Welcome to Athena's Adoption Center!
 We (the broodmothers) take in and adopt out unwanted babies! RULES: 1. DO NOT adopt if the plan is to chase/kill/sell or otherwise. *When adopting, please use NAMES in the RP response, and then put the links at the end. Using links in place of names makes it hard to read, but it helps me keep them in order if you include a link at the end. **BROODMOTHERS ARE NOT ADOPTABLE. Looking between the pair of mates, the old broodmother smiles and says “I’m so happy that you’ve taken a liking to him. It’s difficult to get males adopted, and I’d rather see him in someone’s pride than wandering the wilds alone. I will fetch him right now.” 0 players like this post! Like? |

Trance stepped forward slowly, with his stubby primal tail flicking anxiously behind him. It was the only hint at his feelings, as his face was stoic. Two cubs trailed behind him, stumbling over their own paws. One resembled him almost perfectly and the other was brown with hints of orange. "I have two cubs I must let go of. Their mothers loved them dearly but they are unfortunately gone now and I don't have the lionesses to spare to take care of them." Azure slowly padded in with a look of sorrow on her face, she held a young cub by the scruff as she looked around. The black maned Lioness set the small cub between her paws and glanced over at Athena, her voice cracked as she spoke "Ah! Hello, I assume you run this place..? Mallow isn't quite old enough to leave yet, but can you take her in when she's ready..?" Azure seemed to not be the mother of Mallow, yet the Broodmother. (If someone adopts Mallow can you Pm the user so I can always make sure they take care of her? If not, that's quite alright!<3) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Looking at the fluffy young lioness and the cub at her paws, Athena gives them both a small smile. “Don’t worry, we’ll take good care of her.” Crouching down, Athena gives the little cub a sniff, and Mallow paws at her face playfully. The old silver lioness purrs at the tiny cub, then stands and walks back to the group of other broodmothers. As she walks, she speaks again, “you’re welcome to stay and rest for now, and you’re welcome back anytime.” (ooc: ofc! i like to check myself because killing/chasing/abandoning cubs adopted from me is against my rules. if you check on her and find they’ve done that then lmk and i will blacklist them) 0 players like this post! An older lioness approached the den slowly, her brown pelt spotted white glimmered in the midnight moon. She dipped her head and sat down."I've been searching every cave all day and my king and close friend told me that this was the place to visit. You see, my cubs are aging quickly and I am unable to have cubs for a while longer. Might I take that one over there home with me? I do have some supplies I would also like to leave since my idiot of a king forgot to," The lioness chuckled, flicking her tail. Athena lifted her head from where she was sleeping as the spotted lioness sat near her. She yawned and then answered her, "oh, I'm so glad you've decided to take one of our little ones. I will-" *yawn* "-go and prepare them for their departure now." She sat up and stretched slowly, shaking the tiredness from her fur. "And those supplies you mentioned. I'd hate to take them from you if your pride needs them, but I will accept them if you're certain you'd like to leave them with us. Thank you, again." She slowly stalked away towards the group of cubs playing in the back of the cave, where she pulled one away from the group and sent them bounding towards the other lioness. (ooc: Thank you so so much! It means a lot to me that some people actually enjoy these things ^^ if you'd like to pm me the link to the specific cub you'd like to reserve, i'll be happy to make sure she gets to you!) 0 players like this post! A rather young and bright yellow colored king comes walking into the cave, as he looks around he smiles sheepishly at Athena one he sees her. He would trot up to her and nod his head in greeting as his deep voice sounded. "Hello, you must be Athena. I am Sunni. I'm here looking for a cub to take home, as my pride is very new. Athena smiles back warmly at the shy male. "This little one is named Ocean. I know that she would be absolutely delighted to hear that she's found a new home." She turns away and heads toward the young cub. Reaching her, she tells the little one about the news, and the she-cub practically jumps with joy. Lu'rubrakos, a tall and handsome lion, came lightly stepping into the den. He said nothing for a few moments, just trying to gauge what he was looking at. Cubs, and a lot of them. How would he ever chose? He saw Athena nearby and cleared his throat gently before stepping towards her, careful to not disturb the cubs that were asleep or just relaxing. He bowed his head slightly before speaking. "Hello, miss. I am Lu'rubrakos. You may call me Lu'ru. I'm here to find a new cub I could take home." He spoke with great pride, smiling at the cubs around. "They are all so adorable! I have no clue who I'd be able to chose." He chuckled before eyeing a tiny female, Aurum to be exact. Athena slowly aimed a distant gaze in the direction of the king. After shaking her head to clear away her confusion, she spoke to him, “Hello… Lu’ru, yes, this is Aurum. I’m sure she’d be happy to find a new home. I will- Oh! My manners, my name is Athena. Welcome, and feel free to rest while you visit. A young and quiet king comes walking into the cave, in search of a new cub to take back to his pride with him. He sees Athena and walks over to introduce himself with a warm smile, "Hello, My name is Rain Jester, I also just go by Jest. I'm here in search of a cub?" He looks around and his eyes land on a small lioness, Adonia, it seemed. "Actually, May I take that pretty one over there? She seems to be perfect." From where she sits, the elderly lioness gave him a kind look and a small nod. She stands and makes her way across the cave towards the young lioness, a slight limp in her walk. She reaches Adonia and sends her to the king, following behind the nervous adolescent. She tells Jest, “I trust that you’ll take good care of her. A young King hesitantly enters the cave, followed by a clearly excited lioness. The young lioness nudges the male, seemingly to encourage him to speak first, to which the male gives a nervous chuckle. "Hello... I-I hope we're not intruding." the male gives a small smile, his eyes giving way to his nervous excitement. "My Lead Lioness and I would like to adopt a cub... Zari has been here a few times, and she's taken a liking to a specific one-" he starts to explain only to be interrupted by the lioness. "Sophia! The cub's name is Sophia. I've recently had my first cub! And we would like her to have a sibling closer to her age. Dian and I are first time parents but we will do our best, the rest of our pride is thrilled with the idea of adding another cub to the pride and would happily help." the lioness starts to nervously ramble, indicating her own nervous excitement. At this, Dian calmly takes over, "We'd happily donate a few spare carcasses, we're a growing pride but we're not that big yet..." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Athena smiles at the young couple, chuckles, and then speaks, “I’m sure she’ll be so happy to hear the news, I shall go and tell her now.” The aged she-lion leaves for a moment before returning with a little spotted cub. The tiny cub bounds up to the pair and weaves between their paws playfully, purring at them both. Athena speaks to them again, “you two take good care of her now, and you’re welcome back anytime. You can leave the carcasses here, if you’d like, but-“ Athena cuts off, turning her face away from the pair of lions and their new cub as she lets out a series of dry coughs. Swallowing, she continues, “my apologies, I’m not currently in the best condition. As I was saying, you can leave the carcasses with us, but if your pride needs them more then I wouldn’t want to take them from you.
