When Coy Fish was born, he was the only cub that survived. A few months later, his mother gave birth to even more cubs, all three of these ones survived. At only seven months old, Coy's mother died. He had never met his father. Coy, now the only almost-adult, took responsibility for his remaining family. Starvation soon set in as none were able to hunt, and so the oldest set about eating his siblings as a last resort. Now an only cub, the consumption of other lions began to mess with his brain and make him just a little crazy. He was found by another rogue male, this one a regular lion, who took the smilus adol under his care and tried to raise him. However, when Coy began to grow larger than the rogue, this father-figure attempted to kill Coy Fish in fear of losing his authority. This event caused Coy to view all lions and lionesses without mutations as inferior and inherent liars. He had been the only mutated cub, and he survived. His mother had been a regular lioness, and she had died.

After a few years, Coy learned that he could hunt other lionesses far easier than other prey. They feel quickly to his charm and it was easy to dispatch them when they assumed he was just flirting. At three years old, he met Kimba, an orange pelted primal male. They became fast friends and soon made their own pride. At first it was just the two and a pretty piebald lioness, but soon their numbers swelled and Coy only grew harsher and more sadistic in his treatment of his pride. Kimba learned to enjoy the cruelty and often partook in it.

Personality: Heartless and uncaring, Coy prides himself on his ability to fake and manage his own emotions.

Name: Alania

Age: 3,7months

Appearance:A light gold that appears extremely ordinary the only things to dissipate the monotony of gold being her brown tail and dark golden shawl marking. However her eyes are showstoppers and draw attention away from her rather plain coat. Alania’s eyes are differently colored, one being a ruby red and one being emerald green. Alania is well muscled from all the hunts she’s been on, and her claws are almost permanently tinged red from them. She wears no jewelry or decorations except for a simple rabbit skull necklace.

Backstory: Alania didn’t talk of her past life often, she had been a wanderer until Tint had found her. Tint had approached her and showed off amusing her enough for Alania to follow him home and she eventually grew to love the Pride. Alania took on the role of huntress as an escape she was still adjusting from her past life. Though she didn’t talk of her past like often she certainly thought of it often. Her past life had involved stealing and pain even from the tender age of three months. At three months her former pride had been torn apart as kingship changed and the new king began to use the lionesses as pawns. The males moved into a spot of power and the lionesses were treated even more harshly; they were expected to hunt while pregnant and have back to back litters. The pride had been riddled with filth and fear and when her mother was killed before her multicolored eyes Aliana fled. She had barely survived and lived off mice and other prides scraps, sleeping in caves and dens.

Personality: Despite her troubled past Alania had no trouble retaining her happy-go-lucky attitude. She tried to bring happiness wherever she went and believed that even the most tortured and evil characters deserved love in fact, she particularly loved the ones who were evil. She admired the ability to inflict the fear she saw in her own pride and loved even more when she could get close enough to the evil ones to change the way they used the fear from pride pain to pride safety. Alania also seemed to charm everyone she met. Though she seemed to have the tables turned into her favor this did nothing to help her as she was rather aimless. Alania had no driving purpose and seemed as if she focused on everyone elses happiness in order to distract her from her own inner emptiness.

Adir is handsome, but not dreamboat handsome. His fur is Silvery-brown with white fading on his legs, and his mane is a rich rosy brown. He dons ancestral warpaint combined with sun, and Purple and Yellow bedresses, with a warrior's necklace and Headgear. He has many scars on his haunches and belly from a nasty run in with his enemy Marlboro.

Backstory: Adir was raised in a flowering pride, and his mother was the Best thing he had ever had. He was best friends with a Rogue Primal named Marlboro, yet suddenly the two became quick rivals. One Night, Marlboro approached Adir with an offer, That He and Adir kill the King, Adir knew this meant the Death of his mother Artiah, so he declined and brutally wounded Marlboro's jaw. Marlboro, furious, leaves the pride and makes his own pride. Full of filthy rogues, he calls them the Traitorous Blood. They Attack The Claws of Faded Brilliance and slaughter them all. Cubs, Lionesses, And the King. Atiah, close to death, Tells Adir to run and save the legacy. He is now a King. She kisses him one last time and shudders her last breath. Adir, full of blind hate and pain, Runs to safety. he gathers a rag-tag band of misfits, and Creates the Cavewalker pride, Following the Ancient Legends of the Cave Lions from eons ago. One of these Members, a young Adolescent named Nzinga and chosen Heir, is the son of a Traitorous Blood, and he plans to take Adir's place and end the Savannah Legacy as we know it.

