Welcome to Athena's Adoption Center!
 We (the broodmothers) take in and adopt out unwanted babies! RULES: 1. DO NOT adopt if the plan is to chase/kill/sell or otherwise. *When adopting, please use NAMES in the RP response, and then put the links at the end. Using links in place of names makes it hard to read, but it helps me keep them in order if you include a link at the end. **BROODMOTHERS ARE NOT ADOPTABLE. I missed you too, and don't tell her this-" she glanced around to make sure no one was listening, before continuing in a whisper, "-because you know how her attitude gets sometimes, but Peach Butterfly missed you too." The old feline gave a raspy chuckle and continued grooming the adolescents' fur. "Now, about these new little ones! I'm so proud of you, you've grown so much and now you're taking care of them too! It's not exactly the same, I know, but still." She moved as if to stand up, but made a pained face before sitting back down. She said apologetically, "dear, do you think you could get them yourself? I know I don't normally do this, but I'm afraid I'm... not too well." Her expression changed from one of happiness to solemn resignation, "thank you again sweetheart, I'll miss you. Kuchanua had returned once again, with a small sweet looking cub pouncing around his paws, nearly tripping him multiple times. "Its very nice to see you again, Athena." The king purred with a friendly smile. " I have come to drop off a cub, Kataigída." The young cub gasped as she gazed up to the older lioness, admiring her jewelry. "She is the daughter of my queen, and i dont really feel safe leaving her at the tree." Kuchanua sighed. "Oh! And i have also brought a gift." He reached a paw into a small pouch sewed into his bedlah, and pulling out a very large cluster of crawling silver beetles. She would tilt her head sideways at the comment before nodding her head to go talk to the cubs. She giggled to herself about Peach Butterfly and walked back to Athena, giving her a small lick on the cheek. "I love you too Athena, are you alright? Jet and Webs told me to bring some toy bundles for you as a token of appreci.. Bleh! I don't know how to pronounce that word stil! Ugh.. But I love you too Athena and I'll do everything to make sure these cubs are raised right." She would pull 3 toy bundles forward placing them infront of Athena, a grin on her face. "If you need something let me know, I'll be happy to come by any day to help! I love taking care of the cubs, I wish to open an adoption center like you.. You see, our king barely has space for all the cubs and would love a break from them. I've convinced him to let me open one when I'm older! I want to be like you someday helping all the cubs!" She said excited, wrapping her tail around Athena's weaker tail. She sighed before sneaking a small golden beetle into Athena's paw and trotting out with the cub and adolescent, carrying the younger one to make the trip back quicker. 0 players like this post! @Apple Snake (#244579) Giving the piebald King a nod, she then looked down to the little she-cub who was now trying to bat at Athena's golden adornments. "Thank you for your kindness, it means much to me and to the little ones here." She picked up Kataigída by the scruff, much to the cub's delight, as she could now reach the shiny bits much easier. Slowly heading to the back of the cave, Athena handed off the cub to a grey lioness who took her the rest of the way. 0 players like this post! NOTICE The new roleplay for Athena's Adoption Center is now open! The new thread IS NOT for adoptions, it's only for talking to the broodmothers (and others) and doing other roleplay stuff. Get to know Athena personally, meet the other broodmothers, if you'd like then you can even meet the cubs of the Adoption Center. A lean strong lioness guided in leopard fur slowly steped to the broodmother with a smile "Hello im here to possibly adopt a young one from you" She scanned over the crowd of young lions before her and her focus stopped on a strong looking adolescent male "This one is called ardin is it not?" Broodmother Volus is out for an afternoon stroll with Hush [her King's daughter] not too far behind. The pair wander into some unfamiliar territory. Hush picks up her pace a little to match Volus. They don't have to walk too far before they hear the sound of cubs playing....a lot of them. "Can I go play too?" asks Hush. Looking over the area before letting her go, Volus sees a number of other broodmothers scattered among the cub. Volus gives her a little push, "Go on, but we aren't staying long." As Hush is playing with some of the other cubs, a number of other lionesses and some lions make their way to this land. Most come empty handed, but leave with a cub or two. Watching all this brings a smile to her face. Lost in thought, Hush comes running back with a slightly older cub in tow. "Hey Volus! Can Damara come home with us? Please?! I think everyone else would love her and I would finally have someone close to my age to play with! Please?!?!" Giving the new cub a gentle smile, she nods, "It's okay with me....let's go find whoever is in charge to ask them if that's okay." "I can take you to our head broodmother, Athena, she's in charge" says Damara. Volus and Hush follow the new cub to Athena. Volus bows her head slightly, "Athena, may we take this cub home with us? She would fit right in with our pride." I am interested in adopting Damara 0 players like this post! Like? |

Shaking her head apologetically, Athena answers, "no, I am deeply sorry but another came by asking for her before you got here." Dipping her head, she continued, "I didn't send her along immediately, as I usually do, so she was still here with the others when you came by." The old lioness turned to a younger one who was minding cubs near them and called out, "Peach, could you take Damara to her new home like we discussed?" Facing the other broodmother and the piebald cub that accompanied her, she spoke again, "I am truly sorry, but you're welcome to choose from anyone else here! A large male with pupilless eyes walked in and briefly paused to look at the cubs frolicking around. He walked over to the lioness in charge. "My name is Singe. My king has asked me to get rid of this cub.. I don't have the heart to leave him to certain death though, is it possible you could take him? His name is Ripple. Athena nodded, "yes, we'll be sure to take good care of him." She kneeled down and gave the cub a reassuring lick and purr. Standing back up and facing Singe, she finished, "no need for any feathers. Zendao shook his massive head, deciding to enter the adoption center after a few moments of contemplation. Ducking through the entrance, he surveyed the cave with sharp eyes. Taking in the surroundings and catching a glimpse of Athena, he called out to her. “Hello, I am interested in taking a cub home to my pride.
