This is an official clan thread for the Recreating Extinct RLCs Clan! Recreating old, extinct Raffle Lionesses Welcome to the thread where I'll be keeping track of my project to make a true, 100% exact replica of an old raffle lioness that is now extinct! Feel free to reply to this thread, I'll keep the most important info in the main post.
What I personally define as an extinct raffle lioness I've chosen to specifically try to tackle RLs that there are no breedable clones left of. As long as there is still a breedable clone around somewhere I chose to not consider that lioness as a target, even if the account with the clone is inactive. To me, bringing someone back that it is physically impossible to get a clone of feels the most impactful. If i know someone can log on and "ruin" all my work someday, it's less motivating to work towards. Click me to be taken to the breeding guide! Have you had any thoughts of trying to bring her back? :0 - - - Also, just produced a cub with 4/8 of the breed-only traits I need for my own breeding project! I decided to crown her just so I could get more breedings out of her in the long run and pass on the markings. Mainly because she was G3 which would make her cubs G4 and I want to recreate the RL with the shortest heritage possible! Not exceeding G3 to be specific. ^^ Will have to heritage replace her soon! If anyone has a cheap male groupie that they'd like to sell (stats don't matter), please let me know!  0 players like this post! Like? |

I’ve definitely thought about it, wouldn’t be super hard since she’s only got two breed only features. Maybe I’ll try to remake her completely and then make a modified, more breed only version of her  0 players like this post! Like? |

Oh boy. It took me like, a week to make this, but it's here. A really detailed guide on how to recreate a raffle lioness, from scratch. Hey everyone! I've spent some time trying to figure out what RL i want to target next. Since the girl I just did was completely monochrome and dark, I wanted to do something very different- I've been getting more interested in cream/golden lionesses, and was trying to find a pretty golden girl to bring back. Here's what I've narrowed it down to! https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794113483030 This sulphur girl is the one I like most, I think. Super pretty, with a lot of markings making her interesting, but not busy. The slight blue in the sectoral eyes pop so well. As an added bonus, her rare base is the only one within the category. https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794133750768 This maziwa girl also caught my eye- more simple in markings, but very neutral and pretty. Although i was avoiding special bases, since hers is an NCL exclusive one, it might make for an interesting new twist on the breeding project with maziwa NCLs. https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794116080850 This anjeer stands out a lot. She's quite busy looking, but i think she makes it work! Royal mane is gonna be annoying though, plus medium shade genetics. Oh, they are all amazing choices Quills! Personally, I'd be stuck between the Sulphur and the Anjeer. As annoying as it would be to try and breed, that Anjeer base is quite pretty. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm thinking of recreating the June 3rd, 2016 rl. She's super stunning and the rl hasn't cloned. The rl is also dead and belongs to an account that no longer exists. Should I? I quite like the anjeer one! The sulphur is really nice as well! If you decide to go for the anjeer I’ll try and keep any anjeer cubs that are born, since my queen throws them every so often ^^ Also I’d say go for it hibiscus! Quills (#159159) I'd love for the more natural Raffle Lionesses to come back. So, I'd say either the Sulphur or Maziwa one! I'd love to learn how to breed Special Bases to recreate more Raffle Lionesses (since most of the more valuable ones have one) so I think I'm leaning more towards the Maziwa one. @Hibiscus (#356434) I'd say go for it! She doesn't seem very difficult to try out, would be a perfect starter lion I'd say! If you want to make it more difficult, you could always try to create a modified version with more breed-only traits. Good luck and most important, enjoy the process!  0 players like this post!
