Welcome to Athena's Adoption Center!
 We (the broodmothers) take in and adopt out unwanted babies! RULES: 1. DO NOT adopt if the plan is to chase/kill/sell or otherwise. *When adopting, please use NAMES in the RP response, and then put the links at the end. Using links in place of names makes it hard to read, but it helps me keep them in order if you include a link at the end. **BROODMOTHERS ARE NOT ADOPTABLE. Athena nods her head at the two hybrids, and answers in a pleased tone, "She'll be so excited to hear that! She was only just weaned and is already being snatched up!" She lets out a weak, raspy laugh before turning to the little cub and calling her over. The old silver lioness gives the tiny cub one last purr before sending her along. 0 players like this post! Sun'Struck gasped as he saw all the cub, "ooh my, you must have your paws full, I would be willing to take one!" as he looked through the crowd he saw a link dyed cub, "that one is a fine male may I have him?". Azure trotted in as a pretty Adol by the name of Seed followed her in, Azure found Athena quickly and smiled "Ello Athena, I've brought one our pride's Adol's, Seed here so she can find a new home, our king doesn't really..let's say like her, could she stay till a new pride take's her in?" Azure seemed awfully tired, Seed didn't hold a grudge on her pride but she would miss Azure a lot, as Azure was like a mother that Seed never had. It was a stormy day, The Broodmother came rushing in with the wet cub grabbed by the nack, both where wet and there paws where dirty as they arrived. The look on the Broodmothers face kind of told there story, there was anger, rage but most of all sadness. Carefully she put the cub down, her face was covered in bleeding scar’s like she just had a fight. The shy and unsure cub took a look at the Broodmother that began gently smiling at her. „You are safe now…“ she smiled. „Stay here with me Asted!“ the cub cryed out. „Im sorry my love but i do not belong here… i need to go back to the pride“ the mothers ears went down in pain, but she knew this was the best. Bending down to the little cub, Athena spoke again, "don't worry little one, we'll take good care of you. You'll find a nice new home soon." Goldenrod was taking a walk near the Adoption Center. Her wrinkled face lifted as she sniffed the air. She was unsure if he should approach. She wanted to take care of a cub so badly… but her womb was unable to birth a cub anymore. She had wanted grandchildren, but Akumu had sold all her children… She didn’t know where they were. Gathering up her courage, she approached a fellow broodmother, who looked a few years older than herself, but not too much older. She smiled, tilting her head. “I was thinking of adopting a few girls from here?” She said, casting a few glances around. “They look beautiful.” She marveled at all the cubs. “I wish I could work here with you… but alas, my King needs me at home to tame his other side.” Goldenrod shook her head. “I am getting off topic. Basilia would look around hoping to find a specific lioness before gasping and running towards Athena, her smile bright as she sat down next to her. "Hello Athena! It's me Basilia, look at how big I've gotten!" Her paws being slightly muddied. "I was hoping to get some more siblings for my new pride! Webs and Jet got larger and are considered adult lionesses now, so they want me to get a cub to mentor like they did me." She would look around quickly before trotting up to a few cubs asking for their names and running back. "So many new cubs! I hope they love it here as much as I did, a few cubs I spoke to got me interested. May I take Carissa and Spark home?" She purred softly before rubbing her head against Athena. Thank you for your kindness, few people take more than one of the young things at once," she ended with a quiet breathy chuckle. Slowly standing and then shaking the weariness from her old bones, she started towards the adolescent. She was still nervous, she'd only been with them for a little while. After listening to Athena, she twisted her head around to look at Goldenrod, who was still waiting somewhat near the entrance. She stared for a moment before following behind Athena as she padded to the younger cub. Calliope played with the others, she had been born into this pride and so had she had no reservations or anxiety. Her little kitten ears perked up as she spoke with the old broodmother, and then turned and bounded up to the old yellow lioness. Seed sped up her gait to catch up with Calliope. The youngest reached her first, but stopped short. Looking up at Goldenrod, her eyes held a small sparkle of nervousness for the first time. It lasted only a moment, and soon Calliope was purring and snuggling against the older lionesses legs. Seed wasn't nearly as affectionate, but still showed respect. She bowed her head, grateful for the chance, and gave the lioness a small purr before the three walked out of the cave together. 0 players like this post! Like? |