If Death was born in Coy Fish’s pride: He was an adolescent, about to be killed when a lion named Banana saved him by taking him to his pride, but when Death’s Escaper was 1 year and 11 months he left to wander as a rogue/wanderer and perhaps have cubs.
If not: Death’s Escaper was born a wanderer and left his mother at 1 year old to wander.

Personality: A bold adult lion who is interested in raising cubs

Backstory:
Moogly met Coy Fish when he was just starting his own pride. Her wooed her with gifts and compliments until he had her wrapped around his claw. At first, he was the sweetest lion she had ever met, but that all changed when she decided to join his pride. It was as if a switch had gone off in the Smilus' head as he became controlling and abusive.

Moogly longs for the day she can finally escape, but cannot leave behind any cubs. Coy knows this and makes sure to keep her weak and malnourished, constantly throwing new cubs into her den as well to add to her stress and encourage her to stay.

Personality: Soft hearted and kind, Moogly may appear like a pushover at first but if you threaten any cubs she will become volatile.

- has snuck out multiple adols to various prides, has suffered greatly for doing so as Coy keeps careful track of all cubs within his pride.

Backstory: Jack was a cub that got dropped in Coy's territory and abandoned. You'd think that Coy would kill him, but Jack was believed to have some sort of primal mutation. The truth is that he doesn't, but he will never admit it out loud, because he knew it would mean his death. Moogy did create him fake claws so that he would seem to have the long claws mutation. He pretends to be extremely loyal, but also quietly turns his back when other lions come to take the cubs from Moogly to give them better lives.

Personality: He is so much kinder than being in the Sunbaked pride would lead you too believe. He knows how to play a cruel motherfucker and will do so too keep on Coy's good side.

Backstory:
Kimba was found by Coy Fish at only 2 years old. They became fast friends due to their primal status and Kimba was soon gently, but persistently, shown the darker side of Coy Fish. At first, Kimba couldn't understand why his friend always arrived home smelling of lion's blood after a hunt. When he did find out, he very nearly ran away. However, Coy was able to rope the male back into it all and force Kimba to view him as an older brother. Kimba adores Coy and will do anything to please him.

Personality: gullible, snarky, and willing to be deceived by his king, Kimba is the perfect right paw man for someone like Coy Fish.

Royalfrost comes from a dedicated little pride in an unimportant corner of the earth. She was the only cub of her litter, but her mother had born 2 cubs prior from other sires. Her life, for the most of her cubhood, had been simple yet extraordinary. From a young age, Royalfrost showed much promise with cubs, especially since her mother had another litter of cubs and she'd been stuck babysitting. But she loved it.
When she was old enough, turned into an adult, she ventured out into the great unknown. Royalfrost loved her family, but her sense of adventure had always driven her out. She was certainly happy with her kin, but the lioness wanted to choose her own path, start her own story. That's when she found Coy Fish and his pride. Of course, her boldness nd romantic nature enticed him and he let her join. However, Royalfrost was viewed as better-capable as a denmother than a warrior or huntress, given that she was born with no claws. Therefore, she befame the head denmother, and she now cares for all of the cubs of the pride.

Royalfrost takes pride in her charming but compassionate nature. Motherly and kind, but she isn't afraid to ccrack a joke or two. It is often she can be seen playfully flirting with some of her other pride members to get them smiling, or telling the cubs she is watching the bestest adventure stories.

Arune is definitively smaller in size than regular male tigon, he will grow up to be the size somewhere between primal male and smilus. He is also fluffier than most tigons, this might have something to do with his mother having primal mutation.

Backstory: Arune was result of his mother selling her heat to some old tigon (it was desperate act to help Moogly), unfortunately he died shortly after that, the gossip says he was killed by his own heir - who quickly made it known that he wasn't fond of any potential rivals in his pride, reinforcing his intentions by chasing or killing any male cubs and adols who where descendants of the old king. Some time later, Arune and his older sibling where born, where he was the only one in his litter that was very diffrent, not only he was a tigon, but his mother couldn't tell if he was a little lioness or lion... Aside of that they were born healthy. Due to the fact that their father was no longer alive, he and his siblings had to stay in their mothers pride.

