This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. As they approack the first of the broodmother den Lashpaw sees Coy Fish outside of it, talking to the new cub that was jsut brought it to the pride. Shes a pretty thing, small and silver, but oe day shell be a great hunter, or maybe a broodmother herself. "Ah, Coy Fish, my King. Its good to see you! And with the new cub! thinking about finally taking an apprentice of your own?" he asks as they near the king. "Im taking the newcomers on a tour, with Harbinger as my second guide. Talus is going to give check to everyone and make sure they are healthy." He gives the King a vicious smile, nodding to Harbinger as he speaks. 0 players like this post! Like? |

“He was! I thought it was a little mean that he dropped me, but dad was very protective.”She nods a little, before pressing against Coy with a soft kitten purr. “I can do that for you, Coy Fish!”She giggles a little again. She seems to grow a little tired, her purrs becoming softer. “I’m sleepy. Coy Fish He looks back as Lashpaw calls out a greeting, "My favorite guard." Coy laughs in response, a sound like an avalanche of sharpened stone. He turns to Talus and Knaw, "I hope he's been treating you both well, Harbinger can be a bit difficult for guests to deal with- can never get a word out in one try." The smile he offers would almost appear sincere, as if he truly thought the joke harmless, if it wasn't for how his eyes glinted and looked to Harbinger for a reaction. The scout grit his teeth, the shaking starting up again as they stopped moving, and tried to remind himself that it wasn't worth a fight. That he would not win regardless. "An apprentice all my own?" He looks down at the cub thoughtfully, "I would need them to be as strong as me, and willing to make the hard choices. I hope to find one eventually." He shrugs his shoulders and scoops the cub up, placing her upon his back with an awkward contortion of his neck. The bones audibly crack and pop. "We were just about to talk with the broodmothers as well, what a coincidence." He smiles knowingly at Lashpaw, tail waving behind him in excitement, "Lash, have you perchance seen Kimba anywhere? I need to have a talk with him regarding treatment of the cubs. My own brother." He laughed again. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Talus keeps himself low, not meeting Coy's eyes. Something is deeply wrong with this lion, he knows it "He has been very helpful, really..." Lashpaw barks out a laugh at Harbingers unease, he knows how much it pain the scout to poke at his stutter. "I havent seen Kimba in a while, last i saw he was sunning himself on the rocks." He pulls Harbinger closer with his paw, digging his claws into the other lions shoulder in a way that cant be scene. "Harbinger isnt so bad when you get used to the stutter. And who knows, maybe the cub will grow up to be just like you." He pulls his paw away from the other male, raking his claws down his shoulder in the process. he motions for the other to lions in the little party to follow. "Youll like the motherdens, there always so soft." He says wistfully, "IM sure the mothers would appriciate you checking up on the cubs Talus." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Coy Fish "Remind me to find him after the tour, can't forget that." Coy mutters, most likely to Lashpaw or maybe just to himself. It is hard to tell. As the group resumes walking and nearly reaches the opening of the cave, a clawless lioness snarls, rushing forward to block their entry, but quickly moves to the side when she sees Lashpaw and Coy Fish. "Didn't recognize the scent." She growls, pacing back and forth and watching the two newcomers with unveiled suspicion. Coy only smiles at her, rubbing his head against her shoulder. "Your ferocity and protective nature is why you are one of the denmothers, Tip Toe." Coy responds to her. There are at least five other denmothers within the cave, all of them lounging happily in beds of animal fur and feathers. Some even have fresh moss and vines mixed into the nests. An elderly lioness, pelt black as the night sky and interupted by white piebald markings, seems to be struggling to even lift her head. Her age is clear upon her face, the way the skin hangs from the bones is a telltale sign. "My king..." Her voice is raspy. Coy trots to her side and nuzzles her affectionately. "Shh, Wu," He murmurs, "We have a healer now, he will help with the pain." He seems to truly care about the lioness. When he turns to look at Talus and Knaw he shrugs, "She's the only true mother figure I've ever had." Wu Zietan tries to laugh, but ends up coughing instead. Harbinger He winces, gnashing his teeth together, as Lashpaw digs his close into his shoulder. He knows just by the feel of where they are, no one else will see the marks. Lash has had plenty of practice with hiding such things. He keeps him mouth shut though, even as the teasing and belittling continues, and only follows mutely with the rest of the group. He doesn't even flinch when Tip Toe comes roaring to the cave opening. 0 players like this post! Like? |

“An a-apprentace?” She mutters, trying out the word. Silver does, however, squeak when she’s scooped up, before purring louder when she’s deposited on Coy’s back. She curls into a tiny bundle of silver fur on the large primal lion, her purrs the only noise she makes once she’s settled. She does occasionally rub her head against Coy’s mane, seemly snuggling. “Very nice.”She mumbles softly, clearly pleased with how Coy is treating her. Poor cub doesn’t know that the large lion slaughters and eats cubs for fun. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Talus flinches at Tip Toe's roar, but he understands being protective. He settles quickly, looking around the cave. He approaches Wu, keeping his voice low and gentle "I am Talus, miss. I can help you. Would that be all right?" Weakness, pain, breathing troubles. There is only so much he can do, but perhaps he can at least make her remaining time here more comfortable. Lash walks into the cave and nuzzles Tip Toe, bowing his head deeply to the aged lioness in the back. Wu is one of the oldest lions hes ever met, and one of the sweetest, she doesnt deserve the pain of a bloody death. "Dont worry your head off, ive got my eye on them." he whispers to her. He turns back to the enterance of the den and motions the two newcomers in. "Dont worry, they only bite if youre a threat," he chuckles. "Talus here is a healer, hell be checking everyone over and make sure that everyone is healthy." He gives the lioness one last nuzzle and walks back to Harbinger, pressing their sides together and whispers to him. "I dont know where you were earlier but your lucky you actually smell like that mud pit you like so much, otherwise a few scratches would be the least of your problems. Tip Toe smiles at Lash, obvious in her approval of him. He's protected the den more times than she can count, and that's all that really matters in her opinion. Wu takes a moment before answering Talus' question, "It would be...most," She stops to catch her breath, "welcomed." Coy seems visibly pained at how Wu seems to be feeling. Another lioness smirks at Lashpaw. "We can bite if we like you enough, too." She hints, lashing her tail through the air. The cubs in front of her giggle and pounce upon the flaying appendage with gleeful abandon, not at all catching the meaning beneath her words. Harbinger His words are caught in his throat, he can't get them to come out, he can't breath for gods sake! He licks his lips multiple times, "U-underst-st-stood." He finally forces the word out from his own traitorous mouth, the snarl heavy on it. He hates being here, hates being near Lashpaw even more. Seeing Tip Toe makes him afraid, she had always been keen on encouraging his punishments to 'fix' his stutter when he had first arrived within the pride. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Lashpaw snakes his mane at harbinger as he walks back into the den and settles himself. He watches his king with sympathy, he knows how much this lioness really means to him. "You are welcome to make yourself comfortable, there are always cobs who want to play if your interested," he chuckles, "Or even if your not interested. bUt such is the nature of cubs."
