This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Coy Fish | Sunbaked Center Coy is right in front of Talus now, looking down at him with a sinister smile on his muzzle, "Are they now? Those poor lionesses, I will be sure to give them some extra stallion at the meal tonight." He bends down, hot breath fanning across Talus's face and through his mane, "Any other sage advice?" He seems to realize something and reels himself in, coughing gently and sitting down so he is no longer towering over Talus. "Apologies, I realize my cadence can make me seem rude and aggressive." He grins, the mask up and firmly in place. However, it is easy to see the seams of this facade, "What steps should be taken? I hate having my pride unwell, but I need strong cubs if they are to survive in such a climate. Surely you understand such troublesome problems? There is not always a perfect solution." "Uh..." He's admittedly rather shocked at the change in demeanor, considering he was pretty sure he'd have ripped out his throat a moment ago. What is he playing at, just accepting Talus questioning his decisions? "Well, if you're going to insist on...feeding them that, I can give you herbs to add to their food, settle their stomaches and mitigate some of the...other effects. But, my little herb," He gets up again, momentarily dropping that mask he was struggling to keep up, and nudges the healer closer to the rock, rubbing his head against his neck, "You forget that I have lived nearly my whole life on lion's meat, and I have yet to show any of these effects you are so worried about." He laughs, 'playfully' nipping Talus's ear and nearly drawing blood. He backs up, a pleasant grin on his face as he slow-blinks at the healer, "Your advice is much appreciated, Talus. I will bear it in mind, so long as Wu is properly taken care of, of course." The mask is back up, a bit more rushed and showing signs of wear this time. He seems miffed he dropped the act, or miffed he has to act at all. It is hard to tell. ((Gotta go to bed now! Might y'all!! I'll respond in the morning ))((Also, Coy is under the assumption everyone is willing to backstab and harm others to get what they want so he's just assuming Talus is nonchalantly threatening his mother figure lmao)) 0 players like this post! He gulps, trembling against the rock as he backs away. His whole life on lion's meat?... This could be worse than he thought. Though it's hard to ponder anything when he's never been so terrified in his life, his voice nearly a whisper "O-of course she will..." Lahspaw grins as he leaves the dwarf den, content and happy with the way things had played out. Coy was right, the dwarfs had spunk enough to make up for their short stature. Harbinger | Outside the Pride He flops on his side, all of his wounds screaming at him. He’s done enough patrolling and could theoretically return to the pride, but this is the only chance he has to rest and be alone for a moment. There shouldn’t be any risk of running into any other lions since he is the only scout. Harbinger | Outside Sunbaked The warmth from the sun and the gentle sound of a weak breeze through the dry grass and branches is practically lulling the scout into sleep. He is gently purring, finally feeling peaceful out here. He wishes he could go back to the marshy glen, but he doesn't want to get any mud and muck in his open wounds. Harbinger | Outside Sunbaked He startles at the sudden and ungraceful entry of Talus, snorting in slight fear until he realizes who it is. "Ah, T-Talus." He slow-blinks and heaves himself into a sitting position, "I'm, I'm fine. Are you, are you o-okay?" His head tilted to the side as he looked over the healer and scented the anxiety form him.