Personality: Arune is quite honest most of the time, appearing somewhat grumpy to others. He is independent and has strong moral compass, at the same time they are quite shy and soft, even nurturing inside his prickly shell. Aru loves water and he is swimming very well, to the point where he intentionaly makes other lions uncomfortable, he is a little troublemaker you know. They bite when annoyed!

Backstory: His small size and skittish nature made Talus a poor candidate to rule his own pride. His drive to help others on his journey has led to him the outskirts of Sunbaked lands. He knows he cannot approach, wouldn't dare to, but perhaps if he stays here he can give those that manage to run a better chance. Every day the knowledge of what goes on just over the borderlines gnaws at him. Perhaps one day he will be able to do more. But for now, he just does what he can. Being a mutation himself, he just doesn't get it. He isn't somehow more deserving of life than any other...right?

Personality: Talus is gentle and kind, but skittish. For better or worse, he has a soft heart. He's quiet and gifted in stealth, preferring to take a passive route whenever conflict arises. He knows he would protect another lion if he could, and he will throw himself into the line of fire for cubs, but he also knows that it would not end well for him. He values giving to others and is happy to share herbs or a meal with someone who needs it.

-Talus has a few small animals he has managed to befriend. When he's able to, he has them run mouthfuls of healing herbs inside the borders. Sometimes they don't come back. He remembers every single one.

Backstory: Knawbones was once the Heir of his pride before another lion killed his King father and ran every male cub out of the pride. He doesnt know if the new KIng knew of his mutation or not, he simply didnt want ANY male cubs from the old king able to usupr him when they came of age. He wandered around, avoiding other grown lions for fear that he might be killed, nearly starving in the process. After he witnessed the mass slaughter of mothers and cubs from another pride wishing to get rid of them and being to hungry to refuse, he ate the corpse of another for the first time. After that, something small broke inside him and he simply focused on surviving, eating what he could, when he could. Wether it was prey animals he caught himself, or the carcas of another lion. He grew fast and strong, being the size of an unmutated lion by the end of his first year, and able to kill full grown lions by a year and a half old. He doesnt kill for fun, only necessity. He has had few paramours from other wandering males he has found in his travels but has shown no interest in any of the females hes encountered.

Personality: While Knawbones seems very laidback he has a hairtrigger temper that can be triggered by any number of things, He also doesnt really care for lionesses much outside of breeding and even then only if they have a mutation, thos in his original pride he was seen as quite a prize as the heir before his Kingly father was userped. He never wants to father cubs of his own and would rather not interact with many if he can help it.

Backstory:
Harbinger was abandoned by his family due to his constant stuttering when under duress- and he was always stressed. Even having someone look at him while he spoke was enough to cause him to trip over his words and stammer through even one worded answers. Growing tired of their 'embarrassment' of a cub, his family quickly chased him out once he reached adolhood. He spent the majority of that first year wandering and hiding, but was eventually found by Kimba and Coy Fish just outside of the other Smilus's territory. He was afraid he would be killed, but thanks to his mutation, Coy instantly took a liking to him and took him under his wing.

Personality: Shy and easily embarrassed when in front of Coy Fish, Harbinger embodies his name when left alone with helpless prey- be they lion, cub, or other.

Backstory: When Lashpaw was a young lion he was ran ouf of his fathers pride. Tho normally having a primal as an heir is seen as a blessing, but his father was growing old, becoming senile and paranoid. He believed that each and every one of his sons was out to get him, to kill him. Any male cub of his above a year old was run out of the pride. Lashpaw wandered for a number of years on his own afterword, growing stronger and killing larger prey. After a while he began to challange other lions and found killing was easy for him. And he reveled in it. Defeating larger lions was the kind of chalange he lived for. Later Lashpaw was found wandering by one of Coy FIshs scouting patrols, he was recruted immediatly due to his status as a primal. So far his life within Coys pride has been fairly kushy, despite the purging of the pride Coy often does.

Personality: Lashpaw loves to fight, always taking a challange if issued to him. He rarly looses to many others, and the other primals in Coys pride give him a challange. For all he loves fighting hes fairly articulate and soft sopken, tho he lets his oppinion be know, even when not asked. The only lions ins the pride he really defers to ar eCoy Fish himself and the second in command Kimba.
