chance to see them? She did, however, find their stash of kibble, which was just laying around. Without hesitation, Velvet snatched it. Velvet found x4 Uncommon Kibble. ✦Velvet sluggishly retraced her steps home. She needed a nap after all those sleepless nights. At least now she would have you for company! 0 players like this post! @Kitsune, Velvet grumbles a bit before simply nodding at you. You wonder if something's wrong... She crosses a small stream and follows a gravel path. Soon the hills increase in height and the trees change into the most magnificent rainbow color imaginable. Before she knows it, Velvet enters the Rolling Rainbow Hills. Your companion has rolled to explore to the Rolling Rainbow Hills. She will be gone for 4 days [5 days - 1 from biome]. Check back soon! Velvet may return with some items!! 0 players like this post! @Falkenstern. Awan makes eye contact with the furious feline in an attempt to mediate the situation. He drops the nest and shifts his eyes down in embarrassment. The feline lets out a hiss at Awan's pitiful actions. It jumps at Awan- causing Awan to fall backwards. Terrified for his life, Awan ran as fast as he could back home. @Euphoria, You see Jasper running over a hill with a wild expression. He lets out a huff as he reaches you. Laying on his back, he describes his adventures. ✦Jasper is in awe at the scene in front of him as he crosses the stream. Mushrooms bigger than anything he has ever seen before, litter the landscape, casting huge shadows down upon him. The ground is a mix of strange grass and purple stringy stuff that's soft to the touch. He takes the opportunity to gather some of this strange substance. It could be used as a nest! Jasper found x4 Moss. ✦As he continues to explore this strange biome, a smell entered his nostrils. This aroma immediately made Jasper's mouth salivate at the prospect of food. He followed the scent with wide eyes. Sitting in the middle of a mushroom was a pile of kibble. Jasper greedily darted for it and took it without remorse. He would have fun eating all this later! Japer found x2 Rare Kibble. ✦Jasper walked and walked and walked. The biome seemed endless. The mushrooms never stopped and they were honestly starting to freak Jasper out. The strange gills under the mushrooms, the purple stringy stuff, the weird mist that would sprout out of the brown mushrooms- Nope! He decided he hated it here. As he began to head home, Jasper saw something strange... there were random scraps made out of various materials in the nest clearing. Confused, Jasper gathered them while brainstorming what they could be used for... Jasper found x5 Scraps. ✦Jasper lets out a yawn before heading back home. @Kitsune, Mr. Mint Bownie jumps up as you mention going out to explore. He nervously nods and slowly heads through a grove of trees. Before he knows it, vines hung from the canopy and the trees seemed to go up endlessly. He enters the Radiant Rainforest. Your companion has rolled to explore to the Radiant Rainforest. @Euphoria, Paradox runs up to you, clearly out of breath. She grins as she lays down on her back. She explains her exploring while waving her paws in the air in emphasis. ✦Paradox tumbles through the thick vegetation but suddenly stops. Before her was a hilly biome with strange knotted trees. Grasses blew in the wind and they looked like waves. A breeze ruffled her fur, filling her with abundant energy. She grinned before racing atop the first hill she saw. Once at the top, Paradox noticed a small indent in the ground. Confused, she started to dig and discovered something! There were many gem shards laying, buried in the ground. Who had buried these precious gems! Paradox found x4 Gem Shards. ✦Paradox leaves the hill and truly started to explore the place. To be honest, there wasn't much here. It was mostly vast hills with a sprinkling of trees at the top. Nevertheless, She continued onward- hoping to come across something. After about 4 hours, she finally spotted something! A bundle of feathers was just laying out in the open under a tree. In the branches of the tree was what looked like a very angry bird who was obviously tweeting about something important. Paradox shrugged off the angry bird and gathered the feathers. These would make such a lovely nest! Paradox found x3 Feathers. ✦As Paradox was about to head to sleep, an aroma drifted past her nose. She immediately bolted upright and tried to decipher where the smell was coming from. To her left was not one, not two, but three things of kibble! She greedily snatched the food up. She tried to go back to sleep but it was hard when that smell was surrounding her... @DisneyLuv, Lionel arrives over a hill with a snarky grin on his face. He runs up to you and rapidly begins to explain his adventure to the rainforest. ✦Lionel squeezed between some trees and gasped at the sight in front of him. Trees taller than anything he's seen before were towering over him. Long spindly vines hung from their branches that batted at his face. Ferns littered the floor in some sort of green mesh. Light from the canopy scattered onto the ground and onto his pelt. Though a weird white object caught his eye. Embedded in the earth was what looked like a bone. Confused, Lionel picked it up and decided to keep it. I wonder what it could be used for? Lionel found x1 Wishbone. ✦Lionel continued on his journey as the sun was setting. The rainforest was alive with beautiful colors and noises from creatures. These noises seemed to resonate from all around.. Some even sounded like companions! Lionel rushed to answer their calls but was met with something else... A rock tripped him under his feet. He tumbled down a large hill into some brambles. With a huff, he sat up and analyzed his surroundings. It was a clearing... which was weird to see in the jungle. The grass wouldn't even grow. It was a perfect circle... of dead. He sighed before grabbing some of the things in the dusty dirt. This could come in handy... Lionel found x6 Scraps. ✦As he was ready to bed down, his nose scented something... something amazing! He darted out of his makeshift nest of ferns and tracked down the scent. In a neat pile behind a tree was a pile of kibble! Who had left this here?? Lionel shook his head and snatched up the kibble.
